If I could give more than five stars, I would. Marcio responded within minutes of my initial project quote request on Yelp and with a very reasonable price for install, concrete anchoring and haul away of debris for a Backyard Discovery Gazebo (12x16) that I purchased from Lowes. He was available for scheduling only a few days out - but I scheduled for the following Friday. He texted the night before confirming the appt and time of arrival. He and his crew arrived promptly and quickly got to work. From start to finish I think it was around 4.5 hours - which included sorting all the pieces out and the cleanup. Absolutely stellar work and professionalism.

I ordered a gazebo, and needed a reliable company to put it together for me. I work at Home Depot and come into contact with LOTS of handyman types. This particular young man was very friendly and professional and inasked for his card, so I did call him. And was not disappointed, he was on time, was very communicated thru text, and put my Gazebo together in about 3 hours!! The instructions said it was a 17 hour job. Himand and his partner brought all their own tools, tables, etc. AND cleaned up after themselves!! I would definitely recommend him!

I had a Gazebo installed and they did an exceptional job. Very fast install and at a reasonable cost. It was a Yardistry costco purchased Gazebo that is 12x16. They installed it in about 6 hours. I think it would have taken me more than a few days to do myself. Cleaned up nicely upon completion.

Rodrigo and Pablo did an absolutely phenomenal job assembling our KidKraft playset. The manufacturer estimated the build would take 18-20 hours, but these two somehow completed it in just 6 hours without cutting any corners. Their efficiency and skill were honestly impressive to watch. They showed up on time, worked incredibly hard the entire time, and were professional, courteous, and respectful of our home and yard. You can tell they take pride in their work and have a lot of experience assembling large playsets. The final result looks fantastic and feels extremely solid. As a parent, that peace of mind matters a lot. If you're considering hiring someone for playset assembly or similar projects, I would recommend Rodrigo and Pablo without hesitation. This was the company sent out to assemble a gazebo with assembly we purchased from Sam's Club. Great communication, quick scheduling, transparent about pricing, and very professional. We were finishing up some backyard projects in advance of putting our home on the market. One of which was to assemble a gazebo we purchased on Amazon. NorCal three different price levels for the assembly. (We chose the middle one that included anchoring to concrete.) The prices were all reasonable, far more reasonable than some of the other quotes we received from others here on Yelp. They accommodated out time frame, were on-time and cleaned up the mess afterward. I felt so good about this company that I gave their information to our realtor should she have a similar need for her clients. An easy 5 star. Thanks NorCal! read more

I requested their service initially in 2022 to build a Costco gazebo in my backyard. I inquired in yelp and within a couple minutes received a response. Getting on their schedule was quick, which I appreciated and they came out within a couple days. They truly work fast and efficiently. At first it was one worker and within a couple hours another worker came to help and just like that they were finished! It was completely worth it, and I would surely use their service again and recommended it to others! I just inquired about building a grill, and will update my review once that job is complete. read more

I requested a quote from NorCal for Pergola Assembly. I spoke with person named Marcio and he asked me to send him the photo of the pergola and i sent the Costco link. It turned out that assembly price he quoted was based on the price of the pergola not amount of work as someone else had quoted 1/3 of the NorCal price. When i responded that price was out of my budget, his response was - you can afford and expensive pergola but can not afford quality work? I have several friends here in the community who had told me how much they have paid for their gazebo/pergola installation (which is half the price quoted by Marcio). $150 to haul away trash which would be 2-3 boxes. With that said, I find this person unethical, dishonest and unprofessional. Cost of pergola should not be factor in assembly cost. read more

We needed someone to install the gazebo as I know its gon a take me hours to get it done if not days. I did a quick search and found NorCal Assembly! Love the experience working with these folks! Things I enjoyed: 1. Communication is GREAT! -- they are responsive! Usually some companies respond and you know its like an auto responder but these guys really talk to you! There was a time they were in a middle of an install and he took time to answer my call and set expectation that he will call me right after about 30 mins and he did! 2. WILLING TO WORK WITH YOU. -- My initial need was to have my item picked up from the store then assemble at my home. These guys are willing to help and extend assistance that others won't. 3. VALUES YOUR TIME -- When people arrive on time, they respect and value your time. They said 9am and they were here at 9am. 4. PROFESSIONAL -- love that they go right after the assembly as soon as they got here. I saw how organized they were in building the Gazebo. Im impressed with how they did it. Professional, expert and reliable Marco Da Solva, was very informative and before he began any type of job, he ask you for permission to do what needs to be done for installing the TV wall amount. He has the complete confidence in completing the task at hand. I sat through the whole process of him installing my wall amount and hiding my wires and learned a lot about putting together a wall amount. The tech installed my 65 inch TV and hid my wires inside the walls. Professional service through the entire process. He was very clean and I enjoyed his techniques on installment. He also programmed my remote and TV and made sure I understood how to use my TV and remote. I highly recommend him for his services and his ability to get permission before he starts his job. read more

I hired Marcio and Xavier to assemble my Yardistry Gazebo purchased from Costco. He was responsive through text and voicemail. After receiving multiple estimates from other people, Marcio said he would match the lowest estimate which he did. As soon as they start unpacking the hardware, setting up their work tables and power tools they went full throttle non stop for a good 4 hours. I observed them organizing the parts meticulously and very quickly and it's obvious they have assembled this hundreds of times. In less than 4 hours, the project was complete. I still cannot believe why other estimates I received said it would take 30-50 hours for this job and still charge at an hourly rate. I am giving these guys 5 stars for their excellence, swiftness, precision, flexibility in pricing and professionalism. Well done! read more

I was referred to NorCal Assembly and Cleaning through the AssemblyHelp service partnered with the manufacturer of our new Gazebo (Purple Leaf). These guys were punctual, quick, efficient and very professional. You can tell they do these jobs a lot and know how to work very efficiently. A few days after assembly I noticed one part of the paneling didn't seem completely secured. When I contacted them they asked for pictures and then said they'd send someone out the next day. Sure enough they sent someone who addressed the paneling issue and now everything looks nice and secure. Great customer service. Would highly recommend this group for assembly jobs based on my experience with them. read more

On install day he arrived on time, was professional, respected our property and worked very hard. The gazebo was assembled perfectly in the exact location we wanted it. I submitted a request on Yelp for a handyman and Guilherme of 101 Assembly responded quickly with a friendly message, asking for photos or a link to pictures of the vanity and desk. I sent him photos and within a few hours, he responded back with a quote, which was quite reasonable. We made an appointment for Saturday morning as we wanted to surprise our daughter with the vanity built for her birthday. My son was also excited that his desk was going to be assembled as he wanted someplace to study, as well as a place to sit and play online Roblox with his friends instead of the dining room table. Guilherme texted me 15 minutes before our appointment to say that they were running behind schedule and would be at our home 20 minutes later than our scheduled appointment. I appreciated his communication with me that they were going to be late. When Guilherme arrived, he was accompanied by Isabella (who I learned was his fiancée who works with him). They were very friendly, and both went right to work on assembling the two items. They were professional, efficient and friendly, moving each of the furniture items after they were assembled to where we wanted them in our kids rooms. Great service! We will definitely hire them again for our furniture assembly needs!

Moreover, the cause for drywall tape bubbling or cracking is almost always not enough mud under the tape or too much mud on top. This was not the professional job I expected.

More details: I hired Selim to install a Murphy bed. The first issue was that he didn't pay attention to the bed's dimensions ahead of time. As soon as he arrived, he increased the price and repeatedly commented that he would have brought another person if he had known the correct size (when the issue was simply a lack of attention beforehand). He wasn't able to complete the job properly. The bed wouldn't close, and he couldn't identify the problem, leaving me to troubleshoot it myself. I spent hours trying to fix it and eventually noticed missing screws and other signs of inappropriate installation. In the end, I still had to pay the full price and then hire someone else to redo the same job correctly (paying twice for the same service). I asked for a 50% refund, but he refunded less than 15%. I honestly felt bad because he seems like a genuinely nice person. However, I lost a significant amount of money, time, and dealt with a lot of unnecessary stress. This was a job I paid for specifically to make things easier, not harder.

The pulley system had been routed incorrectly in two places, causing the cables to twist, tangle, create excessive friction, and even go completely slack and off the track when the weight was removed. I immediately sent photos and videos showing the problem. We agreed that she would return at 7:00 PM to inspect and correct the issue. However, she did not show up at the agreed time and instead requested additional photos and videos that had already been provided. Based on the communication and tone, it became clear that returning to fix the issue was not a priority. Ultimately, I had to hire another service to correct the installation. They completely rerouted the pulley system and lubricated the moving parts, which resolved the stiffness and functionality problems. I informed Bay Area Furniture Assembly of this, but never received a response. I am disappointed with the level of customer service, especially considering the price paid. While the initial assembly appeared fine, the real test came when the equipment was put into use, and unfortunately the follow-up support and accountability were lacking. ----Follow Up Reply Thank you for your response. This will be my final response, and readers can do with this information what they will. Several statements in your response are inaccurate. You stated that no follow-up time was agreed upon. In writing, you suggested 7 PM and I agreed to that time. You stated there was no phone conversation. We spoke by phone for over five minutes regarding the issue. You stated that additional photos and videos were not provided. I documented the issue and communicated it as soon as it became apparent during actual use of the machine. I travel frequently for work, and although 12 days had passed since assembly, the machine had not yet been utilized. The issue was discovered the very first time I used it. It also makes little sense that I would voluntarily pay a second company to inspect and repair the machine if there had been no issue with the original setup. I requested no refund, no compensation, and made no demands. I simply needed a functioning machine and chose the quickest path to resolving the problem rather than continuing to troubleshoot. The second company corrected the pulley routing and made additional adjustments to ensure smooth operation. After their work, the stiffness, twisting, and slack cable issues were completely resolved. Whether that means the original assembly was incorrect or not, the fact remains that the machine did not function properly until another company corrected it. My review reflects not only the installation itself, but also the follow-up customer service and accountability afterward. I paid for a properly functioning machine and ultimately had to pay a second company to achieve that. I stand by my review and wish Bay Area Furniture Assembly the best going forward.

I later came back with the leather jacket that had zippers on the sleeves, the sleeves were too long because for some reason I was born to wear a large while having medium arms. I called every tailor I could and they all refused, so I came back here and they were able to take care of it pronto, and by pronto I mean they forgot to do it, ended up taking 2 weeks but I wasn't in a hurry considering Solano county fall is 70 degrees. The leather jacket came out fantastic, it looks as if it came out of the factory perfectly tailored to my body. One thing that did bother me, I don't appreciate paying for the item being cleaned or tailored upfront. They already have my item which means if it gets lost or damaged, I'm out on the item and lost some cash! So far they've been super friendly and I think these guys are going to be my one-stop-shop whenever I do decide to dry clean nice suits again. ;)

I found a company on Facebook and Instagram that had great reviews. I contacted the company and they responded within minutes. They were very responsive and were able to squeeze me into their busy schedule, since I needed the gazebo up quickly for a party. This was a huge relief to me, as I was worried that I would have to wait weeks to get the gazebo built. The guys who built the gazebo arrived on time and got to work right away. They worked quickly and efficiently, and they were always clean and tidy. They arrived prepared with tables and tools and everything necessary to get the job done. You could tell they had a lot of experience and knew what they were doing. The gazebo was finished in just a few hours, and it looks exactly like I wanted it to. They are professional, quick, efficient, friendly, and they do great work. I would also like to add that I was very impressed with the company's commitment to customer satisfaction. They went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with the gazebo. For example, they assisted us in making sure the gazebo was in the right placement we wanted and helped us make adjustments to a previously built gazebo. Marcio was just amazing! He showed up a little early, was very professional and responsive, and got the job done alone in just a few hours! You can tell he is a professional and has done many many jobs similar to our playset! It seemed like he knew the instructions like the back of his hand! He made sure everything was sturdy/mounted to the ground and even added a few accessories (wheel, phone, telescope) for free which was not part of the original playset when we had asked. We purchased a very high end pergola online from Bon and decided that we didn't want to assemble it ourselves. It seemed a bit complicated and we didn't want to risk damaging any of the parts. I was very excited to have my Gazebo installed, NorCal did an amazing job, although they weren't punctual the work Mathew & Pablo performed made up for it. Their work it's professional, they are polite not to mentioned patient since they were there for more than a couple of hours. We hired Marcio to mount two new TV's on the wall in our home. He did an excellent job of mounting the TV's and hiding the cables inside the wall (we provided the wall mounts and in-wall cable kits). Recently ordered a pergola from Backyard Discovery and ordered assembly. Marcio's team arrived on time and within 2 hours our pergola was completely assembled. Marcio and his partner set up my greenhouse I ordered from Costco in a day, which I was surprised with. They did a great job with the set up and didn't leave a mess. They were very professional.
