Unfortunately, after meeting with a representative to review the scope of the project, we never received any follow-up or a quote. During that time, I began receiving a series of marketing emails about why LRL would be a great company to work with, which I didn't mind while I was waiting for the estimate. However after that, I started receiving emails stating that I had chosen to move in a different direction and that I should consider them for a future project. The confusing part is that we never made that decision. we were waiting to hear back. I was genuinely interested in working with them, but it ultimately felt like the company chose not to move forward with us.

The scope of the project was extensive: all new semi custom cabinets, a new island, and new perimeter countertops, along with a complete replacement of our appliances some of which we wanted flush mounted (easier said than done). One of the trickier pieces was retrofitting a range hood, which added a fair amount of complexity to the install, but the team handled it without missing a beat. What really set this project apart was the level of coordination among everyone involved. Every craftsman on the job communicated clearly with one another, and just as importantly, Joe stayed in steady contact with my wife and me throughout the process. That kind of teamwork kept the project moving efficiently from start to finish, with minimal delays and no surprises. Even when we were out of town for part of the renovation, we never felt out of the loop as Joe sent regular updates with photos and progress notes, so we always knew exactly where things stood. The end result is a kitchen that's both beautifully finished and highly functional, and the process to get there was refreshingly smooth. If you're considering a kitchen remodel, don't hesitate to reach out to JR's, you'll be in good hands from demo day to final walkthrough.

My number one priority when looking for contractors was clear communication in all aspects of the project, and I'm very happy to report that Lion Group Construction did not disappoint. I came in with a vision and budget in mind, and Udi helped me figure out what was actually feasible, what would put me way over budget, and suggestions to work around the limitations of our space. When the team hit roadblocks during construction due to past owners' questionable DIY methods and the age of the home, they were quick to text/call and let me know what was up, how they planned to deal with it, and always waited for confirmation from me before proceeding with anything that would differ from the original plan we'd made. If I had questions or noticed small details that I wanted to change in the midst of the work, they responded quickly and kindly. I was never worried that I would be ghosted or ignored, or that the work would be delayed as the project went on, which I know is something that unfortunately happens to many homeowners!! I'm grateful to Lion Group Construction for alleviating much of the stress of a big reno (the decision fatigue was real) and transforming the bathroom from a dank and dim space into the calming, well-lit one of my dreams. Again, thank you, thank you, thank you!

We had a complicated situation since we were gutting and redoing a condo in Walnut Creek, while we were living in LA part of that time. Shawn worked at record speed getting permits, ordering materials, and communicating with us on hundreds of details. He uses high quality vendors and when we were in town, we were able to visit the carpet supplier, the workshop of the custom cabinet maker and the warehouse of stone to pick out stones for kitchen and bathrooms. Shawn always offered a range of options from less to more expensive. Shawn has a wonderful flare for design and helped us pick out furniture, fixtures etc and stopped us when we were going in the wrong direction. Yet he respected our sensibility and vision. He worked feverishly to get us into our house. His crew was working in a community with many rules and we were told repeatedly by neighbors how polite and respectful his crew was. Shawn was accessible and responded quickly to calls, often answering himself. He gave us an estimated time of completion and met it. He turned somersaults trying to meet the deadline. We came in on the original estimate. any additional costs were due to upgrades at our request. The quality of the work was outstanding. We have been in the house 3 weeks and can appreciate the excellence. Finally, we truly love our house because of the beauty of the design, the stone and woodwork that feels timeless and the excellence of the work done. Thank you

A thorough search LED us to Shawn and Create Interior Design. He came and met with us several times to explain his process and guide us through the entire project step by step. After the basics had been locked down, it was much easier for us to choose specific tiles, colors and fixtures. The lifelike 3D renderings provided a clear vision of what the finished bathroom would look like, and removed all the guesswork and stress from this project. Shawn provided us with an extremely detailed list of every item and exact cost for the project including scheduling, permits, demo, construction, inspections and every material and fixture. It was clear that we were in experienced and competent hands. We chose to have Shawn and his team handle the project and complete all of the work period his crew was incredible. Each craftsman who worked on different parts of the remodeling was clearly a skilled professional with attention to detail and pride in their workmanship. They accommodated small changes and dealt with unforeseen issues as they occurred. Despite the scale and duration of this total remodel, they kept the work area much cleaner and more organized than we had expected. The finshed result is truly amazing. We now have a totally new bathroom which is the highlight of the entire house. We would highly recommend Create Interior Design and Shawn's thorough approach to designing, documenting, organizing and implementing your home remodeling dream project.

The Scope: Replace toilet, convert old shower-tub combo with walk-in shower, install new dry floor, upgrade electrical, install new vanity light, install new bathroom fan, and repaint bathroom interior. Aaron was the one who gave the estimate and rough outline of project plan. The team then assigned three designers work with us (Paola, Joanna, and Valentina (sp?) and select tiles, colors and layouts. Everyone was in constant communication through group chat. After all the parts and components were ordered by us (Home Depot, Amazon, etc.) and delivered to our home, Y Group set up the project start date. It took about 2 weeks to complete the job. The team put up plastic covers wall-to-wall and floor protection for the whole job. Their price was right in line with other quotes and we chose Y Group based on Aaron's collaborative approach with us. Paola managed the project and was amazing to work with. She was also very collaborative in approach, and met us multiple times in different showrooms to look at options for tiles, cabinets etc. She had great design ideas while also hearing us on our tastes and preferences. Once the project started she regularly checked in on progress, and dealt with the minor issues that always come up with large projects professionally. We went with a custom vanity and linen closet design from Luis and Gervin, cabinet makers they work with regularly -- it looks and feels wonderful and really maximized the usable space vs. commercial options. Walter the foreman did great work throughout, especially with the large 24x48" tiles. These are hard to work with, and every joint is perfect. Our small bathroom needed a lot of thoughtful touches to really come together, and they nailed it -- the design has really transformed the space. I highly recommend Y Group Remodeling!
