I appreciated that she asked whether I wanted my salad mixed in during the mixing step. She greeted people and made small talk with customers as they came in and acknowledged them when they were leaving. Food was pretty good. Good selection of fruits even though they are canned. Since they were canned fruits it made my poke a bit more watery than usual. Big chunks of fish were pretty satisfying! There are a few tables inside so you're able to sit and eat although it was quite cold inside.

What a waste of a lunch break. I had an hour lunch break, but I didn't get my food until I was…read moreasking for a refund to leave because I had no time left. The staff insisted that this wasn't a fast-food place and that their 50-minute ticket time was acceptable. I arrived at 12:30 PM and left at 1:20 PM without eating lunch. I wouldn't recommend this place. The staff was completely unprofessional, and the food portions were disproportionate to the price. Do not eat here. I repeat, do not eat here. Overall cleanliness was at a low and the staff's behavior was totally unacceptable... "We located the receipt for your order. Our records show you waited 20 minutes, and there were 10 orders ahead of you. We prepare orders in the sequence they're received. We maintain a clean restaurant and have nothing to hide. We issued a refund. We believe some of your statements are untrue." Wow, Angie D., you're being incredibly dishonest. I believe you were present when you and your staff were incredibly disrespectful about your late ticket times. It's not surprising that you're now trying to downplay the truth and lie to cover up your inappropriate behavior. How about some accountability? "We located the receipt for your order. Our records show you waited 20 minutes, and there were 10 orders ahead of you." That's an absolute lie. I literally had only two gentlemen who were before me on their lunch break before they were served after it took 10 minutes plus to make their food and watch them consume their meals in their entirety and sit and have extended conversation afterwards until I decided to get up and leave. I can't believe the lack of accountability. I've worked in the restaurant industry for over ten years, and I completely missed my entire lunch break. What would I gain from fabricating this story? I'm simply informing people about what to expect and how you treat your guests. As I mentioned, I observed several people who ordered after me being served before me, while people around me finished their meals while I sat and waited in vain. When you begrudgingly gave me my refund, you glared at me and acted completely disregarding my time. Then, you yelled that I should go to McDonald's after I had waited my entire lunch break in your store, showing absolutely no remorse. So I ask you now whose statements are really untrue.

My 1st visit and I probably won't be back anytime soon. Nothing wrong with the food, it's hard to mess up placing raw ingredients in a bowl. It just feels way over priced; 1/2 cup protein for $18 is a little much especially for the dark & dingy location. I asked which of the sauces were spicy beside spicy mayo, he just shrugged his shoulders and mumbled something. It was very uncomfortable just placing my order, like I was bothering him by ordering. The guy literally just squirt a bunch of sauce all over the top of my finished order. Had to ask him for nori and won ton. He acted like I was putting him out for asking. At least the place in Redding makes an effort and tosses your protein in the sauce. This place literally gives zero shits about service and charges a premium for a meal containing minimal protein. A very disappointing experience.
