LOVE that this place is conveniently located by an entrance into the mall so I can slip in and out of the mall with minimal red, irritated face exposure to the public lol They are located on the second floor, main mall entrance from parking lot next to Burlington coat factory. Horrifying experience. The lady doing my brows DIDNT know how to thread and couldn't follow the shape I showed her. And would keep missing hairs and when I pointed them out, she'd say "oh you're right". Horrifying, never going back. read more

She spent less than 5 minutes on my brows, which NEVER happens because I have oddly shaped eyebrows. I hoped it was because she knew what she was doing but they were not shaped at all. I took a chance to try this threading salon because i was unsatisfied with the consistently rushed services at Shapes Brow Bar where i had been going. Jyooti is the girl who usually does my brows here... she does an amazing job! She took her time to get all the stray hairs, trimmed with scissors, gave a great mini-facial massage. Nora's is the cheapest place to get your face threaded! It's easy to get to if you park in the structure as its accessible from the Burlington coat factory. Jyoti is the best!!! With the threading in the second floor closed, I came here due to the great reviews on yelp, this salon seems to be getting a lot more customers and it's inexpensive. I went on a week day an hour before closing and there was about 8 people waiting and many people waking in and leaving. The lady who did my eyebrows was an older lady. She did a horrible job, took too much hair off one eyebrow and left the other one bigger than it should be. When I told her what I wanted she said "I will try". Horrible words to hear when your about to get threaded. Perhaps she was overwhelmed with the people or simply did not know how to clean and give me a small arch. I will not be returning, now I have to wait months for my one eyebrow to grow. I do not recommend. read more

Misleading Closing Time: I stopped by here after work (after an already long day) at 8:40pm (see photo) on a Thursday. After being rudely ignored when I asked what time they closed, I stood for another 2 minutes asking if they could please do one more. They ignored me until I asked them for a third time what was going on. One of the ladies told me they closed at 8:55 and to come back tomorrow. They clearly close at 9pm and as I write this review, there is still 10 minutes left. Ive been coming here for a while but over the last year I've noticed a decline in quality and customer service. I wandered into this threading salon around 7pm on a Thursday night and was helped right away by the woman at the second station. I was far, far away from my usual threading spot so for the sake of convenience I decided it would be worth it to pay a little extra and just get my brows done here. This was honestly the fastest threading experience I've ever had! I was in and out in less than ten minutes. I don't know if it was a different type of thread or just her technique, but it didn't hurt nearly as much as other times I've gotten my eyebrows threaded. Found a gem in Nora threading salon. When we moved to Burbank, I was afraid I would still need to trek to old hood to get eyebrows done. Decided to try Nora and ummm....best decision ever! I love all the ladies here. They all do an amazing job and understand "just clean it up!" I've never left with an mess up. I usually go during the week so never too packed and the girls here work quickly. It's a little more than my old place but I feel the atmosphere and service make it all worth it.
