Before our food came out the nice waitress brought us complementary fried wontons and sweet & sour sauce to munch on. It was a great start to our meal. The eggrolls were vegetarian. And for my soup I got the hour & sour which was really nice and comforting. The person I came with got their egg drop option which they enjoyed. For rice we went with the fried rice option instead of just white rice. It was on the blander side but we dressed it up with some table soy sauce. The chow mien was good but the texture of the chicken in it was a little odd. We still chowed down on it though. The beef broccoli was probably the best thing there. It was so flavorful. The orange chicken were very large pieces. The sauce on it was good. We were blown away by how much food we got and ended up having a lot of left overs. Our entire meal was priced slightly below $50. Oriental Chinese Cruise also updated to the dining room. The addition of larger windows makes the space feel much brighter and more inviting. I also noticed a patio seating which I think was available but likely missed due to bad lighting. Thankfully, some things haven't changed--the ladies that provide the service remains as warm, courteous, and welcoming as ever. I usually order to go here -- veggie items like tofu. The mapo tofu is not spicy enough but the curry tofu is. This time I asked for non-fried curry tofu, should had went with the fried as the color and flavor is a bit off!

However, after the recent visit to this location, I highly doubt we will ever visit again. As usual food was fantastic with generous portions, but if the staff are extremely rude, I dont think any food is worth the hassle. We make conscious efforts to be polite with everyone we come across and we expect the same from everyone else also. We strongly believe that basic manners are essential in everyday life, especially when running a business. Like I said, we always had positive experience with the previous staff, unfortunately the new staff do not seem to care how they interact with the customers. Oh well ! Time to find a different Chinese takeout spot.

Noodle Steet's signature spicy noodle with beef shank is not for the faint of heart. Even as someone who enjoys spicy food, this bowl is spicy enough to make my nose run! The broth is sooo rich and delicious! My base is always go with the thick cut noodle, which is thicker than your typical noodle and has a wonderfully chewy texture. One of the highlights is watching the chef hand-cut the noodles right in front of you with a knife, adding a bit of an INFORMAL dinner-and-a-show to the experience. The service is quick and efficient...the servers stops by often to replenish your water and drops off napkins extra napkins without being asked. Love the service.
