That's when I turned to Yelp! After calling around the area for varying estimates and getting the song and dance that usually goes with repair shops, I decided to give Mike a call at First Choice. He was friendly and able to give me a ballpark estimate, but didn't promise anything until inspecting the vehicle. After inspecting the vehicle, he was able to diagnose the problem and then ordered the correct part. No pushy up-selling or scare tactics either. Before I knew it, my car was repaired and I was ready to get back on the road and back to work. I felt that I also paid a more than fair price for the repairs as well. Hands down I'd recommend Mike for any repairs that you may need for your vehicle. I'll make sure I call him first before considering elsewhere.

I've concluded that the price was cheap only to be told by the receptionist a week later they don't charge for diagnostic. BEWARE! As a small business owner myself I would never not charge for my time, even if I'm only looking at the situation. If they don't valve their time to look at your vehicle or any equipment then what is their incentive to give you an honest and thorough report, which they also did not due. They didn't even take my name and number down. When Enrique is out, nobody has a clue what is going on and you can hear the shop commotion in the background while they talk to you over speaker phone. We took our car in on a Monday and were told the parts would be in on Saturday and to call back on the following Monday. The following Monday came around and we didn't hear back. I then called back on Tuesday and they said they couldn't find the parts locally. Tried to offer more money for shipping or even after-market parts. No luck. Then when I requested the part numbers because I find material for my business in the oddest places, but they couldn't tell me the part numbers because Enrique Is sick! The price might be right, but the service is terrible!

I started to wonder what they were doing with it, maybe they lost it. When they finally said it was ready, there was a large fresh ketchup spill inside. Every time we asked them to fix the big scratch they caused or the broken door they put on, we felt like we were begging for extras. They had also driven it a lot, they put way more miles on it than they told us about. Very untrustworthy, we are not happy with the work they did but there's no way we're taking it back to them.

Well since our truck still had a universal joint in tact they took ours off the truck. Left our damaged reefer at a circleK and still had to call another tow company for help. Best part was....Noone called to notify ANY of this transpired! We had no clue anything happened until our driver was discharged from the hospital. The line items from the tow invoice were outrageous to say the least, especially for the BS charge for storage when we were told we couldn't get the truck off the yard until Monday morning business hours. Saturday afternoon, a 29K tow bill was agreed to verbally on the phone between the owner and our driver (who was standing next to the Broome tow driver) bc he refused talking directly to the owner of the truck for whatever ridunkulous reason. Wait theres more! Wouldn't you know, come Monday morning....40K NOT 29K later...we were able to bring the truck and trailer (pulled separately might I add) home. So here's the warning folks: after reviewing each line item we were invoiced for, ive decided there is a special place in hell for people like them. Just make sure if it's necessary to be serviced by Broome Service Center, ask ahead of time for a lube job so your rear end isn't hurting like ours You've been warned!!
