We have used Rosemary/Lady Glitter for both of our daughter's Bat Mitzvah receptions 5 years apart. Last Sunday was our young daughter's Bat Mitzvah party here in Los Angeles. Rosemary and her team were kind, punctual and had wonderful inviting energy our guests; who were thrilled. Lady Glitter provided 4 different interactive stations: potion making with the Wizard, high end bracelet making, flash tattoos and hair/feather extensions. Our loved one of all ages happily participated in all the Lady Glitter stations. A+ to Rosemary and her super amazing team! You guys are awesome. We will unequivocally refer this company to anyone looking for extra flair for their next celebration or milestone. Thanks again! Fondly, Jeffrey and Rebecca read more

I hired Lady Glitter, who came to my house for a bat mitzvah and did Henna. All the girls loved it, and the moms too.

This review is long overdue but I hired Rosemary for my son's first birthday last month in February. She was great and the kids absolutely loved the face painting and balloons. Unfortunately, being so busy hosting I forgot to get a balloon for my son and he did not want to have his face painted. On the other hand, my little nieces loved their unicorn face painting and the flower balloons. Since we didn't have any young guests by the time she showed up she even told us to have the adults get their face painted, which some did. Even though she arrived earlier than expected, she did stay until our arranged time. Definitely recommend Rosemary for your little one's celebration. read more

Rosemary was so kind, accommodating and helpful and really is a gem of a person and artist!

Rosemary went so above and beyond what I possibly could've expected. She called me the second I put in for a quote which I loved, she was right on time and she made every child INSANELY HAPPY. She worked quickly, seamlessly throwing in some of the best character balloons I've ever seen, along with glitter tattoos, all while doing elaborate face paints for rambunctious children ages 2-7. We had nothing but positive feedback from all the guests and even some parents jumped in for a face paint too! read more

Rosemary came to my rescue at the last minute: another yelp Henna artist I had made arrangements with for me and my sister ghosted at the very last minute- thank goodness Rosemary was quick to answer her texts despite having a doctors appt that morning! Omg not enough good things to say. I originally went with the artist who charged $10 less than Rosemary, but Rosemary took her time bandaging me and my sister, providing us with these balms that bring me so much joy (I need more of this lemongrass balm- I'm not exaggerating it is EVERYTHING). She taught us how to maintain our Hennas longer, gave us a thorough history lesson in the art of Henna, and even gave us a patch test for Jagua in case we ever wanted to get one from anywhere in the future- so we know we arent allergic! Rosie is the realest- she's from Brooklyn, so she's a straight shooter, but don't let that intimidate you! After you see what passion she has for what she does and how skilled she is- you'll realize not only how fair her prices are, but how genuinely she feels like family. She does the Hennas out of her home with her two adorable black pugs to keep you company while you wait to dry! My sister and I had a blast talking to her! She even gave me a custom design that combined two different designs out of her book! Her Henna is the darkest I've seen and so far- no fading and its been 4 days! I will be handing her card out to everyone so book her while you still can! Thank you Rosie for welcoming us into your home, you made my sister's birthday so perfect- it was a full blown experience. I will be taking her next available class (she teaches the art and history of Henna!!) because I only dream of being as meditative and creative as her with her craft! She is worth all the inspiration you get from just meeting up to witness her art become part of you! read more

Rosemary was a pleasure from booking until after the job was over. She hooked our party guests UP! She works very fast and the designs came out so beautifully. Leaving a lasting reminder of an amazing party is the best party gift we could have given! Her rates are reasonable, and she's upfront and honest. We learned she even teaches henna, so she's quite the expert in the whole process, down to the inks used. Will 100% call her for another party! read more

Lady Glitter - I even smudged it while wet- clumsy- but it still turned out so lovely - Henna Artists Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I had an Indian wedding to attend and didn't realize how I needed to make an appointment in advance. I was scouring the internet and found her on Instagram. I was impressed by her portfolio and her celeb clients. I reached out to here on Instagram but reached her through her phone. She was able to squeeze me in on short notice. I chose a design from her book. I was worried that the henna wouldn't show on my darker skin but it came through nicely. She did beautiful work. I've gotten many compliments on my henna. Even the bride with henna on both her hands and feet was impressed with my design. She has a darker henna but because it causes allergic reactions she won't apply a design without testing your skin first. Don't wait last minute like me. If you can book at least 2 days in advance for the full pigment to show. I'll definitely do it again. read more

Lady glitter's work was amazing!! I came to her frantically looking to have a new henna artist as mine canceled a few days before my wedding. I called every number around me and most people weren't able to fit me in. However I explain the situation to Lady Glitter and she was able to accommodate me. Although the place of location wasn't very professional (taken at her home and she was cooking while performing services) her work was great. She is very confident in the work that she does and appears to have a great experience and knowledge of the Henna artwork. It was also kind of nice having it be so informal as it made me very comfortable to speak to her as if she was a friend. My henna only lasted about a week and a half but I think that was partially due to the fact that my husband and I were swimming a lot on our honeymoon in Greece. Otherwise I think it would have stayed much longer if I had also kept it on longer before peeling. Definitely recommend her read more

Found Rosemary through instagram by a referral from a friend. I have never had henna before because I have a lot of skin allergies so I never did it. Admittedly I was a little apprehensive at first but she mixes all her own henna and is all natural as well. So that really set my mind at ease. She was also super nice and professional and had no problem answering even my most detailed questions, as she weaved her work. Would definitely recommend her to anyone who would like to try it or do this regularly. Oh and as a bonus she also gave me some henna balm that she makes well. I received a lavandería and cinnamon one and the sent is heavenly. read more

Lady Glitter - Next day. - Henna Artists Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Quick, skilled and knowledgeable! Lady Glitter works best and prefers if you peruse her portfolio or Instagram account and chooses a design or image from her gallery or past works. She is very talented and skilled at henna and has a background in art/illustration which is beneficial. However, Lady Glitter was able to work off a photo I had picked out elsewhere. She was able to identify the style, and inform me of the name and hashtag to search for further inspirations. She was able to give me a similar design, with her own flair. I love essential oils and Lady Glitter hand mixes her organic henna with delicious smelling essential oils depending on the season....smells amazing! Lastly, she's super personable and easy to talk to. I'm also grateful she informed me of and invited me to a special henna group on Facebook. I look forward to seeing and working with LadyGlittter more in the future! read more

She is the most amazing artist I have ever had the chance of working with. I am 7 months pregnant and I wanted a maternity stoot with Body paint and Henna theme, I reached out to her, her rates were great and we fixed a day. Her hospitality and patience blew me away as I was not still at all, and I kept moving. I definitely was not the best client but she managed to create a masterpiece. I am so happy I found her. I highly recommend her services. She is indeed really great at what she does. That's not a common thing around these parts. read more

By FAR the BEST henna artist I've had in LA and over the last couple decade that is a LOT of henna tattoos. Rosie is AMAZING she took care of explaining older hands can be drier than younger ones so applied the tattoo in a beautiful simplistic design on my left hand. Magickal! Be sure to follow her directions exactly or the henna won't set correctly and nothing is as important as a setting henna tattoo! She is amazing for bride all showers and wedding tattoos for bride and groom! Can not Recomendation her highly enough! read more
