I requested a quote from NorCal for Pergola Assembly. I spoke with person named Marcio and he asked me to send him the photo of the pergola and i sent the Costco link. It turned out that assembly price he quoted was based on the price of the pergola not amount of work as someone else had quoted 1/3 of the NorCal price. When i responded that price was out of my budget, his response was - you can afford and expensive pergola but can not afford quality work? I have several friends here in the community who had told me how much they have paid for their gazebo/pergola installation (which is half the price quoted by Marcio). $150 to haul away trash which would be 2-3 boxes. With that said, I find this person unethical, dishonest and unprofessional. Cost of pergola should not be factor in assembly cost. read more

After receiving multiple estimates from other people, Marcio said he would match the lowest estimate which he did. As soon as they start unpacking the hardware, setting up their work tables and power tools they went full throttle non stop for a good 4 hours.
