We were told conference room signs did not need tactile (braille) on them by Sign-A-Rama. They quickly put together our order and charged us quite a bit of money. Now, I have to have them re-done because in fact tactile is required. Sign-A-Rama themselves have to outsource this service meaning they would probably charge double to make a good profit. If you are need of signs for an office that need to be ADA compliant, save your money and time and do not proceed with Sign-A-Rama. Not only do they charge you double what other companies would, they do not know the sign standards which is something that should be well known if you're in the sign making business.

I had a product idea in mind that required printing on an unusual surface (think yoga mat type surface), and I had no idea where to get it printed. My friend and graphic designer referred me to Michael at Andresen, and Michael was quick to respond and was quick throughout the whole process. After printing out a prototype of the product, he offered to have their team member Joey MEET ME AT MY LOCATION (on the other side of town from their printing office), and I was glad he did. It saved me a lot of travel time, and it was nice to meet someone from Andresen. When Joey came in, he was warm and friendly, showed me the product, talked me through some of the challenges they had, and offered recommendations for ways to make the product look and last better, which was very helpful. We had a good conversation, and I was definitely surprised by the above-and-beyond service and positive attitude from Joey, Michael, and the Andresen team. The final product was PERFECT and ready for me to present. If I ever need to get more digital printing projects done, I am DEFINITELY going to Andresen. We contracted Signworks in October for overhead exterior signage and paid over $7,000 in deposit…read morefee's (50% of the total project cost) as required. Four months later, the permit process has still not been properly submitted and the project has not moved forward. During this time, the company was sold to new ownership and we were not notified of the transition. Their office location closed and their main phone number was disconnected, which initially led us to believe the company had shut down after collecting our deposit. After considerable effort, I was able to track down a number for one of their project managers (Doug), who was helpful and put me in touch with the new owner. The new owner was apologetic for the delay and assured us the permits would be submitted last week. Since then, I have followed up three separate times and have not received confirmation that the permits have been submitted or any clear update on next steps. For any business, exterior signage is critical for visibility. A four-month delay after a $7,000 deposit, combined with nonexistent communication, has been extremely frustrating. I genuinely hope to update this review with a positive follow-up stating that the project was completed and commitments were honored. I would gladly revise this review if the situation is resolved promptly. At this time, however, we are still waiting for meaningful progress.

We had done one project with them in 2024. We found them to be a bit disorganized, but okay to deal…read morewith. This year I contacted them for a few projects. We scheduled a site visit. The gentleman who came seemed great, but he didn't send me a quote. One week later, I hadn't heard anything from them. After calling to ask if I could get my quote, the Owner (I believe) told me that they may "take a pass," on our projects. When I asked why, she said they "do this all of the time." She sent a follow-up email blaming it on their schedule and workload, but I had not even given them a delivery schedule. It was a super disappopinting experience. My advice - if you plan on getting a quote from them for a commercial project, get quotes from competitors as well. Be aware that this company evidently chooses to "take a pass" on projects often.
