If your looking for hipster chic, go back to where you came from. This is a Northern Wisconsin bar. However, they have great food in addition to a few tap beers, a few more in cans and bottles, and four pretty ladies serving it and pounding out the food. Not a ton of seating, but you can get the food to go to take back to your cabin. . Oh, and everybody is "honey". So stop looking down your nose, get a beer and order some food. Classic Wisconsin bar that's super friendly; made us out-of-towners feel so welcome! Had the best buffalo wings here, super crispy even after being tossed in the sauce and some legit blue cheese dressing for dipping. We had to order a third order to take home they were so good! My mom and I were heading up to Chetek for my first cabin visit of the season, and we stopped by the B & B for a quick burger and a drink. It's a pretty small and dark bar, and you won't find any craft brews on tap, but no matter, they have Mich Golden so I was happy. Their burger menu is pretty extensive, and a good deal. There is a set price of $6.99 for any of the 15+ burgers, including fries, and onion rings are just $1 more. The toppings range from sauerkraut, ham, and even peanut butter! I went with the Continental, which was a bacon and sour cream topped burger and the onion rings. I also ordered a Bloody Mary, which was very spicy and delicious. The food was excellent, especially the onion rings. I'll definitely be ordering them next time. I got to sample their fries with my mom's fish sandwich special, and they were awfully tasty as well! Not only was the food good, the price was right. For four drinks (2 gin and tonics, a beer, and a bloody) and two sandwiches with sides, the bill came to $25 bucks! I've heard they have pizza, too, so I'm sure I'll try that some time over this summer. I know I'll be back! read more

Found this place after searching for a grocery store in a nearby town. The reviews seemed pretty promising, so even though it doesn't look like much on the outside, give it a chance. On the inside it's what you would expect a small town bar to look like- dark and cozy. We were greeted warmly and told we could sit wherever we'd like. We started with the cheese curds because it's Wisconsin, and some Summer Shandy. For entrees I ordered the ham stack sandwich and my boyfriend ordered the philly. But, we walked in on a Saturday afternoon, ordered some drinks and a pizza, and were impressed with how delicious their food was! Lastly, they have a make your own Bloody Mary bar that my family really enjoys. However, I'm not sure what day of the week its offered.
