Definitely Five Stars!!! I'd give more if it were available... With their affordable prices, excellent workmanship, friendly staff, and commitment to staying on schedule, the S Shop truly stands out. The shop offers unbeatable pricing without compromising quality, and the technicians demonstrate impressive expertise and attention to detail - As soon as I rode in, Q noticed and recommended some things... The staff are approachable and always ready to assist. Moreover, their dedication to timeliness is commendable, as they consistently deliver repairs as promised - my bike was a totally different beast after visiting the S shop. I highly recommend the S Shop for affordable and top-notch service and a welcoming atmosphere - you feel like you're in your garage at home with friends. Your bike will definitely thank you for the visit!

    Quality service. Excellent price! A little sunny day chain and sproket stop. No better value anywhere in the Bay area. I recommend Jeff and The S Shop for all your work. #The #S #Shop #TheSShop #Pacifica #Coastside #Ocean #Shore #Railroad #Train #Station #West #Coast #Coastal #Life #California #January #Winter #Sunny #Days #SMCSnapshot #LetsGuide #Two #Wheel #Heaven #Motorcycle #Service #Stop

An exception to service of any sort. Be it cars or motorcycles. These guys are close and they have great attention to detail. Customer service is the best, especially over the phone. Also, when you show up you won't stand around for 30 minutes before they even acknowledge you. Personally, I could never get into a business where the level of customer service they provide given any circumstance is unparalleled. Were I in this line of business? I would have a sign. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. I can tell within 1 minute of talking to someone, whether they're going to whine over a grease smudge or provide some level of good faith, I would refuse to service their bike. Before I gave less than a three-star review, it would have to be a pretty serious breach of traditional business conduct. I mean if you're not going to wrench on your own bike and you entrust to someone else, simple courtesy is simply not return your cherished business I'm sure. Or next service call bring it up. For example, scratches on your aluminum swingarm. The next time you're in to have a light bulb changed, bring up the scratches or call them immediately after you find it and Make note on the receipt who you talk to, what time and date you talk to them and simply tell them catch it next time or "hey, I'm concerned about the integrity of the repair. Over the phone, or return in person, but not online. It's uncool and it's just probably one more reason to hang up the out of business sign. The right to refuse service to anyone is a legitimate business practice. It's disappointing to read about a local bike shop getting blasted in the reviews for a practice. A customer themselves is simply unable to perform but takes exception in your good faith efforts. Take your business elsewhere. I assure you there's many other customers that highly value their effort. The amount of love they show for the sport, in a simple error, shouldn't be run through the mud online. Things in life happen. It's just the way it is. The IRS could come after you and it could be an absolute mistake, but things happen. That's my only disagreement about online reviews is the effectiveness of some of the posts, especially the negative. I mean it's got to be pretty bad epic to give somebody as a single star review and imagine how it makes you look as a person to be so nitpicky. Problem is reviews online will be here long after you're gone. You need to think about that. They don't deserve this type of treatment. Only in San Francisco.

My 2015 Tuono getting suspension upgrades -- Ohlins TTX, Andreani piston kit, and Ohlins steering damper.

I've taken my last few bikes to Jeffrey for suspension work, most recently my 2015 Tuono V4. With a new Ohlins TTX rear shock and steering damper, as well an Andreani piston kit install, a badass bike became even more badass. Jeffrey understands my riding style and suspension preferences, and delivers the goods. And if something doesn't feel quite right after a ride on Pescadero Road, I can stop by the S Shop afterwards for a suspension tweak or two. We're lucky -- we have many suspension options here in the Bay Area. But you can't go wrong by going to the S Shop. Rates are competitive and the work is top notch. If your motorcycle doesn't handle like you want it to, do yourself a favor before unloading it on craigslist: take it to a suspension pro like Jeffrey and then enjoy your newly transformed bike. You'll be glad you did.

Shoutout to Jeff and Q. Got my tires mounted and balanced here. In and out in less than 45 minutes and wayyy cheaper than all the competitors in SF! Will definitely come back again!

After a wonderful seal replacement, 1098s front end conversion to my 998 and a solid suspension set up by the guys at The S Shop

This is probably the best kept secret for motorcycle suspension and setup in the whole Bay Area! These guys at The S Shop are truly talented. With a background as an AMA pit technician, suspension service and rebuild instructor for our bay area's own Moto Shop, and a long career in the automotive repair industry, I can assure you that your motorcycle will be in extremely good hands. Jeff and Chuan do spectacular work. I was referred to them when I was in the process of sending out my ohlins forks to be rebuilt by one of the two known local suspension shops. Several people told me that The S Shop can rebuild my forks and set up my suspension and it would be set up to my riding style and not to what other suspension pros thinks the "right" set up should be. All riders are different and The S Shop points this out and tunes and sets up your bike accordingly. Not to mention when I took my forks over there, the turn around time for the rebuild was literally over night! Talk about stupid fast! So after they earned my confidence, I had them do a complete front end swap on my Ducati 998 and that was done in several days. Hands down the best work I've seen and I've been going to multiple shops in the bay area for the last 11 years of my riding career. Their customer service is probably the most personal and friendly I've experienced. I truly feel like I've gained some trusty moto friends over there. So if you need work done. Give The S Shop a call and tell them that you found them from this awesome review that a very happy customer wrote. They truly deserve the 5 stars. Give them a ring and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed. :) Justin

I could have bought another bike for around $4,000-$6,000 but this one had sentimental value, so I decided to invest in restoring it. I dropped the bike off and asked them to make it "cherry"--fix it up properly and make it ride like it should. Make it look like new and reaooy aprae no expesnse its sentimental bike. They had the bike for about a year. During that time, I called regularly and was repeatedly told, "It'll be done this week." That went on for months. I stayed patient because I assumed the long wait and roughly $7,000-$8,000 cost meant they were doing a thorough, high-quality job. When I finally picked it up, things immediately felt off: They tried to charge a 3.5% fee for using a credit card. Ok, so I used Zelle, I attempted to pay via Zelle, but due to limits and delays, they refused to release my bike unless I paid in full immediately. I ended up paying theCC fee just to get my bike back after a year. Then the real issues started. The gas tank was completely empty when I picked it up. It happens, could but it could hsve been a shitty tming thing BUT After putting $20 of gas in, it them tank, started leaking immediately. Since then: The bike is still hard to start Parts are loose (a handle knob fell off the next morning and I ran it over and smashed it on accident Overall, it feels like very little mechanical work was actually done. At this point, it honestly feels like I paid $7k+ for a paint job and a basic tune-up. The bike is still in poor condition and nowhere near what I expected after a year in the shop. The staff was really (the son) polite, and I don't have anything personal against them--but from a service standpoint, I feel completely ripped off. I wanted to support a local business, but I would not bring my bike back here under any circumstances. IT sticnks beverecuaseI have an older go cart that has sentimental balie tahy needs even more work snd wold mske them a lto of $$$ but not from me...EVER AGAIN. I';d sta away unlesits a basic tire change or easier.....STAY AWAY! Buyer beware.

I've gotten to realize that I probably need to do some modifications to my bike. (thannks to suggestions from a friend - you know who you are..) I went on ebay.... bought a lowering kit... and called a few places to see if they could install it. When I called Leon... he said... so I do this as a hobby because I love working on motorcycles so much. Come on in. This guy is impressive. I showed him what I wanted to do and he talked me out of it. He said that it would change the dynamics of the bike.. and that although it would accomplish what I wanted... it may effect turning. He showed me the disclaimer that came with the parts (basically saying install at your own risk... if you die it's not our deal..) He asked me what my goals were and then he said... go next door to South City Auto Upholstery... talk to Boris and have some cushion taken out of your seat. Have him install different foam and it will do what you want for a fraction of the cost ... and without any additional risk. After I said it was a great idea... he said... here I'll introduce you... and walked me over.... and explained to the guy what I wanted to accomplish... he also explained that it didn't need to be specially cut so the cost should be low. I got a quote and was on my way. Leon is a super nice guy and is really environmentally conscious which I like a lot. He is opening a place around the corner and is going to be selling electric scooters and cars. Nice. I wish all mechanics/motorcycle dealers were as honest and cool as Leon. He's someone you'd hang out and have a beer with too. :)
