I called Lindstrom off a Google search and got a hold of Leonard and he came within a day to give me a full quote. He was very nice and very understand of our situation. I got a second quote from another firm that I have used before, and it was considerably higher in cost. I decided to go with Lindstrom and I am so thankful that I did. He kept his word and promised me he would start and get the job done by the end of June and he certainly did. His crew was very nice and courteous and kept the site clean. They poured an accessible walkway from our front door to the back of our business in less than a week. Our visitors now are able to access our backyard with ease. We highly recommend this firm.

Professional, detail oriented, friendly, and thorough are words that describe the entire Curb Appeal crew. We look forward to having them out to complete our future projects. The space went from ugly and outdated to modern and beautiful thanks to their hard work and careful attention to details. Blaine Jr. took the time to thoroughly understand our long term project needs, in addition to the basement renovation we were focused on last year. Once under contract, he was always responsive and on top of things as we got ready to start the project and once it was underway. Blaine Sr. was always friendly, helpful, and professional, as were the rest of the crew. We plan to have Curb Appeal continue to be our contractor of choice for virtually any home improvement project that is too big to handle ourselves. The fact that all of the above is true despite the project occuring during the first part of the Covid nightmare only solidifies my opinion. This crew is rock solid.

I waited years to post this review to see if I would feel better about it. I do not. Blaine Jr comes through and does a long winded presentation that makes you feel like the company will be professional. I needed my sunroom roof redone since it was leaking. In actuality, the whole sunroom probably needed to be replaced. The sunroom was switched from glass to plastic per my request. He told me during our long meeting that I would be able to discuss it more when the crew came in. I came home and they had already started and no discussion was had with me about anything. I figured they knew what they were doing so I just went with it. The next day I came home and there was double the amount of support beams that blocked out a good amount of sun. I found this odd as the plastic is significantly lighter than the glass that was previously there. I feel like he forgot he was using plastic and planned it for the glass. I paid for more wood that wasn't needed and the sunroom does not look as good with all the extra beams. It also started to leak within a couple months again and the crew had to come back out and fix it. They changed it up a little and added weather strip that looks forever to come in. I'm a few years out now and the sunroom is leaking again and every time I look at how many beams there are up there I'm upset again about the whole thing. I should have waited and replaced the entire sunroom and gone with someone else. On top of it, I felt like Blaine Jr was dismissive, condescending, and kind of a know it all. I had to request to not speak to him anymore and did all ongoing discussions with the lead instead. On a side note... the crew was very nice and did their best.

We discussed our expectations/ desires from a solar array, and he provided us with a first-hand understanding of what solar power could and could not do for our household. He adjusted our expectations for a solar array. Alchemy provided a very clear and specific written quote that identified the quantity, brand, and type of each component. The quote included the work to be performed and even spelled out what was not included per our conversations. Amy communicated clearly about timelines, paperwork needed from us, and when the team would be on site. The team arrived on time and were always professional and friendly. No tricks, no gimmicks, no pressure- they listened to us and our needs and delivered a product that met our needs and exceeded our expectations. The Plexiglass made the sunroom almost unusable on sunny days because it became unbearably hot in there. We talked to several contractors. Travis installed a beautiful cedar ceiling. It looks a thousand times better than the old Plexiglass, and now the temperature in the sunroom is comfortable, even on warm sunny days. On Point was very easy to work with. If Seth says they'll be there, they are, and he answers calls very promptly. Highly recommend.

They communicate very effectively and meet your needs. Their prices are not the lowest but neither are they the highest. They do wonderful work at perfectly reasonable prices and won't try to sucker their clients. Here is a sample of what we have had them do and it just keeps growing... Shawn resolved an electrical problem in three minutes that other electricians were estimating would take days. Shawn put in railings for our stairs and made a gorgeous mantle for our fireplace. Shawn also put up security lights for us. Shawn and Ryan replaced two broken down old windows with great new ones that are energy efficient. Shawn built a fantastic custom closet and laundry room cabinets for us that make the laundry room much more pleasant to be in and very functional and adjustable. We even had them build us a custom captains bed frame for my 6'8" tall hubby with storage drawers. Currently Shawn is repairing my Mom's back door and our gate that broke in the wind yesterday and tomorrow he'll be coming back to discuss a patio and garage project as well as fix some smoke alarms. I wish Shawn had been our home inspector because he immediately saw the issues we discovered only after we moved in. So now we are using his skills and knowledge to make our family homes better. They are great around kids too (an important thing for parents of small ones to note). I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.

I found Travis through the Yelp "My projects" section where I was trying to find a contractor to help us fix a leak in our guest bedroom. We couldn't find where the leak was coming from and I was trying to get price estimates from different contractors to solve the problem. Most of the contractors said they couldn't give a real estimate till they started doing the full project which seemed understandable. What stood out about Travis though is that he made the effort to say for $100 he would assess the issue by cutting out a piece of my drywall and give me a proper estimate. My fiancé and I were on board and happy to see someone take initiative like Travis. Travis then went on to find a pinhole leak in one of our old copper pipes and he right away gave us an estimate that was much more reasonable than other contractors we spoke with. Travis went on to fix our leaky pipes and found out that we replaced the wrong pipe. There was a pipe above the one we saw that was actually the cause of the leak. Travis messaged me and said that he would only charge for the additional pieces (no additional labor for his work), which was super generous and understanding of him. We got this repair done and out of the way in an efficient manner thanks to Travis' diligence. My fiance and I are now having Humboldt Renovation help us replace carpet in our house for "hardwood" vinyl, replacing our shower, and putting in a new dryer vent. I additionally want to add that I has also asked him to replace both of our garage door openers which we signed up to do and later on found out it was covered through our home warranty program. Even though I already signed for Travis to do the work, he was very understanding and let us get the repair done instead by our home warranty service. Humboldt Renovation and Design will be the only contractor we will be using around our house. He is a great person with a sweet family and does great work. Thank you Travis!!!

Tomas Salinas, the owner of Heartwood, is a perfectionist when it comes to construction, and it was obvious that he took great pride in the finished product. He added special touches that weren't in the original contract, such as copper flashing in the chimney and attractive bases for the outdoor lighting fixtures. The subcontractors were among the best. Tomas made sure that the construction site was organized and cleaned up each day.
