Parking is not the easiest thing to find unless you park above or below the plaza, so parking in front of the area can be a bit difficult. So, service... I was asked to sit at one of the stations and then I told the person that I wanted them to be cleaned up and shaped but to leave it on the thicker side so I can continue to shape them in the future. Well, she cut some of the hairs, which is standard. Then she threaded lightly above the brow only to clean it up and not shape it. Then she barely cleaned up the arch area and asked if I was ok with the service. Honestly, I could have cleaned up with tweezers, but whatever. So then she does the same thing on the other side. And that was it. She didn't thread them to the point they were shaped, they looked barely cleaned up but there was no finesse to them. I don't think I'll go back. I truly wanted to like them. I went there because I saw the pictures so I figured they'd do a decent service. It was meh or sub-par at best. 3 stars because of the business cleanliness and sanitation practices.

While physical damage to my outer lashes is still frustrating and will take months to grow out, I highly respect the owner's integrity, and how quickly he stepped in to make the financial side of this right. --- I am giving 2 stars because the majority of my lashes did successfully curl, but the overall technical and administrative experience was highly flawed. First, the technical issue: I booked this lift specifically to target my straight outer lashes. When I got home, I realized those specific outer lashes were noticeably shorter and thinner. They were either trimmed or chemically snapped off during processing. Either way, altering or damaging the natural lash without a consultation is a major technical failure. Administratively, the checkout process was confusing. The technician was completely unaware of the salon's own advertised Yelp pricing and first-timer discounts. She wasn't combative, but she was very firm on her system's higher price, which required her to call the owner to verify the promotion. They did ultimately honor the 25% discount, but they applied it incorrectly--calculating the discount after subtracting my $25 deposit rather than from the total service price. Because of this structural math error, I still ended up overpaying by $5. If you go here, double-check the math on your receipt and be very explicit about not letting them trim your lashes.

I tend to be dramatic but I would literally throw myself in front of a speeding car for Gohar mainly because my picture in the paper would feature the best brows I've had since before I discovered anxiety plucking. Located in the Burbank hairtown, this cash only joint is fairly unassuming from the outside. Most brow places have you sitting upright at a counter, or hunched over at a kiosk. Here, you're laying down on a comfy reclining table in a private room in the back so no discomfort or gawking. She takes her time to discuss your brows with you, what you want, what your goals are before she works. She's appointment only because of this. She doesn't rush, she doesn't gab or get distracted by coworkers, your face is her priority. With her array of wax, threading, tweezers and etc she works the best gameplan for your brows and gets to work talking to you about what she's doing as she goes. She takes her time to make sure everything is perfect and even. Because I'm patchy and my brows look like trampled golf terrain due to bad waxes from other more expensive places, she recommended using castor oil to help regrow the sparse areas. She sells castor oil but doesn't push it and even recommends buying in bulk online if you want a ton of it. I bought a small 2 dollar bottle from her to try it out. She's warm, friendly, a perfectionist and a delicate hand. Also parking is easy which sells me on 90% of things.
