Absolutely the worst cake we have ever eaten. I am…read morereviewing the chocolate cake with buttercream frosting - or they should be real and call it what it is "Crisco frosting" because there cannot be any butter in there - we are guessing Crisco, We like to have cakes from bakeries thinking that they use real ingredients versus grocery store cakes and the quality would be better. The frosting was bad but also the cake was really dry with a strange after taste. Our whole group whose ages range from 14 to 76 years old thought this cake was awful. Everyone thought it was so bad they couldn't eat it. We threw the rest away. My one star review is not related to the customer service but I will also add that who we thought was the owner was very rube when ordering this cake. She also made a very rube comment to my husband when he was picking it up.

So we ordered two pies and a dozen brownies for last Saturday,Then I called a day later and…read moreasked.if I could pick up Friday and add a pie and more brownies. The young lady that answered the phone did a great job arranging for earlier pickup. The Pies were out of this world good one was coconut cream and a apple and a blueberry pie was amazing .Now for the brownies they were the best I had ever.Everything is very good there also they have a great selection of bread too.I can hardly wait to go back. Thanks Again I would show you pictures but they are all gone.

What a delightful local bakery. We found easy parking and went into the small shop, decked out with…read morea large counter to choose fresh or refrigerated items and then self serve items to grab from nearby shelving. Such cute cupcakes and cake pops hand decorated. The staff was helpful with answering questions and brought the Midwest kindness. Note that if you are vegan or lactose intolerant, this may not be the spot for you (understandably). We ordered: Pesto parm focaccia: incredible! We sliced and served it with an Italian meal and an olive oil dipping sauce and it was the highlight. Soft, fluffy, and flavorful. -bbq bacon biscuit sandwiches: very good! You can get them to heat them in their oven for you or you do it at home. Just a slight sweetness and hint of BBQ, which seems to have coated the crisp bacon. The biscuit is buttery, fluffy, and perfectly crumbly. Monster cookies: the kids loved these. They are PB oatmeal cookies with M&Ms. great taste, but I wish they were softer rather than crunchy. -Cinnamon roll: the roll itself was huge and very soft. We wished there had been more of the cinnamon/sugar filling in it. However, the frosting was to die for! Just a hint of cream cheese, great consistency (not too thin or thick), and not overwhelmingly sweet. This spot was pricey, but with food costs, it likely needs to be for them to function. Always happy to support great local spots.

It was decorated in cute farmhouse decor mixed with a cozy country feeling and was giving me some fun Mexican vibes. As our server was giving us a run down of the specials, she mentioned they have special date nights dedicated to serving only Mexican dishes and tasty margaritas! We'll have to come back to try it! As for the breakfast we had, it was served quite promptly, despite being busy. My husband had the chicken fried steak with scrambled eggs and hash brown. It was one of the best he had! He asked for extra crispy hash browns and it was made perfectly! I had a simple breakfast of easy over eggs and bacon. It was quite delicious! Our server was very friendly and warm. They had a couple of people walking around making sure our drinks were always full. I highly recommend this cute cafe and will definitely be coming back!

Biz was my server and is the nicest! Lynn, also the nicest Manager, stopped by to check on things as well. Even Anson, the chef stepped out to check on things! I had the blueberry pancakes with eggs and bacon...delicious! The pancakes were deceiving... they had a ton of blueberries inside! Bacon crispy. Eggs large and cooked perfectly. Look forward to making Amelia's my regular breakfast stop gong forward, and meeting Amelia in the future. Highly recommend...great food...great service!

When I'm in the Duluth area, I usually try to snag a treat from 3rd Street Bakery. I normally go…read morefor either their blueberry or raspberry bar but their cookies are a good choice too. My kids (and my wife and I, let's be honest) really love the S'mores cookie but that Thunder cookie is pretty darn good too. You can build a pack of cookies with that day's flavors, 6 cookies will run you $12.50. Cookies are crisp and chewy, a good mixture of soft and crisp. If cookies are not in your diet, there is an assortment of savory breads and breakfast pastries as well. Back to those fruit bars, their blueberry bar is great. Full of fresh fruit with a touch of vanilla, so good!

The baker who checked me out was really friendly and happily answered my questions about availability and some day-old loaves (they have discounted day-olds!). Went in to get a baguette but it turns out they're an "occasional" item so I'd call ahead to ask. Ended up getting a couple things I'll note below. I'd probably put them around the quality Duluth's Best Bread but I like supporting a much more progressive place that gives back to the community. - An almond croissant that was solid for the price. Not mind-blowing, but wasn't too dense like a lot are. The flavor was really good. - A loaf of the day-old multigrain that was still excellent. Used it for toast and as a vessel for some A+ salmon dip from Northern Waters - Dog treats! It was neat seeing the fundraiser and always love getting a snack for the dog. They're not smelly, made from simple ingredients, and the pup loved them
