NoriFish is a great spot to get your omakase fix at a decent price (standard for $115 and premium for $170). The waitresses were very attentive, making sure that we had enough water and explained each piece of the omakase menu as they served it to us. We sat at the bar so we could watch the chefs create each piece which is always entertaining. They did not lay each piece in front of us, rather they had the waitresses serve it to us in 5 courses. The first seasonal sashimi was a great start. For the first set of 3 piece nigiri, the fish tasted great but a bit on the saucier side compared to what I'm used to. The yuzu flavor really packed a punch in the madai. The second set of nigiri was my favorite, with the chutoro standing out. The third set was also good, with the sake as the stand out. I loved the last set for its creativity, with the soup warming my soul. Overall, this is a great spot if you like flavorful nigiri. The service was amazing and parking is indeed extended for free at the restaurant.

Came for a special occasion celebration for the first time to the spot and it did not disappoint. They are a good spot for all things sushi and fish. They are actually especially known for their omakase pairings. We tried the omakase and were deliciously surprised by the quality of the food and the variety of the food. The service is excellent and the staff is very attentive. They have their own parking lot and it's very well connected to public transit too. Definitely stop by here for special occasions or just for the love of omakase. We tried the regular omakase and it came with different dishes and each of them were perfectly done. The lichi martini is also very well balanced and stiff.

Food first, thoughts later... This was mine and my husband's first omakase experience. It was truly phenomenal. The staff were very knowledgable and friendly. The ingredients were all so fresh and I love the flavors and textures. Each piece was decorated towards perfection and I appreciated that very much. We got the premium omakase.

Came here for the omakase to celebrate my belated birthday and balled out. No notes. Just pure perfection. Everything from the presentation, the fish, the service--just awesome. The place wasn't pretentious; it actually felt like a standard sushi place at first. But no, the quality of the fish and the wagyu was sooooo high grade. I don't know much about grades of fish and wagyu, but you know when you eat something and there's just a subtle fresh flavor. just had amazing quality fish. BF and I sat at the bar and watched everyone work their magic. My favorite was the otoro (fatty tuna).

Having gone to multiple omakase places both in and outside of Atlanta, my husband and I wanted to just spend whatever we would have spent on omakase but just ordering whatever we wanted. We went with 2 other friends where we split the small plates and just ordered whatever nigiri pieces we wanted. The quality of the fish was amazing and each of the pieces were flavored in a way that made you appreciate it. Great place to go if you want to splurge and have a very nice meal. Small plates: all of them were excellent - Chu Toro and Quail Egg Toast: medium fatty tuna, nikiri, sunny side up quail egg, truffle aioli, pecorino romano. - Yuzu Ponzu Oysters: half dozen oysters, yuzu honey ponzu, blood orange, serrano relish - Crab OshiZushi: crab, sushi rice, avocado cream, lemon aioli, niki, rice pearls, roasted garlic salt, chive Sushi: the price comes with 2 nigiri pieces - Madai: sea brea, sudachi, yuzu sal, ginger - Kinmedai: golden eye snapper, yuzu, pink salt, shallot oil - Kanpachi: young yellowtail, yuzu wasabi dressing, nikiri, nori dust, chive - Chu Toro: nikiri, truffle aiol, garlic salt, crispy shallot - Otoro: blue fin tuna belly, nikiri, truffle salt, caviar - Hotate: seared scallop, lime, nori aioli, orange zest, pink salt - Uni: sea urchin, nikiri, toasted nori, chive To give an idea, the price of at least 22 pieces of nigiri (lost count lol) + splitting the small plates + 1 cocktail tax/tip was $352 for 2 people

Came back 2 years later and the food is just as amazing if not better. We did the KATAYABURI OMAKASE this time and it was the perfect amount of food. Everything was super fresh and tasted delicious. My husband is not a fan of the uni so the chef switched it to a tuna, which he loved. Chef Calvin was super friendly and very personable. Our server was warm and sweet. We had a 5:45PM reservation and sat at the bar. When we walked in, there were a few tables. Atmosphere was inviting and intimate. By the time we left, the place was full, but it didn't feel crowded. We loved our experience and will be visiting again. Hopefully they open a location in Alpharetta soon!

Y'all. Y'ALL. I knew this was gonna be good when our Uber driver had no idea where his GPS was taking us, but I wasn't ready for just how good. I was in Atlanta for a few days. Eight of us decided at 7pm one night to try to grab a sushi reso - the restaurant was super gracious and accommodating and got us a table at 8pm! We were a group of big sushi addicts and decided to jump in on the omakase. This was nerve-wracking for me because I'm a control freak and I have food allergies but I let Sushi Jesus take the wheel. Tuna and yellowfish are my favorites so the menu was absolute fire for me. Every course was better than the last until we hit this insane tuna trio that literally rendered every single person mute, it was so good. I was sitting among friends from Seattle and Manhattan who are known and proud food snobs who reject most anything we've fed them in the southeast, but all of them rated NoriFish a top 3 sushi experience for them. I have only had omakase one other time and it was at the Vegas Nobu during the Super Bowl, so I figured it was something I'd never have at that echelon again but damned if lil NoriFish wasn't better tasting across the board! The only miss for me was the very very very pungent consommé course, but fortunately my buddy loved it so much that he traded me his matcha "sundae" and a future round draft pick for my consommé - win. We also found our favorite rice beer on tap, so was a great experience in every category (except I think I lost my favorite leopard gloves there and that's very sad).

Norifish stays on top of my list of best Japanese spots! This was my 3rd time coming back for my best friend's birthday in January (and we came back again in April for mine) and it still remains incredible in taste, quality, and service. Food: - Fresh, no fishy smell (of course), and perfectly complementary flavors. - Each course progressively gets better than the last once, which they masterfully curated so make sure you listen to the wait staff's recommendations of where to start (usually from left to right). - Norifish has my favorite kind of real wasabi (not green horseradish) -- kizami (or pickled). It comes complimentary unlike other places that only give you fresh wasabi for an additional fee, and it's so addicting! - You will be full by the end of the dining experience! Drinks: - Always gotta order a lychee martini at Norifish! Light and delicious but still packs a punch. Service: - The staff are friendly and accommodating! Ambiance: - Not an overly stuffy place so you can kick back and enjoy yourself (but of course, remain courteous to others around you!) - If you're wanting omakase without brushing elbows with your neighbor, this is the place for you! Most omakase places can be very intimate so if you have social anxiety, it can be a bit daunting. At Norifish, you don't have to worry about that. You can have omakase either at the bar or your own table for privacy.

Incredible! Thank you for the very fair prices, incredible ambiance and delicious food! It tasted so fresh I want to come in every day. Great service too. Standard omakase was a lovely birthday treat. Good work NoriFish!

I have been going here once a week for the last year and half. This is the best omakase you can get in Atlanta, hands down. The moment you walk in, you are greeted and the entire staff is kind. You can see all the chefs freshly working on your food, should you choose to sit there. Ambiance is serene and classy. The owner is a great guy!!

Heard great things about this place! Great omakase at its price point and you are actually full after. Seems like there are a lot of citrus elements so just fyi if you are or aren't into that. All fish was so tender and fresh. We got the standard omakase at $110/pp. Last course has some rice so we were quite full after that. Dessert not bad, but would have liked red bean to go with the matcha ice cream rather than chocolate for a more classic pairing. Couldn't take too many pictures bc I was too busy eating! Service is great and looking forward to taking friends here someday.

We didn't have a reservation and decided to take a chance walking in. They were able to squeeze us in luckily for a quick omakase. Norifish is very trendy and fun place to take out of town guests or impress your date! I was looking forward to more of a "traditional" omakase where the chef prepares each piece at a time but NoriFish serves a few pieces at a time; it makes sense given how intricate each of their pieces are. The fish is very fresh and the flavors are delicious. I do wish they included a few pieces that didn't have all the extra flavors so that the quality of the fish could really shine through instead of getting drowned out by all the toppings and flavors. Overall, this was a great omakase experience but definitely a less "traditional" omakase with more toppings on each piece.

Norifish is an omakase roll model! Last week I made by way to Sandy Springs and got treated to the decadent premium omakase experience from Norifish! It is exquisite. They offer this premium experience, as well as a regular omakase, a la carte dishes, and a full bar! It's SOY good! Take my favorite plate of the night, Chutoro uzura toast! It is beautifully charred toro with a decadent quality egg, creamy sauce, creamy sharp pecorino Romano and an earthy truffle oil. Or don't miss their A5 Wagyu sushi is so tender it melts in your mouth, earthy truffle pate, savory cured egg, topped with roasted garlic salt and a hint of ginger. My favorite sips included the First greetings, a cool cucumber and Ketel one vodka cocktail with a hint of mint and sweet yuzu. Or the Norifish old fashioned, a boozy Japanese whiskey with some delicious sweetness on the back for balance! My favorite bites of the rest of the experience includes the Chu-toro sushi. It is seared tuna with tangy nikiri, garlicky salt and crunchy shallots. While the OToro sushi is hearty and tender tuna belly with earthy truffle and topped with caviar gives it a pop of salt. One of my favorites was the Sake. Amazing! Seared salmon with Crunchy garlic tons of flavors from umami aioli to chili ponzu! But my favorite of the sushi is the Harami. Epic seared salmon belly, hints of garlic and crunchiness on top. Of the appetizers, the Salmon belly was my favorite behind the toast. It is very tasty dish stuffed with bold flavors, quail egg, salmon belly that's tender and delicious and topped with a citrus vinaigrette! The service is impeccable, and the ambiance is cozy and clean. I don't know why they are not Michelin recommended.

And then I just received a roll at a time, which isn't the end of the world, but I like to eat from each roll and compare / go back and forth. I shared four rolls with a friend - Georgia Crunch, Salmon Tempura, Energy, and Braves. I thought Georgia Crunch was just alright. Salmon Tempura roll was pretty spicy and very good. The Energy was very yummy and the Braves was really good, just note that it's five very large pieces (circumference-wise). My gf got a hibachi dish which she said was different then any hibachi she's had but enjoyed it. It didn't come with enough rice though. A couple weeks ago, I figured I'd give them another chance and ordered takeout. I got the Alaskan and Hawaiian rolls. They were both ok, very fresh but kind of bland. They didn't give me the spicy mayo that comes on the Hawaiian roll, which was very disappointing. Also one is listed as having "crab stick" and the other "crab meat," but they both came with crab stick. If a roll has crab stick in it, that's what should be listed! Even if that's what's meant by crab meat, they should be consistent when listing what's in each roll. My gf got the same hibachi dish, and it was fine but they only gave her a tiny scoop of rice. There is no reason to skimp on rice! The prices are comparable to other sushi spots but I don't think I'm going to go back again.

There were groups of people who ent I early, so I thought I'd see I asked the host and he said they do open at 11:45, but they were open and took me to a table. The waitress was prompt to take my drink order and was welcoming. It'd been years since I've gone as I live in Duluth and don't get there often. I was there for the sushi so I headed straight to that section. Since it was early, the sushi looked fresh and had detailed signs of what each rolls or nigiri had. One thing I noticed, the pieces were much smaller than what I remembered. The fish was thinly sliced, so it seemed that two pieces were the equivalent to one piece at other sushi places. I got my plate of sushi and then went o get a plate of the salads and cold vegetables. The presentation of each salad was nice when they are first put out. I did go look to see what hot foods were available but decided to wait until I finished my sushi and salads. Once finished, I did go back to the hot dishes. I was pretty full by then, but thought I'd try a few dishes. The steamed fish was gone as well as some of the other dishes, so I thought I'd try only a very few dishes---bulgogi, jap chae, and a battered sweet chicken. I bit into the chicken and it was cold! This was a dish that was on the steam table. The bulgogi and jap chae were so so. When I looked at the chicken dumplings and shu Mai, they looked dry and over steamed. Unappetizing in my opinion. The overall atmosphere was comfortable and the wait staff were bustling with clearing the plates as well as refilling the hot tea. I was actually surprised when I got the bill. It was $20.99 before tax for lunch. I thought that was the old price when I was on the website. But that seems to be cheaper than other sushi buffets in the area. I don't think they impose a time limit and they don't tell you that you have to finish what you get before you can get another plate. I'll go again because I love sushi!

I got the everything croissant with scallion crème. I didn't really taste or see anything "everything" about it. Afterwards we moved to the resturant to try the food. The servers were wonderful and friendly, food came out fast. We ordered a few temakis and 2 appetizers. Both were tasty and fresh, we didn't get soy or wasabi with our "rolls" which is I thought how they wanted to enjoy them, but turned out we just weren't offered any soy as I saw another couple get their condiments. Despite that the rolls were good without. The resturant is clean and love the open layout. We enjoyed sitting at the bar watching the chef make the temaki.
