Luke with NorCal repaired my stove today. The with Beacon appliance man created a second problem before he left. Beacon never answered my phone call. As a result I went to there office at 3:15pm.Their office was all locked up. Their business hours online says one thing And online says another business time. I started this issue 2 weeks ago. Sent a recognition out 5 times to repair my dishwasher and after they broke the housing that the motor comes in, they wrote a report with only half truth about codes plumbing, so my insurance American Home Shield denied the repair because it was Norcal Repair's mistake when a piece of plastic ended up in the new motor they refuse to make it right. It said I needed an air gap instead of an S hose. They left that code completely out their service report. Chris was really rude and said he came up here for nothing when he found a piece of plastic that had broken off from the motor housing and blamed it on the previous technician. And then furthermore, he lied and said there was debris in the hose when my Plumber had recently cleaned it. read more

My oven stopped working and I called NorCal Repair primarily due to the last couple of good reviews. I was told that there would be a $75 service call fee. The technician Chris came to my home and promptly diagnosed the issue and made the repair with a $130 part. After he left, I more closely examined my invoice and found not one, but 2 $75 charges! Thinking there must be a mistake, I called the office to question the charges. The receptionist then explained to me the 2nd $75 charge was a "diagnostic" charge. I usually don't give reviews, but my wife and I are so very pleased with NorCal Repair Services. Our refrigerator in the garage was having some real issues. Because of my past negative experiences with some local repair companies, I was not hopeful for my refrigerator. Chris from NorCal did a thorough diagnosis and found the problem, and fixed it. I now have a fully functioning refrigerator. Yeah !! Chris also gave us some great tips on the best way to care for our two upright freezers and two refrigerators. We could tell, after seeing Chris work and the advice he shared with us, that he is very smart and has a lot of hands-on experience with all kinds of appliances. We will DEFINITELY call NorCal in the future if we are having problems with any of the many things that they repair. Very poor experience, was charged for a diagnosis and repair and my freezer still doesn't work, now they want to charge me more money to come back out? I don't understand why I would be charged more money when the technician didn't fix it correctly the first time. I will just be going somewhere else, and I suggest you do the same. read more

They came out to fix my freezer I paid and it is still not fixed. They are now saying I have to pay again. Why? I already paid. You did not complete the service. Nor Cal Repair answered my call and showed up the next day, Chris had to order parts so the work hasn't been finished yet. Chris was sure we would be able to cook our Thanksgiving turkey in it. If there is any problem with delivery of the parts it wouldn't be Nor Cal fault. That's my opinion not Nor Cal's. read more

Don't ever use this company!! You will regret it!! Chris Traetz is a very dishonest person. He broke my thermostat in front of me and said it was just old. He kept pressing the thermostat button trying to have the heat switch to cool and not wait until it was done with the heat. He kept pressing the button hard and I saw my thermostat tilt sideways and I told him he was pressing too hard and when he took off his finger off, the button sunk in. He then pulled it off the wall and with his pocket knife he tried pulling it out but actually broke the inside and the button fell off. His excuse was that it was old. He honestly doesn't know what he is doing. My house is not that old and I lived in older home with still the original thermostat. He obviously did not want to replace because his mistake was expensive to fix. I called another company to come out and they told me that it was not old and the button would not break like Chris Traetz said. That is why I say he is a very dishonest man.
