I have a big sweet tooth, but I usually only want a few bites and can never finish a whole ice cream, no matter how small the size I order. The serving sizes here are perfect for me, and they're also great for my toddler. That said, some of my favorite flavors have been a bit disappointing. Cookie Monster, which is usually one of my favorites, wasn't great. It had a slightly bitter taste and way too much food coloring. It was extremely blue and stained everything, which wasn't ideal, especially with a little one whose favorite flovor is cookie monster. Overall, I appreciate the friendly service, value, and portion sizes, but I do wish some of the flavors were a little better.

It looked like there would be tons of unique flavors to choose from, and I was especially excited to try the pistachio baklava! Unfortunately, when we visited, they only had the standard flavors available: strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, Nutella, and mint chocolate chip. There were also no cones available today. We ended up getting two scoops each. That said, they do not skimp on the ice cream...the scoops were huge and they pack the cups generously, so it's definitely worth the price. The ice cream itself was a solid 5/5! My only disappointment was that I was really looking forward to trying something different and special, especially some of the flavors I had seen advertised online.

I actually liked this a lot. It wasn't too sweet either which was a plus for me.

Service at this location is spotty and slow. But honestly it's to be expected nowadays. The first trip I got custard swirl with jimmys, keeping it basic. Second trip I went for a gelati with black cherry and vanilla custard (pictured). Both great options and my go-tos. This location is off the side of the road with limited bench seating. It's great for a grab and go.

Even for a regular plain vanilla custard, they won't serve you because "they just cleaned the ice cream machine down for the night". Great, they're doing what theyre suppose to but 10 min before closing? Should be after business hours. You would think that right before the holiday weekend when summer is ending they would want the business. Establishments I believe are supposed to close at exactly the time stated which is 10 PM and then you start to clean up but anywhere between 10 to 15 minutes before closing time is unprofessional.

My friends and I ordered their toter tots, crispy chicken and chocolate bubble waffles with milk tea ice cream to share and I ordered their jasmine tea with cheese foam. Our order was ready a lot quicker than I had expected. The taiwanese crispy chicken was crispy, juicy and tender as they used chicken thighs for it. It was also well seasoned and tasted authentic. The tater tots were also perfectly fried as it was super crispy and they were sprinkled with the same seasoning as the chicken. The bubble waffle was the biggest surprise for me as I have never found a place that does it right (texture wise). This is the place! The waffle was crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside and the batter wasn't too floury as I have often found in other places. But that could also be because we ordered chocolate flavor so I should try their original next time. My only complaint is it didn't have enough chocolate taste for me. The milk tea ice cream, although wasn't the best I've had but it's decent and you can still taste the tea. My jasmine tea with cheese foam was fragrant and the cheese foam complimented the tea well and didn't make it overly filling. Overall, I really enjoyed everything I've ordered here and it's perfect for a mid day or late night snack and drink. I have been to other locations in the area and thought they're not as good as this one so I will have to come back to this location especially for their bubble waffles.

The price tag on this cake as well as all others this size was clearly $12.99. The employee said we can't charge white people those prices. We have to charge them more. And unfortunately, my wife and I were the only white people in the store with Hispanics and blacks. I decided to make sure I lived to see another day and not say anything. I wanted a Carvel cake for my birthday. We usually go to the one in Nutley, but this one is 2 blocks from the house. We went in and picked out a cake. What looked like a black mother and son came in after us. Somehow they were helped by the black employee. No biggie, we were picking a cake. They were still undecided so she came to us. We gave her the cake. She asked what we wanted to write, Happy birthday Richard. She scribbled it on as you can see from the pictures. We asked for a few cups of crunchies, no problem. As she tallied it up, she asked to see the box, she saw the price of $12.99, oh no, you people can't pay tha price, you need to pay $20.99. I showed her the rest of the cakes, yeah no, you pay $20.99. We can't charge white people that price on the sticker, we need to charge you people more. As I said, my pregnant wife and I were the only white people in the store. So we tried pushing it a little, but the employee pushed back hard. And then we paid. She asked if we want a receipt, I said yes please. She said well you ain't getting one, because I don't know how to do it. The other employee came over and did it for her. I took it and left. We are never ever going here again. I hate how stores here are so racist against white people it's disgusting. We are people also! We deserve the same respect as everyone else. I know that right now Black Lives Matter, but here in Newark that means all others don't. Never coming back here again!
