The restaurant was busy with a Labor Day crowd and seemed a bit understaffed, but the owner/waitress was incredibly warm and welcoming. My husband and I ordered the spicy chicken cubes, eggplant with garlic sauce, and rare beef pho. The stir-fries were outstanding--the chicken packed a punch with spice and that wonderful numbing kick from Sichuan peppercorns, and the eggplant was fried to perfection with crispy edges, just like a dish I loved growing up in China.
