My daughter is officially a teenager! I can't believe that! So with this huge milestone, we decided to get traditional henna tattoos. We came across Henna Tradition and decided to make an appointment. I reached out through email on the website and received a response in just a few hours. When booking, you do have to make a non-refundable deposit ($25) which does go towards your service. My daughter got henna on one hand, and I got one hand and one foot. The final price was $105, $35 x2, one hand top design starting above wrist, and one-foot design starting at $35. My daughter already had a design in mind which turned out great! I was open to any design, and I let Farwa pick for me. She is in the South Bay, which was very convenient for me. I loved the way our henna dried and love how it currently looks. I will be coming back to celebrate another milestone.
Farwa is great! I've been to her twice and will be a returning customer. She works fast, her work is neat, and prices are reasonable (I don't rush her or make her feel rushed). She responds in a timely fashion and also teaches you how to care for your henna to make it last as long as possible SUPER IMPORTANT!! I've been to other artists and they give vague directions on how to care for the stain. I highly recommend Henna Traditions for your henna needs!
AMAZING artist. She provides such quality art that you can tell she has taken many years to master. Henna is such a challenging medium to work with, but she is so good that she makes it look easy. She is extremely kind, efficient, lovely to converse with, and created the most incredible designs for us to enjoy on our honeymoon. We will absolutely be back
After looking around for a good place to do a professional henna work on my 38week belly I found Farwa with henna traditions and first let me tell you she's is very professional, humble and very talented this is my first time doing and knowing the meaning of henna and trust me I was very happy to learn about the culture and it meaning I love the work she did on me and I will defently tell friends and family about her! Quick look out she uses real Henna paint unlike other places they use paint with chemicals that will stained your skin faster but not safe specially if you pregnant. Thanks for the good work
Farwa is wonderful! She did the henna for my wedding ceremony and the henna for wedding guests the night before. I chose the Rose Bride package for myself and the one-artist/ 20 quick designs package for wedding guests. Not only is Farwa amazing at what she does, but she is also a pleasure to be around! Farwa is extremely talented, artistic, creative, fairly priced, flexible, and fun. My mom and I spent 3-4 hours at her house for the ceremony henna; and then she drove across the city to do the guest henna on an important holiday. She went above and beyond the entire weekend. We are so grateful!

She talked to me about using organic products and her after-care instructions that would allow me to have the deepest color without risk of allergies to chemicals they often mix into the henna in Artesia. I spent nearly four hours at Farwa's house getting my hands/arms done and I almost didn't realize it! Farwa is a consummate professional- talented, flexible, warm, encouraging and even willing to take feedback and a little direction from her clients. And she's so fun to talk to! I was fortunate to find Henna Tradition and was able to book Farwa for the date and time requested. Farwa was fantastic! She arrived on time at the party and set up quickly. She was very patient with our little group of tweens (and you can imagine how 11 and 12 year old girls can be) and provided them very beautiful artwork. She even had time to create some very lovely artwork on both me and my husband! Everyone enjoyed this so much, I anticipate she will be invited back for future parties. Thank you, Farwa!
Farwa is completely amazing. A naturally talented artist who is serious about her craft. I've been to Henna Tradition twice and she goes above and beyond my expectations every time! She is very knowledgeable with all of the products she uses and the care to make sure that the stain will come out the best it could possibly be. Its perfect for vacations, parties or just because. If you're thinking about henna or jagua design, I would most definitely recommend Henna Tradition.
My sister found Farwa through yelp when she needed henna done for her wedding. Farwa works out of her apartment which is located very centrally in Torrance. It took almost 4 hours for my sister's bridal henna to be done, but the work was stunning. I went to Farwa's the next day with 4 other girls so that we could all get some small henna on our hands for the wedding as well. I had browsed designs and showed her what I was thinking of, and she replicated it no problem in 15 minutes flat. She was able to also replicate designs for the other girls, and the 5 of us were done in 2 hours, and for what I thought was very reasonable pricing. She is clearly skilled and knows what she's doing. She talked us through it and explained what henna was made of, and how to treat it for the next few hours. We all were super pleased with the service and artwork, and received tons of compliments all weekend. I definitely recommend Farwa if you need henna done!

Farwa is an amazing artist ! My sister and I both reached out to her for our weddings and we each were not disappointed in her work. I asked for traditional Tunisian henna which is not common, although she had never done it she was willing to try and she definitely executed ! I usually come to see Farwa for my henna, but when I found out she can do makeup too I decided to see her for an event I had to go to. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup so I asked her to give me a natural look. She exceeded my expectations! She gave me a natural look, evened out my skin tone and did some light contouring. She explained everything she was doing and why. I would recommend seeing her if you want to have your makeup done for an event or if you just want to look nice for a date or for yourself. Her henna skills are amazing!! She is friendly and fast. She is able to do any design you bring to her and makes sure you're happy with the result!!! read more

Incredible henna! A true traditional artist with an amazing sense of design. I drove down to Torrance and she did the backs of both hands in an hour. I got a gorgeous stain from the henna. Couldn't be happier. I did a lot of research in LA area for good henna art. Closer places looked really crappy, art-wise. The drive to Torrance and the cost was so worth it. She also will come to you if you hire her for over 2 hours of work (I believe.) Her services would be perfect for parties! read more
