We made reservations and came in an hour early for drinks at the bar and have the supper clubs experience. We arrived and the hostess Kaylee greeted us and directed us to the bar and told us she would come grab us for the reservation. Kaylee was super sweet and friendly. We walked into the bar which looks like a fun spot to socialize. Unfortunately every seat was filled. Some with teens which was a disappointment. The bar staff didn't seem to see us nor did servers passing by so we went back to Kaylee and asked if we could grab a table in the bar area to order drinks until our reservation. She was great and found a spot for us. The restaurant and patio were empty but the bar was full. After a few minutes, no one had taken our order so my husband went to the bar and ordered cocktails. From that point the bartender attended to us. Our dirty martini and old fashioned were very good. When it was time for our reservation, we elected to sit outside since it was such a nice evening. The patio has plenty of seating and a beautiful view of the lake. The building could use a little refresh but it is still a nice patio to sit and enjoy a meal. Our server was Maria who couldn't have been more lovely. She was friendly, attentive and always walked with a smile. I ordered the filet, medium, with a baked potato. The filet was cooked perfect medium but lacked seasoning. The potato was fine. My husband ordered the special which was a chicken Alfredo dish. He said it was delicious. For desert we ordered the donuts. Served warm with a whipped cream. They were also very good. Overall it was a nice experience except for the start to the night in the bar. The hostess Kaylee and server Maria were excellent which helped turn the evening around.

It reminded me of a conference room. Our server was Amanda who was very friendly and attentive. She offered some nice suggestions off the menu as well. Two in our group ordered the whisky old fashioned which they both liked and I ordered a dirty martini. The martini was made properly but served in a glass versus a martini glass. Kind of strange and it really does make a difference in the taste when served in a proper martini glass. We were provided with a fruit tray and crackers to start. For appetizers, we ordered the green pepper rings and the cheese curds. I liked the green pepper rings. Like an onion ring but with green peppers. Cheese curds were your average cheese curds. For dinner I ordered the Cajun Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo - Grilled Cajun chicken in a pesto alfredo sauce topped with tomatoes $20. It was actually a large portion snd I took home leftovers. Chicken was a little tough but the flavor was very good. Dinner came with a basic salad and choice of soup. I ordered the French onion soup. There was a strange seasoning in the soup so it was not my favorite. My husband ordered the Barbeque Baby Back Pork Ribs. The finest in ribs prepared in our own sauce 27.75. He said they were very good. Our friends ordered a fish special. They didn't say anything but neither finished their entree. My husband had a taste and said it was a little rubbery. They have an extensive desert list, all homemade deserts. For desert we ordered Peanut Butter Cheesecake Rich with a chocolate ganache and graham cracker crust. $7. This was delicious. Since it was our friend's birthday the staff came out and sang happy birthday which we thought was very nice. After dinner we headed to the lounge for an after dinner drink. Our bartender Kristy was very friendly and fun. She shared a lot of the restaurants history with us and offered to take our picture. She was excellent. I got the Pollock and fries, thinking that if they call the fish by name, it can't be frozen pre packaged fish sticks. They were pretty good, and different sizes and thick with a good batter. Turns out that most fish sticks are made from Pollock. The TV was turned to the GSN (gameshow network) where Bob Barker was being handed a lifetime achievement award and I thought: a) he is still alive? and b) there is a gameshow network? We opted for the Heavenly Hibiscus which is a raspberry mimosa with an edible flower. This drink was delightful and fresh! For food, we split the charcuterie board which was filled with grapes, almonds, two types of cheese, crackers and salami. We also split the pizza and were happy that we could pick our own toppings for each side. One pizza was the perfect size for two! There was one canned beer and a sangria ordered as well. While truly a 5 star experience, I did think it was odd that the plates and water cups were paper as everything else was elegant and upscale. This observation is not enough to damage any lower score, yet I am still calling it out so others are aware / genuinely curious on why this would be ?
