This has been a long time coming... I started going to this shop because I linked up with @dyno_mike415 on Instagram to get my bike tuned. What I liked about Mike was he advised me that he can tune for performance but he much better prefers to tune for efficiency (as of course we aren't at WOT all the time). I'm running a 2016 FXDLS with a few modifications so I wanted some better performance that wasn't going to leave me super hungry for gas or running too rich or lean. Mike got me squared away and after my first ride, I found some areas (based on my style of riding) where I wanted some corrections. Mike got me in the next week (based on my schedule) and got it all set-up for me. This guy is solid! He takes pride in his work and definitely happy to make corrections because at the end of the day, he wants you, the customer to be happy! It's been a while since I visited a shop in general as of course I've cultivated great relations with my old local shop that I haven't frequented much as of late. Anyhow, as for Norcal this shop brings back my 2011 memories. My first experience with Dudley Perkins was great and welcoming and this is what I get from the folks here. Everyone seems happy to be at work, knowledgeable and quite frankly, they aren't worried about the arbitrary numbers. This team or family rather, cares about the community before the customer acquisition, etc. because they treat everyone like family! This is what it is all about. A community. Motorcycles is a different breed of people and we need more companies like Norcal that understand the community unlike some shops that are all about the bottom line (you know, those are the shops that treat people like machines, dont care for their staff and make comments like "you're on my time here" or "this space belongs to Richard Simmons" (name change for privacy purposes) But I digress! If you're looking for some parts, another scoot or just some good ol' fashion camaraderie this is your spot! These guys will treat you right 100% Oh, definitely dont forget to get that DYNO in too. Ride safe yall and be a family member in this community, Norcal sure is - Noo strangers around here! read more

I decided to purchase a motorcycle and was ready to buy my first bike. Yet, I was very apprehensive about making a purchase being that I had never driven a motorcycle before. This being the case, I was concerned about my safety and also concerned with the safety of other motorist. I had went to several motorcycle shops before going to NorCal Cycles to see what would be a good fit. Yet, none seemed to be the right one. I went to Moto in San Francisco. I went there to shop on three different occasions with money in hand interested in buying a motorcycle and on all three occasions I was not helped upon entering or acknowledged by the seller's and each time I had gone there it was so hot I was compelled to leave. I also went to to a couple other places and received the same or similar treatment. However, when I had gone to NorCal Cycles I was immediately helped at the door and made to feel welcomed and at home. I was given helpful information and the best advice out of all the places I had visited by a guy named Freddie who provided me with assistance regarding which would be the best motorcycle for me and was afforded additional information on motorcycles in general. Freddie slowly walked through the shop while educating me on motorcycles while explaining safety precautions and practices and within minutes I had selected a motorcycle that was perfect. I love my bike and I look forward to seeing them again when I shall make my next purchase. This time, I will invest 10k or better because I am confident that the bike that NorCal Cycles recommend would be a bike that I could depend on for a lifetime. Thanks NorCal Cycles you Rock!!! See you again soon. Michael 'Choice' Hollins read more

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing top-notch motorcycle maintenance and customer service from NorCal Cycles. This company truly stands out because they take care of all types of bikes, not just one specific model. As an owner of an Indian Scout Bobber, I found it challenging to find someone who could properly service my bike. Fortunately, NorCal Cycles came through with flying colors. Their team provided me with a wealth of knowledge and recommendations, ensuring my bike was in the best possible condition. Alfie, in particular, was incredibly helpful. I initially went in for a regular maintenance check up, but glad I did so and met these guys because of my bikes lifespan he suggested that I replace my tires, and I'm so glad I did because they discovered a screw lodged in one of them. Thanks to their diligence, my bike is now safer and more reliable. The prices quoted for both service and parts were very fair and competitive. However, what truly sets NorCal Cycles apart is their exceptional service and personal support. They went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you so much for being on top of everything. You guys are the best! read more

Freddie and the crew at Nor Cal Cycles are fantastic! We have a '24 Trident 600 and a '24 Kawasaki Z125 that NCC's performed Dyno Tuning on a few months back. Right away we noticed increased horse power, particularly on the Z125, but also much better power throughout the entire spectrum of the rev range and across the gearing for both motorcycles. The Z125 went from a top speed of 52-54 mph to being able to hit 60-62 mph now. More importantly, with the Z125, the power through all the gears and across the rev range allows for the bike to perform much better on the hills and twisty roads through the Bay area. For the Trident, the opening up of full power across all the gears and rev range has allowed for the bike's fueling to smooth out, for the quick shifter to be smoother at varied revs, and for bikes ability to move through the gears/rev with real clarity and power - the Dyno really brings out the best properties of that truple engine! Highly recommend, in every way - Nor Cal Cycles did a phenomenal job! read more

I recently had the pleasure of working with Alfred who went above and beyond to accommodate my tire replacement needs. Was impressed with their willingness to work around the fact that my tires were coming in at two different times. The service itself was exceptional as well. They took great care in replacing my tire, and taking the time to explain how to properly break in my tires safely. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the level of service I received. Alfred went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and provided top-notch service from start to finish (even with the challenges I presented him). I would highly recommend NorCal Cycles to anyone in need of tire replacement. read more

I went searching for a bike shortly after moving to the area and couldn't be more pleased with the service i received here. The prices were barely above private party sales and included more maintenance/prep work than most places offer. Freddy was a genuinely nice salesman. He was respectful of what I was interested in and didn't try to sell me up on anything more expensive. After someone bought the original bike I was interested in, he actually pointed me to a cheaper bike that ended up being perfect for what I wanted. I will definitely be returning here for major service on the current bike and for my next purchase read more

Finally doing a short review on this incredible establishment. I've been going here off and on for the past few years and it's my main spot for maintenance and to buy parts. The entire crew are all just solid people and extremely knowledgeable on everything bikes and more! Competitive prices and unmatched quality of work. I've even purchased a Busa from them and that process was stress-free and they worked with me and my situation at all times. Amazing shop and I hope they stay around for years to come! Special shout out to Alfred, Fred, Daniel, Warren and Will, you guys rock! read more

If I listed everything they did right, this review would be a mile long. I was hesitant to sell my bike to a company from out of town since my bike had a loan on it, but trusted all of the other great reviews. They made sure I had all the information I needed to feel comfortable, and took the time to keep updating me even after they had the bike and paperwork. Everyone from the dealership, to the tow truck drivers picking up the bike, were incredibly friendly and professional. I have never sold or bought a vehicle this seamlessly before. Thank you! read more

Henry, Nini, and Freddie at the motorcycle shop were an incredible team! Freddie's warm welcome and expert advice on trying out a Harley before buying, Nini's seamless rental paperwork process and thoughtful follow-up, and Henry's attention to detail in checking the motorcycle and giving a thorough walkthrough truly made my experience at Nor-Cal Cycles exceptional. The shop's dedication to customer service and expertise shines through their fantastic team. Highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for a top-notch motorcycle! read more

NorCal Cycles has an AMAZING assortment of bikes to choose from... Originally, I had my eyes on this BEAUTIFUL Triumph Bonneville.. but it was too flashy for me. I naturally attract attention and don't need the town to know I'm rolling through. Freddie is one of the absolute MOST HELPFUL workers. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND his call of duty for me. I don't want to brag, but I got red carpet service, even as a Skunk! Pee-Ew!! Soon you'll see my fury balls flying in the wind! #SmellMeLater #UncleStinkee read more

Alfred and his crew get the job done right. I have a 95 Harley FLSTN, with a 96" S&S that had been sitting for a while and needed some attention. They rebuilt the carb and replaced the clutch basket. I had them up grade the headlights to TrueBEAM LEDs. Now is runs great and the headlights are bright as day. They got the work done and in a timely fashion. The pricing was fair. You wont be disappointed with the customer service at this shop. I would highly recommend this shop to all riders. read more

Had a fantastic and seamless experience renting from NorCal Cycles. Nini and Henry were especially helpful -- they took the time to understand my needs, recommended the perfect bike for my trip, and walked me through everything thoroughly. The bike was in excellent condition, and it's clear they take great care of their fleet. Overall, a top-notch experience. I'll definitely be coming back. If you're looking for a well-maintained motorcycle and great service, this is the place to go! read more

Its been a while since I've yelp'd about this place so figured I'd give a little update. This place is still awsome and they have expanded and now have a separate parts and service dept, and still have the awsome dyno in the backshop for custom tuning. If you walk into the service side, you will notice a bunch of RC cars and accessories too. Yes you guessed it. They sell nitro and electric RC stuff, low inventory but they can get what you want at a good price. read more

Brilliant service from Nino and the team at Nor Cal Cycles. Bike was in great condition and ready to go as soon as I arrived. Good suggestions as to where I might want to visit and clearly led me through paying the tolls. They even opened up on a Sunday just to let me return the bike. I arrived a little early and they came out especially so that I could return the bike and get to the airport in time for my flight. Great service! read more

Overall great experience! Took my motorcycle in for its first service and the advisor (Freddie) was there to assist me right away. He was very knowledgeable and great at explaining the recommended services. In addition, excellent service from the technician (Eric) who was very fast and experienced, did an excellent job working on my bike, its running great no issues. Highly recommend this place for your service needs! read more

Freddie is the absolute man. He is the sweetest guy. It did not feel like he was trying to overprice me at all. I got the 2016 Honda cbr300r and it has been great to me. The bikes are used but they are all top quality. Good bang for the buck and you won't find a better person to talk motorcycles with than Freddie. Please check him out if you're getting a used/new bike. You won't regret it. read more

2008 Harley Davidson Night Rod Special. By far, the smoothest motorcycle purchase transaction I've had to deal with. Freddie nailed the deal down and had the paperwork all finished within the hour. Very thorough and very reputable. Also, the overall staff is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this shop, especially if you're looking for your next ride. Mahalo! read more

Norcal Cycles is amazing - I told Freddie what I was looking for and he took me to the exactly perfect motorcycle. Absolutely no pressure, just help, information and encouragement. I was all in and the sale procedure was hassle free. Freddie worked with me and I was riding down 101 in no time. I highly recommend doing business with these guys. read more

Just sold my bike through their consignment program while I moved to a different state. Freddie was great with communication and getting the bike out the door. Over the years I've had them do a lot of maintenance work for me. Alfred is great to work with too and does his best to get a fair price. The whole team is knowledgeable and great. read more
