Just finish my appointment with John and today is 05/08/2020. Front and back tires done. What it really amaze me when I first met him just for him to check out my bike (2014 Street Glide) what needs to be done. A simple kindness that he says...do you want something to drink? I'm about to say cold beer please. But it's not the right time to do that. Maybe after work. I had the opportunity to sit back and relax to his back yard keep me cool under his orange trees. Extra mile of doing such good things. Too much to list of what he does this day. Oh well can't let this kindness pass. Even I didn't mention about the horn doesn't work but still he found out it's not working. So he fix it. Another wowww for that. He also ask me if I want to change the air nozzle tube from the back tire because it is straight. It is a lot easier for me to put air on it if it is bended. Another wowww again. Very generous on his knowledge and the guy who will gonna do it right away despite of his busy schedule. There's a lot more to say. John is gonna get a grand slam for this unexpected exceptional service. Go and visit the shop and have a great time.

John is a honest and good person to work with on redoing my bike. He follows up with updates and won't BS you on any charges that is not necessary. Will definitely go back to him for anything in the future.

This place is THE go-to place for custom work done on motorcycles in the Bay Area. John is not only a master at his trade, but also takes plenty of time with you and your bike to make great recommendations about how to make your bike look and run better. He did an amazing job customizing some parts for my 71 Triumph T-120 Bobber/Boardtracker and I couldn't be happier. Don't look any further - this is the place to go for custom work. Make sure to call John in advance to make an appointment, because like anyone that is the best at his trade, he is a busy man! Highly recommend. A++

I was searching for a shop, my softail nostalgia. The head gasket was leaking .l called several bike shops and I was told two wait two weeks.Well two weeks went by and I called again. They said two more weeks. So I Googled and found M1kustoms . I called, John on Thursday night. HE TOLD ME TO BRING ON FRIDAY. So I bought the bike in. When I walked through door I was greeted by John to come in .Well to my surprise this guy not only fixed my bike but he gave me a tee shirt. This guy had the bike ready on Tuesday morning. John is just like everyone else has stated very nice and easy going. He can do it all. And does it with care, efficiency and a timely manner. To sum it up. This shop is the bomb. JOHN IS THE BEST.

I could have bought another bike for around $4,000-$6,000 but this one had sentimental value, so I decided to invest in restoring it. I dropped the bike off and asked them to make it "cherry"--fix it up properly and make it ride like it should. Make it look like new and reaooy aprae no expesnse its sentimental bike. They had the bike for about a year. During that time, I called regularly and was repeatedly told, "It'll be done this week." That went on for months. I stayed patient because I assumed the long wait and roughly $7,000-$8,000 cost meant they were doing a thorough, high-quality job. When I finally picked it up, things immediately felt off: They tried to charge a 3.5% fee for using a credit card. Ok, so I used Zelle, I attempted to pay via Zelle, but due to limits and delays, they refused to release my bike unless I paid in full immediately. I ended up paying theCC fee just to get my bike back after a year. Then the real issues started. The gas tank was completely empty when I picked it up. It happens, could but it could hsve been a shitty tming thing BUT After putting $20 of gas in, it them tank, started leaking immediately. Since then: The bike is still hard to start Parts are loose (a handle knob fell off the next morning and I ran it over and smashed it on accident Overall, it feels like very little mechanical work was actually done. At this point, it honestly feels like I paid $7k+ for a paint job and a basic tune-up. The bike is still in poor condition and nowhere near what I expected after a year in the shop. The staff was really (the son) polite, and I don't have anything personal against them--but from a service standpoint, I feel completely ripped off. I wanted to support a local business, but I would not bring my bike back here under any circumstances. IT sticnks beverecuaseI have an older go cart that has sentimental balie tahy needs even more work snd wold mske them a lto of $$$ but not from me...EVER AGAIN. I';d sta away unlesits a basic tire change or easier.....STAY AWAY! Buyer beware.
