I got an email shortly after the inquiry was sent to come in and chat more about my project. From the initial meeting with Inti, at the front sales, my impression of the shop was that they were very trustworthy from their overall knowledge, recommendations and experience. Inti even pulled out a sample tire from inside the shop up to my truck so I can get a better visual of what my project may look like. April 28, 2026 and I have been stopping every month or so for 6+ months to have an OBDII scanner…read moreread the progress of my 2011 GMC 2500HD Duramax (diesel) resetting/updating so that it can pass a smog check. It failed elsewhere 6+ months ago. In the last 1 year and 3 days I have spent more than $5777 at the dealer because of DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) quality errors and fixes... Why the dealership? Because of the 2 year warranty. The DEF smog equipment is a sore subject that is NOT related to this business. At Premium Auto Repair Center, once I explained what I was going through and showing over 1/4" of invoices, they gladly took the time to check the OBD and share the results with me each time I stopped in/by. A shout out to the owner and all employees for your assistance and today it passed the smog check. As a side note, to avoid high emission output the ECU/ECM limits the truck to 55 mph and then limits the truck to 4 mph (so it can be loaded on a flatbed tow truck)... This state is a joke!
