We had pie and tea. The food is so good. Homemade Pies and donuts. Service is great. Very friendly. Ambiance is like an old general store. Really neat place to stop and eat and shop as well as feed the animals. I can't express how good the baked goods are at this establishment. We will continue to frequent this establishment.

The place flat out delivers, they use high quality fresh ingredients and make flavorful dishes that will get you coming back. Service here is awesome and efficient! Once you are done ordering you can walk around the store and shop all the same fresh ingredients that are in the food or get a gift! The place is friendly and leaves you full and comfortable. Before you leave go say hi to the animals they have a neat variety of animals you can pay to feed, it's a dollar a cup!

It's a crumby job picking up baked goods, but someone kneaded to do it!

"I really don't think I need buns of steel. I'd be happy with buns of cinnamon." (Ellen DeGeneres) Pure-n-Simple is near my family's cabin, and with a crew that can run up to 20+ people, it's handy to have close access to kitchen staples like milk, specialty breads, Amish rolled butter, and tasty pies. Yes, pies are a staple!! Fruit pies! Snickers and Oreo pies! Pistachio! Cheesecakes! YOU get a pie! And YOU get a pie! EVERYONE gets a pie! When you've finished stuffing your pie hole, tame that sugar high with hearty sandwiches, grass-fed Angus burgers, soups, and salads from the restaurant. The breakfast cutoff is enforced at 11am, so arrive early to wakey, wakey with free-range eggs and bakey! Before you leave, grab some delicious donuts, cookies, muffins, or almond morning buns on the run, but don't share them with the furry and feathered friends in the petting zoo. There are $1 food cups for them instead. With so much to see and eat here, I'll keep it simple. It's a pure joy to visit this store--I give it 4.8 Turneresque shout-outs of, "Simply the best!"

Located near my family cabin, we never miss an opportunity to stop at Pure N Simple. More than a dining space, this spot has an outdoor petting zoo, interior store full of baking ingredients, a few clothes, a recently added baby section with onesies, toys, etc., cookie dough in the freezer to take-and-bake along with a smaller section of refrigerated items such as milk, cheese, and meats. The actual restaurant serves hot and fresh made to order meals at the check out counter. Once ordered, a server will bring the meal(s) to your table. Don't slip on the cookies! Any cookie with frosting is to DIE for - best cookies I have had and they have every selection of pie one could dream up. I couldn't say enough positive comments about Pure N Simple. I suggest stopping if you are in the area!

A slice of turtle cheesecake. It was rich and filling!

It was decorated in cute farmhouse decor mixed with a cozy country feeling and was giving me some fun Mexican vibes. As our server was giving us a run down of the specials, she mentioned they have special date nights dedicated to serving only Mexican dishes and tasty margaritas! We'll have to come back to try it! As for the breakfast we had, it was served quite promptly, despite being busy. My husband had the chicken fried steak with scrambled eggs and hash brown. It was one of the best he had! He asked for extra crispy hash browns and it was made perfectly! I had a simple breakfast of easy over eggs and bacon. It was quite delicious! Our server was very friendly and warm. They had a couple of people walking around making sure our drinks were always full. I highly recommend this cute cafe and will definitely be coming back!

Biz was my server and is the nicest! Lynn, also the nicest Manager, stopped by to check on things as well. Even Anson, the chef stepped out to check on things! I had the blueberry pancakes with eggs and bacon...delicious! The pancakes were deceiving... they had a ton of blueberries inside! Bacon crispy. Eggs large and cooked perfectly. Look forward to making Amelia's my regular breakfast stop gong forward, and meeting Amelia in the future. Highly recommend...great food...great service!

Such cute cupcakes and cake pops hand decorated. The staff was helpful with answering questions and brought the Midwest kindness. Note that if you are vegan or lactose intolerant, this may not be the spot for you (understandably). We ordered: Pesto parm focaccia: incredible! We sliced and served it with an Italian meal and an olive oil dipping sauce and it was the highlight. Soft, fluffy, and flavorful. -bbq bacon biscuit sandwiches: very good! You can get them to heat them in their oven for you or you do it at home. Just a slight sweetness and hint of BBQ, which seems to have coated the crisp bacon. The biscuit is buttery, fluffy, and perfectly crumbly. Monster cookies: the kids loved these. They are PB oatmeal cookies with M&Ms. great taste, but I wish they were softer rather than crunchy. -Cinnamon roll: the roll itself was huge and very soft. We wished there had been more of the cinnamon/sugar filling in it. However, the frosting was to die for! Just a hint of cream cheese, great consistency (not too thin or thick), and not overwhelmingly sweet. This spot was pricey, but with food costs, it likely needs to be for them to function. Always happy to support great local spots.
