North Coast Floor and Tile recently finished new engineered hardwood flooring through most of the house as well as new carpet in the primary bedroom. WOW! It looks fantastic. They were very quick and thorough to come and provide an estimate . Brittany was a great communicator as far as choices and getting the estimate together. Jim did much of the work and his attention to detail is the best! He is very meticulous. We are so happy we had this work completed by NC Floor and Tile! You won't regret the excellent work and service they provide. Thanks to all who made it happen! read more

Please use caution when doing business with this company. I was searching for discontinued flooring throughout the US and was excited to hear that North Coast Tile and Flooring had the discontinued flooring in stock. This meant that I could match the flooring that I started in my kitchen 3 years ago. The ordering process was smooth and the staff was friendly. HOWEVER, when it came time to ship the flooring I wasn't informed until AFTER the product had shipped that they only had 7 of the 12 boxes of flooring I had already paid for. The sales associate was very aware of the fact that I was searching for discounted flooring. What was I going to do with only a fraction of the flooring I had calculated to finish my flooring project?! In addition, the pictures of the product I had requested be sent BEFORE the product shipped didn't come until after it had shipped showing damaged flooring! As you can see from the pics below the flooring was damaged and they sent it anyway. I had to fight with the manager, Kerry, to get the refund on the damaged product. She wanted to refund me half of the price of the damaged boxes because "I could cut the damaged ends and use the rest." WHAT?! In addition, I had to pay a freight company to come pick up and deliver the products which wasn't cheap. Keep in mind that I paid for 12 boxes to be shipped and I only received 7. So, I way overpaid for shipping of damaged goods. I tried to be fair and asked for only a portion of the shipping to be refunded and she refused. Lastly, when they did the refund I was under refunded. They never sent an itemized receipt of the transactions and if I hadn't done the math I would have been duped AGAIN. Poor business all around in my opinion. I get that companies make mistakes, but right your wrongs! read more

These guys are amazing. I needed carpet, and I was in a rush. I went in and found exactly what I wanted, they scheduled me the next day, and by noon I was good to go. It looks great, and it is for an Air BnB, and since replacing the carpet, I have gotten only 5 stars. Thank you, North Coast Floor and Tile. I would never use anyone else. read more

So my task was much different and smaller than most, but they were top notch at every level; customer service, quality, and overall professionalism were outstanding. Thank you for everything you did for me North Coast Tile. Christmas was great because of your help! read more

Purchased engineered flooring here. The sales associates were very helpful and quite knowledgeable and they made taking multiple flooring samples home a breeze. The product is truly excellent--my installer was impressed with it and it really improved the look for my kitchen and mud room--I'm over the top happy. If you are new to this (as I was), it's very important to understand what you are ordering. Make sure the staff knows your needs thoroughly because they don't know what you don't tell them. In summary, professional, friendly staff with great products and service. read more

We had this company come replace some tile work in our dinning area and are pleased with their work. With Covid, they wore masks and were very pleasant employees. We highly recommend them. read more

These guys were insanely loud working in a residential neighborhood, during the week at 9 pm. Not only is this unprofessional , but also violates the sound ordinance. They refused to keep the noise level down when asked and basically told me to call the cops. I would never hire this unprofessional and inconsiderate company for any job. read more

Shelley A. From start to finish, the service was responsive and timely, incredibly helpful and superb. Then during install time, the installers went above and beyond to make everything look how I liked it. They even tore up some tiles, and did a lot of extra work, to replace a few I did not like! Jason Jordan and Kerry McNally did everything possible to assist me with me with this project including working with the cabinet makers and other contractors. I truly cannot say enough good things about these people: Jason, Kerry and the two helpful, friendly and wonderfully skillful installers, Stephan and Jonathan. They did a beautiful job. read more

North Coast contracted with me to install Coretec and Shaw carpet my 20 year old house, during the process of installation I ask them to help me update my 2 bath/shower enclosures with floor to ceiling tile. North Coast designed, demoed, refurbished & installed new tile for 2 showers with updated contemporary designed that turned the bathrooms into show rooms. They did everything including all preparation, plumbing and fixture installation. North Coast is a complete turnkey operation from design to process completion. I can not say enough about the office people and their ability to help you visualise your project. The expertise and professionalism of the craftsmen and installers and there respect for your home is really first class! The best news is they are fair and competitive priced. We just had our bathrooms re-tiled by North Coast Floor and Tile. From the moment we walked into their establishment until the time the installer had finished the job, we were treated with courtesy, professionalism, and care. The job they did for us was not just good, but perfect, and the installer stayed well after dark because, as he said, "I want to finish this project for you so that you can use your bathrooms, and I want to do it right." This company has my full vote of confidence, and I look forward to their installing our new carpet in the spring. read more

Would of given a 5 but I'm not that happy with wall boarder strip..other then that great helpful employees.

I am sharing this on behalf of Wildberries Marketplace in Arcata. We have always had positive and valuable service from Carpet Express and have used them exclusively over the years whenever we have flooring concerns and/or needs. We recently worked with Carpet Express for a major renovation job in our Deli and Meat Departments and coordinated a ONE DAY project so that we would have minimum downtime due to the loss of sales with having to close these two areas of our operation for the flooring replacement work. Carpet express came through big time and overcame significant obstacles to ensure that their work was completed in time for us to restock these two areas of our store and be up and running while missing only the one day in sales. Every objective was met and their work was of the highest quality leaving nothing to chance nor anything in less than stellar condition. This was an expensive and challenging one day project and Carpet Express approached with commitment and dedication to providing the highest quality of service and expertise. We highly recommend this company from their years of tremendous service to our store, and this latest project not only confirmed what we already had experienced but took their reputation to a whole new level with their unstoppable and dedicated crew. read more

Carpet Express delivers 5 star service from start to finish. We called a couple flooring companies for estimates, Carpet Express was the only company that seemed to want our business, they came and measured the house (showed up on time), we met with Enrique & Miranda in their showroom and the spent hours helping us make the right choice on our new laminate flooring a carpet, they also offer 0% interest financing which is awesome! We scheduled for a few weeks out due to the holidays, Jason delivered the flooring a few days before the install and walked us through the entire installation process. My wife and I had to work when the guys were going to show up to start the job, but we fully trusted Carpet express to be in our home without us. Stefan, Chris & David spent the next 3 days installing the new flooring. Not only did these guys do an amazing job, they were friendly ,professional and cleaned up after themselves! It is hard to find a good company like Carpet Express in Humboldt County, I highly recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Thanks again guys! Keep up the good work! read more
