Located in the small Korean market--on the left hand side when you walk in--small food court with a few others. Got jajangmyeon. (Black bean noodle)and it was decent. Large portion with tender noodles for a fair price of $8.00. A LOT of sauce if you like your noodles like that. There's other stir fry type noodle options if you're craving a quick easy simple noodle dish. (mostly pork, beef, shrimp ingredients though... ). I would recommend trying it out if you have the noodle munchies. Note: if you eat there, don't forget to give back your tray to the designated location you purchased from. (Yes, I was a bit confused too)

I love Black bean noodle and sweet pork. I used to visit this location few times and it was not bad. However, I am so disappointed for last visiting. I ordered jajang rice and sweet pork and black bean noodle. It was salty and soggy. Also, portion was really small. I usually get J1 for over 4 stars. However, it's not for this location anymore. I think they operate this business under new management. I recommend you guys look for better black bean noodle places around here because there are so many great options. I will never be back

(American here) I thought the noodles were amazing! Hearty, perfectly cooked and fresh! Amazing value for the price. The staff was very friendly. The complimentary yellow vegetable was incredibly tasty. I would recommend this place!

Their black bean noodles (jajangmyeon) and spicy seafood noodle soup (jjamppong) are so good here.

I'm wheelchair bound and it makes it awkward to get around at times, I was thinking I'd see if they had outdoor seating. Kevin was so observant of my presence in the restraunt and had a chair pulled out for me at a table when I came out. I was so touched that he noticed me come in and was ready to seat me. It made me feel welcome, and I decided I didn't want to eat outside anymore. I was there with my dad. Kevin helped give us good recommendations since it was our first time ordering. He smiled and was so friendly to us. The food was good, but the service was outstanding! Kevin made sure our jasmine tea had fresh refills at appropriate moments. He didn't hover, but he was sensitive to the right times to check in. We received really good service because of him. Makes me want to bring friends back here for lunch or dinner. Everything we ordered was good, but I personally recommend the Sautéed Fish Fillet with veggies! Very tasty!

I ordered the black pepper beef ($14.95), which also came with fried rice, hot and sour soup, a vegetable egg roll, and a chicken wonton. The beef slices were tender and thin with juices remaining in the meat. However, the dish overall seemed a little too oily for my palate. The fried rice was good and didn't have an overpowering flavor. The side dishes accompanying the weekend special were adequate. However, the vegetable egg roll was oily, and I had to wipe my fingers each time I picked it up. The little chicken wonton was wrapped in a greasy aluminum foil that wasn't very pleasant to open. I found the hot and sour soup adequate, but I've eaten better elsewhere. Despite some minor disfavors with the food, the weekend special is still cost effective, allowing you to get a big lunch for under $15. There wasn't a wait, and we got immediately seated. We got our food relatively quickly, and our server came back to ask if I needed more water. The ambience is relaxed and quiet with peaceful piano music in the background. Bathrooms are toward the back, and parts of the walls and plumbing inside looked dirty and stained.

Now I work close by and was craving Chinese food and decided to give it another go, despite the negative reviews. VERY PLEASED! Service was fast and friendly. I ordered the 2 item combo with BBQ Pork and Mushroom Chicken. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Portions so big that I only ate 1/4 and have an abundance of leftovers! BBQ pork is really easy to screw up and I knew I was taking a risk. That paid off because the meat was tender and juicy, not hard and dried out like so many other places serve. Mushroom Chicken? Just look at those beautiful shrooms in my photos! The zucchini was perfect, chicken perfect. Posting this for other folks who are judging by the negative reviews. Fact is they couldn't still be in business after decades if the food was that bad. Great food, great deal. Much better than Panda! Sad thing is that this shopping center has gone severely down hill. The exterior of the entire lot is filthy. That's not the fault of Hong Kong Express. Larry's Pizza next door is also a decades old establishment with great food, but outside is filthy from vagrants. Let's support our local businesses! Give them a chance! We don't need another Panda Express or Pizza Hut.

I love the mix of the crunchy breading and sweet/spicy/savory sauce (hard to describe until you try it!) on the chicken, and the beef was surprisingly tender. The portions for the first two entree choices are huge which we love to see (the third one that comes in a side container not so much). Their chow mein is just okay with not that much flavor, but I doubt that's the main reason anyone is coming here. My order also came with a complementary choice of egg roll or soup and a couple fortune cookies. Service 5/5: Quick and friendly service! Also, this is the 3rd time where I go around 6-6:30 and I'm told no more white rice and they will have more tomorrow. Respectfully I'm not coming tomorrow for just white rice. The entire line was filled with fresh food but no white rice. Do they stop making white rice because they close in 2-3 hours? If so; I don't think they should be doing that; make a smaller batch of white rice for dinner rush. So I went over the hill to get Panda Express. They had white rice.
