Dixita had been doing my henna for almost two years for special occasions. She recently did my bridal henna which came out so beautifully. She didn't rush through the process and was very meticulous. She also makes the natural henna cones herself at home so I've never worried about allergic reactions. read more

Dixita did my bridal henna (and my mother in law's) and it was absolutely beautiful! She accommodated our schedule on a weekday before a destination wedding and copied the inspiration pictures (of her work) I brought perfectly. It was pretty hard to remove from my skin (I had to scrape it and it was stuck to my arm hair lol) but it was worth it because the color came out so good. The henna design lasted a long time and I didn't want it to fade away ever. I loved it so much! Pictures attached. read more

Loved working with Dixita! She answers all questions and replies quickly through text. Dixita was able to do my bridal henna and bridesmaids henna a few days before my wedding. Everyone loved how it turned out. To give some context, I was a Vietnamese bride marrying into a Punjabi family. Dixita also provided party henna for guests at my wedding reception - it was a hit! We worked with Dixita for our wedding earlier this year. Dixita spent the day doing the bridal henna for my wife and then came to our house for a shorter session where she did the henna for my mom, mother-in-law and some of our family friends. She is so talented and is just fantastic to work with. She's super sweet and patient. My wife isn't Indian so when she heard that wedding henna was going to take several hours, at first she was a bit nervous, but Dixita made her super comfortable and did an amazing job. She is a true artist and you can tell she takes a lot of pride in her craft. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a talented henna artist whether it's for a smaller event or a wedding. Thanks again Dixita!! read more

I highly recommend Dixita for your henna needs! She makes her own henna cones and takes her time to go through her books of designs to help you choose. She showed me options from modern and traditional designs (I opted to go with traditional). I had a last minute booking and contacted her Tuesday night, asking for a spot on Thursday night. I went to the location she provided me, where she had a henna station set up. I will say, try to get a ride from someone if you're the only one getting mehndi done (only because it's awkward to drive with mehndi on your hand). She took her time to help me settle on a design, I chose a traditional design (you can see it in the pictures. Ignore the random spots, that was my own fault while at home because I slept in it without securing it properly). The pictures I have are from the 3rd day and you can see how dark the stain is. Dixita is super nice and friendly. I love how much effort she puts into her designs. read more

I can't say enough about Dixita, she was the person we reached out to when my brother got married 7 years ago, and now at 39 weeks pregnant, I was able to memorialize my belly with this beautiful piece. In total it took about an hour and half and that's with my little one moving in my belly the whole time! I let her be creative and told her I wanted a lion incorporated into the design and BOY DID SHE DELIVER! I've had soooo many compliments from so many people. I'm so grateful she lives close by, she drove to my house, was extremely personable and just a genuinely sweet person to be around. I also want to mention that Dixita mixes her own henna that she imports from Rajasthan (known to have the best henna in the world). A lot of henna artists get pre-made mixes which have chemicals and while the color will be dark, I've had scenarios where after 3 days, it comes off in patches and looks disgusting. She uses pure henna and the color is beautiful, I posted a picture of the henna when she applies it and also 3 days post her applying it and it looks amazing!! Thank you again for this amazing experience! read more

*UPDATE* The business owner left a reply to my review and nearly everything she said is actually a lie. She did not ask me additional questions like she had mentioned. She claims that she doesn't care about negative reviews because she doesn't compete for business but she clearly cares a lot as she took time to respond to my review only to make up lies in an attempt to devalue what I was saying. DEAL WITH EXTREME CAUTION. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND WORKING WITH THIS BUSINESS. *Remember, there are plenty of businesses out there that aren't sketchy like this one that will actually provide you with the service and satisfaction that they say (and that you deserve). Save yourself the hassle of communicating with this person. read more
