Excellent pizzeria in Quebec City serving authentic yet creative pies in a cozy, welcoming setting…read morewith genuinely pleasant service. We loved the Buffalo Margherita++ and N'duja -- a perfect contrast between a beautifully executed classic and something spicy, sweet, meaty, and packed with flavor. The crust was textbook: light and airy with just the right amount of chew and char. And definitely save room for the house tiramisu. We absolutely devoured it -- creamy, bittersweet, perfectly moist, with just a hint of alcohol. One of the highlights of the meal. They also serve local Quebec wines and were great at recommending pairings to complement our food, which was a really nice touch. Highly recommend Nina for a relaxed, delicious Italian meal in Quebec City.

I like to either use a knife and fork or fold it then eat it. It's meant to be soft in the middle (focus is on the flavor) and the crust is supposed to be chewy. Just a little chewy. We ordered the pizza burrata mortadella e pesto and la Barcelona. Both items were excellent. I really enjoyed the pesto, herbs, and mortadella. The Barcelona was equally as good with the chorizo iberico and the manchego cheese. Honesty, this would be a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. However, the service on 9/18/26 after 8:30 pm was very slow. It took her awhile just to come back and take our order (I wanted to place my order ASAP because they close at 10 pm). Then again when we needed a box and our check. I didn't like that our waitress mostly disappeared. I understand this is common among French Canadian and European culture. This is a cultural difference. I'll still give a 4 out of 5.

It was 30 outside but for some reason they had the patio doors opened so inside felt like outside. I feel bad for the staff and customers because it was as so warm outside. The food was okay but the service was terrible. I blame it on the kitchen staff and expediters. The meals came out at different times, and some people at our table were done with their meal while others were still waiting for their mains. How is that possible?? The person who got a falafel bowl had to wait the longest! Fried chic peas took longer than my veal and when they brought the falafel bowl they left the paper ticket in the bowl. So unprofessional. Justine our server was apologetic and offered a free dessert but we were not in the mood. She tried her best and was great but the kitchen staff and management (!not closing the patio doors) let her down. It was 1.5/5 experience, only because Justine tried so hard to make it positive.

Very cool atmosphere. Seems like it would be a fun place to hang out for some drinks but the food…read morehas a lot to be desired. Ordered the chicken sandwich and it was OK. The steak fites was horrible. Bad cut of meat. Kids chicken nuggets were literally frozen. Dinosaur nuggets. They had Frank's hot sauce on the table but it was definitely not Frank's in the! The only way I would go back was for some drinks to hang out.

This place is one of the reasons I like Québec so much!…read more Deep dish pizza omg so good. It's where they layer on the meat in thin slices so you can see it in a cross-section of each slice. Yeah, there's the tangy sauce at the bottom and no bare spots, No! it's a substantial amount so no unpleasant dryness ensues. Then there is a layer of meat, and I got a couple meats to make sure I got my protein in, one of which was Montreal smoked meat, oh boy it's so good! Then comes the melted cheese on top, and an overall garnishing of peppers or what-have-you veggie-wise on top of all that. I usually refer this style of pizza as Greek-style rather than Italian-style, which is what we usually get in Toronto. From what I've experienced, the Greek-style pizza is more popular across Canada compared to Toronto's own penchant for the Italian thin-crust style of 'za. The last time I went to Mélimélo, I was staying up the street at the cutest cheap motel ever! This time I was camping out nearby, but both times I indulged in one of these pies and enjoyed every bit of it. Check out my pics and see how it is over an inch thick. If you order one, keep that in mind as you don't need the usual large pizza for yourself, which is normally mostly crust. These pies are more like lasagna where there is depth rather than breadth to it, and each bite counts! Unbelievably good the next morning for breakfast, cold form the fridge with none of that dry burnt crustiness that makes half the pizza inedible. Enjoy the rest with a cold beer for lunch, and the fun never stops!

Our hostess was also a bartender, and server. Everyone out her in to do whatever they had to to make the guests happy and everyone surely seemed to be! We ordered a margherita pizza with extra cheese (which was a fresh burrata ball) and Caesar. Both were delicious! Make a reservation if you can during the busy season (we were here in October). Per the staff, November is slow, but December is insanely busy. But it's worth the wait if you have to stand in line waiting a table. Shout out to Catherine, Marianne, Matis, Annabelle, & Thalia!!! Loved them! Their smiles and great attitude made the wait worth it!

My non-dairy cheese was excellent. Nice and melty and went perfectly with the flavor and freshness of the tomato sauce. One kiddo had a loaded pizza, the other cheese. All were very good but the crust could have been a bit crispier to help support the ingredients. The lasagna was good but nothing extraordinary. Reservations are recommended. The place is small and fills up quickly. Wait at the door and staff will come seat you. Please note, the outdoor seating area does have different operating hours than the interior seating.
