After discovering Cheese Brothers online, I was excited to try this melty low-carb snack at home. It was easy to prepare, just fried it in a pan over low-medium heat. Though small in size (4x6) and not as melty as I thought it would be (more breadlike), the golden baked bliss was savory and buttery and sinfully good. As a cheese fanatic, both the original flavor and italian were irresistible. But they do have a minimum order amount to get a package shipped out, so I ordered the garlic flavor too, which I have yet to try. Also got a block of 8-year-aged cheddar and yodel parmesan gruyere, both on the house. Not a bad deal at all. The delivery process was smooth and professional as well. read more

Buyer beware! I plac!ed an order for a ONE-TIME wedding gift and I discovered that they made it an automatic monthly order charging my card $54 every month constantly!! I consider this fraud and reported it to my credit card. They can't be trusted to handle orders correctly. Pay CLOSE ATTENTION to your credit card to avoid this company's unfortunate violation! I definitely don't recommend them or using their website! read more

We were very pleased with the 12 Days Advent Calendar. It arrived on time and in a cute box that fit in my basement fridge. There were 3 full-sized bags of curds (one regular, one spicy-ish, and one garlic and dill) , and 9 full-sized blocks of cheese: Smoked Gouda, Honey Siracha Gouda, 8-year Aged Cheddar, an Alpine style, Italian style, Parmesan Gruyere, and Havarti Dill. Every one of them was delicious. This is a great way to try many cheeses to know what to order the rest of the year! Next Christmas I will be sending these as gifts. read more

Couple issues. You should not buy as a gift because it comes in a box advertising what's in it. Kinda spoils the surprise. 2nd issue is I live in AZ and when it arrived the ice packs were melted and cheese was warm. Not even sure if its safe to eat now. Better packaging should be used when shipping something in the summer to Arizona. Kinda feel like I wasted my money. read more

If everyone is suddenly asking what you want for Christmas perhaps they should reframe their question. Sometimes we don't know what we want. Someone in my household was recently asked by someone outside my household "what do you like?" The person who asked wanted to thank the person who replied and I can only assume the reply was what set this whole thing in motion: "I like cheese". Well, who doesn't? If any state in our union screams "cheese" that state would be Wisconsin so what could be more perfect than a huge array of Wisconsin cheese being delivered directly to your door? "The arrival of "The Ultimate Wisconsin Cheese Sampler" is almost reason for a party. I immediately tore into the Mango Habanero Gouda and followed with the Smoked Cheddar. Honey Sriracha Gouda and Green Onion Cheddar will likely be torn into in a few hours. As a recipient, I can vouch that this sampler is a great gift. If forced to come up with anything less than 100% positive I would acknowledge that, as a NorCal resident the packaging of the individual cheeses strikes me as a bit more "supermarket shelf" than, "artisan cheesemaker". There is no goat cheese in the mix. This observation probably says more about the differences between the Bay Area and the state of Wisconsin than anything about the cheese itself. Wisconsin didn't get its cheesemaking reputation for nothing and Cheese Brothers, Inc. is a great way to try what that state offers. Truly, opening this bountiful box of assorted cheeses was a fun surprise and I can't imagine anyone else feeling otherwise. read more

Cheese Brothers - There were at least 4 more cheeses in the Sampler than depicted here. Fun gift to receive! - Cheese Shops Near Me - Barron, Wisconsin

I was quite impressed with how well-packaged my cheese order was. When I opened the cardboard box, the packages were sealed within an inner soft-plastic cooler, the freezer packs within were still pretty solid, and of the cheeses were still cold. Thus far, the Havarti dill cheese has been my favorite; it was smooth, fresh, and tasted like it had just arrived from a creamery. I'm really impressed with the responsiveness of their customer service department. They expeditiously fix any issues. read more

Skip the cheese isle at the grocery store. Order from this place. The cheese is phenomenal and not overpriced. The Parmesan, smoked Gouda with bacon, green onion cheddar, sharp cheddar and most of all, dill and garlic cheese curds are all amazing! read more

The shipping was more than ghe cheese. .no itemized bill to..they sybmitted bil to pay pal and never recealed the charge

I bought this for four people Christmas, because I've become the age where I send food. I mean, it is pretty practical-- they all have enough stuff. Everyone reports that the cheese was delicious and came in handy during the holiday season because everyone had something to put out or take to an event for Happy Hour. I was also interested to see that they have a special recognition for people with cerebral palsy, which my uncle has, so it was a nice touch for the gift. read more

Fast shipping, great gifts. Signed up for the text alerts and got a free mystery block added to the order.

I had the pleasure of trying Cheese Brothers cheese when my finance had a virtual team cheese tasting event that got a box of Cheese Brothers shipped to our house. While we life in San Francisco now, I am a Wisconsin native and was super excited. It was so fun trying unique and different flavors. The mango habanero was an overall favorite. The diablo is definitely super spicy! I also loved the Italian style and good ol' fashion smoked gouda. The cheese is large portion rounds and reasonably priced. Their website is also easy to navigate & order - I just sent my mom a gift for her birthday. Congrats to local businesses working hard, especially in the pandemic! read more

Groupons make this place a on my list of cheese shops. It's such a good deal. The cheeses include standard ones we all know but a few different flavors I haven't seen elsewhere like honey sriracha. I've been a few times and staff have always been friendly, quick to help, offers tasty samples (not skimpy mini bites, they actually give a decent size piece) and just seem like they enjoy being there. Anytime a Groupon appears for this place, grab one because it's worth it! read more

First time I have been in this store. The staff was super nice and knew a lot about cheese. They have lots of samples and will let you try almost anything. The cheese is very fresh and very tastty. They have pretty good discounts on cheese boxes. Fun Cheese shop! read more

We purchased cheese curds to give out in Christmas packages. I chose the Christmas Shipping option, but the system overrode my option and sent out before Thanksgiving. Possibly due to the coupon code offered on the site? So unfortunately we have the option to give out less than fresh curds or nothing at all. Customer service was not helpful. I personally will not order again. read more

Great cheese great service cheese curds are awesome love the horseradish cheese will definitely order again

Cheese is great but very pricey. The portions are extremely small. Unfortunately, it was the first and last time time I will order. I'll have to settle for Cabot's or Hannaford's Cheese products. read more

Just got my first order. Ripped into it. Grew up in WI and moved to California many years ago. Always miss real WI cheese. The packaging is out of bounds wrapped with ice packs in insulated bag. Ordered three cheeses and the Lavender Cherry Preserves. Absolute deliciousness Within A week, i had the pkg via UPS. Also, appreciated the free gift of cheese flavor I have not tasted bf. read more

Being a red-blooded, Wisconsin born farm girl, I basically stopped dead in my tracks when I saw a cheese store in the Mall of America. I then realized they were giving out samples, which miraculously lit a fire--who are these people and what are they doing here?? Well, they're from Wisconsin alright and if there's one thing Wisconsinites have mastered besides binge-drinking, it'd be the art of cheese making. No longer do you have to trek as far as Cady Cheese or Ellsworth, you now have the convenience of a real, live Wisconsin cheese store in the biggest Mall in the country. What's not to love? They have a cooler of cheese with many samples to try in the front of the store with Gouda, Swiss, Havarti, Cheddar, and smoked varieties and also interesting concoctions (such as the Honey Sriracha--try it, I personally like to top it with honey and put it on a cracker). They also have some more varieties to left side of the store featuring aged cheddars among other cheeses. They also have had a promo going each time I have went. Good cheese + good prices + good service means you should check this place out (although I would advise on your last stop--it is cheese after all!) read more

You gotta try their cheese!! Particularly the Rhapsody. Don't get me wrong, all their cheese is outstanding, but the Rhapsody is so unique. I love the crystal texture and the snappy flavor. Cheese. Great signage. Can't get anymore specific than that. Samples? Umm yes please - hand raised so high. I had the havarti cheese with a raspberry pepper jam. One bite and I was hooked. The cheese is made in Stanley, WI. I hate Wisconsin, but for cheese I can put my hate aside (or for as long as it takes me to finish a block of cheese). The jam is made local as well - from Minneapolis, MN. Yah MN! The jam is from Lucille's Kitchen Garden. Pretty sure I met Lucille. Celebrity! I bought 2 of the local cheeses and 2 of the premium cheeses for $20. A steal of a deal. The jam was $8-ish. There is cute home decor inside as well - catered towards MN and WI. Of course there are cheese accessories, too. The owner, Eric, was incredibly friendly. I sampled some of his favorites and we talked about where the cheeses are made, etc. Very personable! The customer service alone is enough to go back! However, I'm in TX now...maybe some day they'll ship, but for now I hope they never leave the MOA so I can come back for more the next time I'm in town!!! read more

I am happy that I stumbled across this cheese store. This store is on the 2nd level on the East side. This store is all about cheese which what you would think a cheese shop would be. I have lived in Minnesota since 1978 and I have not really tried Wisconsin cheese and didn't understand the hype. I was on a work trip to a few cities in Wisconsin The hotel had some Wisconsin cheese out for guests and I tried it and was pleasantly surprised how good and creamy it was. I knew I needed some to go with my wine at night. I have bought 8 different cheeses and have enjoyed them all. They have a special where you can buy 4 cheeses for $20 and a Yelp check in offer of a free cheese also. This place is all about cheese not like the subpar cheese shop on the 3rd floor. I have been here twice but I must have forgot a check in. I will be a regular customer. I have met the owner, he has a lot of cheese knowledge and passion to share with you. I don't know cheese and he took the time to explain things to me and provided samples of cheeses that I wasn't familiar with. I can't wait to try more. I am hooked. Expect to see my smiling face often. New wine and cheese diet. LOL read more

If you're at the Mall of America, you must check out this store! They have so many cheeses and my favorite - cheese curds that have a squeak! They have a 4 for $20 deal and with a Yelp checking you can get another cheese free! The deal includes the specialty cheeses, so I also got a gruyere in addition to my cheese curds, the honey sriracha and dill havarti. Emma gave us samples of almost all the cheeses and was super helpful and patient when we were choosing. They also sell online! read more

Blown away with their selection and free samples! The smoked gouda sample we tried at the entrance was SO FREAKIN DELICIOUS, we had to go in. The BF and I ended up purchasing four different cheeses to take back to Virginia with us. The girl who was working was so sweet and helpful. She made great suggestions and let us try almost every cheese we wanted. You could truly tell she enjoyed her job and helping customers! I wish I got her name :( Our experience in the store and specifically with her made me want to buy everything in there. Best part is, they have an online store. Can't wait to order more cheese! read more

Cheese? At Mall of America? Okay! Sure it may seem a little odd, but this is a win-win situation for everyone. Besides, you can get almost anything at the mall anyway so why not some delicious cheeses? This place is fantastic, all varieties of Wisconsin-made cheeses all available to be sampled prior to purchase. The service is friendly and of the 3 times I have been there this month, there's been a promotion every time warranting taking home some more cheese-because why not? For example, purchase 4 bricks of any cheese from the case and receive one free! In addition to cheese, they also sell a variety of locally-made honey and spicy jellies. Definitely worth trying! They're great on crackers with a slice of their cheese on top. As far as cheeses, I absolutely love their Havarti and Monterey Jack! The cheese curds they offer for sampling are also worth a try, why not indulge? You won't be disappointed. read more

Great cheese and customer service. I ordered online a sampler pack. We are in Miami, Fl and had a heat wave last week the cheese arrived room temperature. Amazing service, was in from a Chicago on Saturday and the women working was absolutely wonderful. Okay at first you think, it's cheese. How good or bad can cheese be? This stuff tastes just like Kraft, right? Um. Nope! Your typical $2 super market cheese now tastes like plastic compared to this stuff. Went in to sample, like most people do, and walked out with a new favorite cheese company. This stuff is so good. Plus the staff is always super friendly, and the owners are great. Do yourself a favor and buy the good stuff - seriously! read more

Some of the best tasting cheese I've had. So fresh and clean flavor. The Horseradish Cheddar is ah-mazing! Their basic Havarti is a delight. Smoked Gouda gets two thumbs up! The guy working tonight was super friendly and helpful. If it weren't for him then I probably would not have purchased four different cheeses. The cheese there is also so good....it tastes better than the cheeses in the supermarket read more

I just wandered into this gem today, not expecting to buy anything. My husband, the good sport he is, allowed himself to be drug along. Eric was there, and spent a good time talking to us and answering my questions, which was awesome in and of itself. However, I was NOT expecting him to pull out a pairing that he himself found noteworthy. Honey butter made in St. Paul, paired with Vat 77 (?). I normally don't gravitate towards sweet things, but decided to go with it and It. Was. AMAZING! Ended up buying two blocks of cheese and a jar of the honey butter. I believe I have found my new cheese shop! read more
