Medford doesn't have many boba shop options. We came here to take a short tea break. They have indoor dining in. We ordered Ube boba milk tea with 25% sugar and no ice. Due to no ice, the drink didn't fill it up, but they let you know in advance, and you can top up $2. The least sugar we can adjust is 25%, because the drink is premade. Overall the drink is just so-so to us, especially with 25% sugar. I still feel too sweet. Probably other drinks are good. read more

I had a really disappointing experience here. The staff got our order wrong and gave us a drink we didn't order. When we pointed it out, instead of fixing the mistake, the employee insisted she had "clarified" that we wanted Thai tea instead of chai. That was never the case, and it felt dismissive. Even after explaining, they refused to remake the drink. Mistakes happen, but good customer service is about taking responsibility and making it right, unfortunately, that didn't happen here. read more

We were on a road trip and stopped in the area to get gas. And we looked up on Yelp to see if there was any bubble tea places nearby to grab a drink to get back on the road. We decided on this place and my cousin and I both got the Signature Fruity Bloom with tapioca. The drink wasn't too bad, but the amount of tapioca was so little. And the drink is tall and slim, and the straw is barely longer than the cup. So, it was not the easiest to drink and try to get to the teeny bit of tapioca at the bottom of the cup. read more

WHY WE WENT HERE: - new boba spot in the area? we're there (especially coming from the San Francisco Bay Area where there is a plethora of boba shops that are regularly frequented) THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located right next to the Carl's Jr. drive-thru - ample parking THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - passes the aesthetic test: VERY cute with the geometric shelving, potted faux succulents and orchids, mid-century modern furniture (which of course currently can't be enjoyed due to the COVID-19 pandemic; everything is take-out), and also a painted mural by the entrance/exit for the cool kids to take photos of their drink against for social media purposes - LIKE other boba shops, specials are indicated on little blackboards by the cash register - UNLIKE other boba shops, the snacks available are not HOT snacks (e.g., popcorn chicken, cheese sticks, egg puffs, etc.) but are non-perishable snack items and instant noodles as well as an open drink fridge for other cold drinks (e.g., Ramune, etc.) that you'd typically find in Japanese and Korean markets; they also sell the loose leaf versions of the tea they brew in-house for their drink menu items in tiny clear corked jars (SUPER cute!) I simply won't hear any of this slander on the BEST boba in town. Blended, iced, this place consistently has the most flavorful boba and flavors. Vanilla Chai is a ride or die, and you cannot go wrong with almost any flavors; banger after banger: taro, pina colada, butterfly tea. Simple perfection and class. If you can't have cow milk, that eliminates most of the drink menu. The lactose-free powder they use contains cow milk protein and isn't safe for dairy-sensitive/allergic people, nor suitable for vegans. They don't offer any alternatives milks. Obviously that's not a problem if you can and will digest cow milk protein but even so, it's a powder, not real milk. There are great things about Boba Tea Time though! The butterfly tea is tasty and very visually appealing, a rare treat I've only found one other time in my tea-seeking travels. Also, this place has the best-cooked boba I've found in the Rogue Valley so far. A smidge on the soft side but within good parameters on the texture and very consistent (no random undercooked or mooshy boba, no globs, etc.). Plus, the shop offers a variety of drink toppings, interesting snacks, tea products, and an overall friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Please, please offer some sort of milk (soy, almond, oat, etc... real cow milk, even) instead of powder laced with cow milk protein. Such a bummer their hours are wrong online. We drove from Ashland only to find out they didn't open for another hour. Women working was a more than a bit brisk when alerting me after me and my daughter walked in their unlocked door. We've been coming here as regular customers. It's really sad that one afternoon. We've encountered 2 of their staff and one of them is the Manager(Kelli) that gave us bad customer service. The person that took our order tried to explain the sweetness level of our drink and I think there's a big misunderstanding. Like i said We've been coming here and I always order the same thing but this time this person tried to explain us something that doesn't make sense. In the first place, I did not ask her about the sweetness option level. I just order my regular drink like how i used to order before. The worst part is that we were ahead of 3 group of customers and they got their drink first. I'm a very observant person . Maybe if they only skipped us from 1 customer i would let it go. But 3 groups? I think that's unacceptable. And the funny part is that when I confronted the Manager, she told me that our drink is harder to make than those 3 parties behind us. So they have to make their drink first before my order... I think this unacceptable reason.. I almost ask her that if I am ahead of 10 customers that order an easy to make drinks. They would prioritize them first? ....that's frustrating and unbelievable! I work in Healthcare and I don't treat my patient like this, I'm pretty sure no customer would want to experience this kind of treatment. It's really sad. I hope this 2 staff will improve and maybe be more organize next time. Some workers here are nice and pleasant, except this 2 staff that we encounter. Best boba we've found since moving to Oregon from Los Angeles, where we were spoiled with multiple good boba places. Boba is nicely made. Tea is flavorful. So I brought my family in today to boba tea to buy a few (5) drinks and the girl at the counter made a mistake and made us the wrong drink. The girl proceeded to tell me sorry but your going to have to pay for another drink. She said she heard something different then what we told her. Now regardless who's fault it is. It's always a good idea to go out of your way to make your customers happy it will only bring your customers back time and time again. I mean what could a tea really cost to make just to make your customer happy. Before this we would typically go there with the family once a month. But after this experience we will not be going back. I have never in my life ever had someone treat me like this before. The funny part to the story here is when I brought the drink she made wrong to the counter she took it and threw it away. I paid for another drink and gave my kid the right drink. Then I asked for the wrong one back that I already paid for. But because she threw it away they had to make that one again for free.
