Took my bike for its first service here (and generally my first experience at a moto service shop), and got to interact with this side of the shop now. Freddie is an awesome guy and helped me get my service scheduled and kept me informed throughout the process. Both break-in service and some additional accessory install that I requested were done, and I'm happy with the work. I'll definitely be back here for my future motorcycle needs! Edit 7/11: rental #3 done! Honda Rebel 500 this time around, really great machine to ride! I love that this one came equipped with a wind deflector which helped with comfort riding on the freeway. Definitely nicer having the parallel twin over the single, really enjoyed my ride! As always, it's a pleasure to interact with my favorite people at the store. Nini at the front desk was absolutely perfect for the job imo: compassionate, reassuring, and exactly what a first-timer needs before throwing a leg over a bike for the first time for real. Freddie and Henry were great too, really easy dudes to talk to and very helpful with sharing tips and other pointers for me. I'll be honest, I dropped the bike an equal number of times on both sides over the weekend, all at zero mph (embarassing af). Symmetrically bruised ego, perfectly balanced. Returning it felt intimidating, but the whole team handled it with zero judgment and genuine professionalism. I didn't try to hide anything and they made the whole process painless, albeit with some monetary penalties caused by my inexperience (I own up to this though). I'm leaving with my wallet lighter but with my heart genuinely fuller for the experience. The environment this shop creates for nervous beginners like me is genuinely rare, and it made me feel supported and motivated to come back and do better next time. Will absolutely be back for my next rental and keep getting ride time in, because real experience gained like I did is priceless. The human element of the shop is just cherry on top, and makes me feel good I'm supporting a local business. Shoutout to Nini, Freddie, and Henry. You made a squid feel welcome.

He took the time to listen to my concerns and scheduled an appointment for me to drop off my bike. About a week later, Alfie reached out with some honest recommendations, including changing my tires which I happily agreed to. His honesty and kindness are truly refreshing in today's world. Over time I found things to cool my enthusiasm about the work…read more 1) My motor burns oil. When the motor was being rebuilt, they definitely had the pistons out on a table. That would have been the time to inspect the piston rings, the cylinder bores, etc., and advise me if something was wrong and what the parts and labor would have cost while everything was already apart. That never happened, unfortunately. Now the same inspection and replacement would cost thousands in new labor. 2) Worse, is at a later service, they bled the clutch fluid, and reassembled the clutch master cylinder reservoir badly causing it to leak when I went home. The fluid dribbled on the fairing paint and caused it to bubble. I emailed them about this and they never responded.
