Food was irrationally priced with tiny portions of vegetables ...and excessive carrots. As a vegetarian I can cook and make portions 3-4 times larger for 1/4 the cost. I expressed my discontent (at this visit as each of the prior ones) and an additional 3 or 4 pieces of small florets of broccoli was added. Customer service was polite attentive and responsive, but unfortunately the organization is likely locked into too much overhead ( too many stores) and is not able to recognize the customer base can eat at a competitor or at home for less. Of course the ambience is also wrapped up in the price...aside from the missing American flag and the prominently (5 percenters) displayed deviants corrupted rainbowish flag. I understand people makes mistakes. That's fine. We all do. When you forget an item on a Door Dash order AGAIN and it's completely on the customer to fix it and you offer a drink or rice crispy bar?? Something that costs the company less than $1??? Because it's policy? Don't expect repeat customers. That's the only thing you can live on these days is custom service. I try to eat here as often as I can before going to work. Provides great food for the price and I love their Alfredo montemore with breaded parmigiana chicken. Their Mac and cheese with bbq pork is really good too. I alternate between the two dishes. read more

I sent my husband to pick lunch up after hus doctor appointment to pickup Alfredo I was so disappointed 1st of all the pasta wasn't cooked all the way through at all very dry so we Went back to our own pantry and got some operator sauce To add on edge although it didn't help the pasta from being raw almost it needed more cooking time I'm almost 70 so I do know how to cook it was our first time there had friends tell us it wasn't that great but I'm the type who doesn't go bye others but in this case I wish we had I learned will not return. read more

Disappointed in my side order to say the very least. Ordered multiple times in the past and haven't received such a disappointing portion. Asked an employee for clarification as I've ordered a side of steak in the past that actually had a portion not just air. Rudely replied this is what I paid for and didn't offer any solution or exchange for the poorly executed product. For $3.50 plus tip I was expecting a portion of steak I paid for, not a few pieces of steak and air. What a waste. read more

update 7-2017 well the admitted they goofed up on the company website and brought back pad thai hmmmm customers are right.... someone at HQ decided to redo the place, redo the menu take out all the good menu items , charge more they actually took the main dish pad thai out of the menu seriously ? pad thai is gone will never return and we did contact corp office. companies think they need to hire these make over artists to revamp sales. this time it was an epic fail. read more

I went into the Independence Noodles on Thursday of last week and to say my experience was good would be a lie. I noticed that the menu board had changed, but no one mentioned that ingredients had changed. I ordered my usual Japanese Pan Noodles with Steak to go and went on my way. When I got to my destination and dug into my dinner I found no steak, no mushrooms, and the usually yummy flavor wasn't there. So I drove back to Noodles and informed them that I didn't get steak nor mushrooms. It was THEN that they informed me that they no longer put mushrooms in the Pan Noodles... that would have been nice to have known. They remade my meal with the steak and it was fine - but still no flavor. I tried to eat the leftovers for lunch (which I usually do) and it was uneatable. They blamed it on the fact that there were new people behind the grill. With that being said, don't put new people behind the grill if they're not trained on how to prep your food. read more

My go-to place for pasta cravings. What I love most about these Noodles joints is that they are consistent anywhere in the US. (Also frequented some in VA & CA). I'd recommend surfing your way through the menu. Try it all! And if they have a seasonal special they are usually a yummy diversion. My favorites are: Penne Rosa, Mac & Cheese, Bangkok Curry. Thai curry or bisque, I usually add tofu to the soups. Some locations have dumpling sides which are yum!! It's pretty fast food feeling, but aren't going to get your food fast because they are going to cook it. So if it's busy, be patient and wait for your yummy to arrive. Bummer you have to park way far away if you are just there to eat and not mall shop. read more

Worst experience I have ever had picking up food. When I arrived, they had given my order away to someone else. They said they would remake everything in about 10 minutes. 30 minutes later, they give me a stapled bag and said my Doordash order was ready. I said we ordered through their website and I wasn't with Doordash. They got frustrated and defensive but told me it was my order and everything was there. I opened the bag, and 1 of our entrees was missing. When the cook was informed, she started yelling because she claimed she had already made it twice. About 60 minutes after my initial arrival, the cook handed it to me directly because she didn't trust the other 2 girls not to lose it or give it to the wrong person. When I got home, I discovered that they put the wrong kind of chicken in one of the entrees and left out the side and drink for the kids meal. While I was stuck in the store for an hour, I heard them mess up several other orders and give food to the wrong people. All 3 girls seemed overwhelmed and completely lost. read more

Oh Noodles and Company, how I adore thee. I have noticed over the years of visiting various locations that they are consistent through out the board! I like the quick service they give but yet you get a nice sit down meal. Besides being on the cheaper side the portions are hefty too. The normal order for me is the Japanese Pan Noodle with a side of cucumber tomato salad. So fresh, so good! The only critique I could say is the tables can be picked up a little faster. No matter what time of day or how busy, it's hard to find a clean spot. read more

This was my first visit to a Noodles & Co. and it was delicious! The person taking my order was really patient while I checked out the menu. We went right at lunchtime on a Saturday and we only had to wait in line a couple of minutes, and food came quickly. My daughter loved the mac and cheese and I loved the side choices. Service was good, employees greeted us with a smile and helped us in a timely manner. We ordered the garlic bread, pot stickers steak stroganoff and Wisconsin cheesesteak with chicken noodle soup. Nothing tastes horrible just nothing was memorable. Garlic bread was good and not burnt, potstickers were decent, not as crispy as I would have liked, but the shape of them was clever, flat and chip shaped. The steak stroganoff was fairly underwhelming tasted just like hamburger helper but with steak. Wisconsin cheesesteak was good but not seasoned enough to leave an impression and chicken noodle soup was ok just sort of bland. Ordered some pasta to go and My pasta was not cooked all the way! I kept calling the place and they never answerd! Dissapointed

They. Do. Not. Wear. Gloves. Or. Masks. when I pointed this out, they said that the health department said that they are not allowed to wear protective equipment because they work with flames. I have worked in five kitchens in my lifetime, all of them with open flames, and all of them require you to wear gloves. Even if you sold me on the gloves, if flames have gotten to face level, there are much bigger concerns than a face mask. Furthermore, this doesn't explain at all why the people in the front half of the kitchen, who do nothing but run the cash register and bagup orders aren't wearing gloves and masks. To be clear, this is the Independence center location. I'm not sure if this policy is chain wide or not. But I highly suggest calling ahead to find out before you order. People have a lot of different opinions about coronavirus and the risk it poses, but I think we can all agree that the people who make our food should wear protective equipment. read more

I played Santa for the day, taking out 5 young children to eat and shop while their single mothers got a bit of time off. After much discussion, we decided to go to Noodles n Company because it had something for every child (no small feat with 5 appetites), including one who is gluten-free. Some of the kids were skeptical, having never been there before, but all were excited when they saw the menu. Not only was the food fast and very tasty, the staff at this particular restaurant were amazingly helpful, from being very patient, friendly and accommodating at the register, to checking in at our table frequently and making it very easy for me to purchase additional drinks as they were needed. I had 5 very happy children with me and a situation that could have been quite hectic was amazing and enjoyable thanks to the attention of the staff. Their thoughtful attention was a Christmas gift to me and the children, and I want to make sure that they know it was very much appreciated. I highly recommend this particular restaurant location! We went to our local restaurant today and found the menu changed - they have upped the cost- and calories- on the basic pasta dishes by adding meat or chicken with no option for going "meatless" according to the girl behind the counter. They have done away with one of our favorites (penne rosa) . We used to be able to eat a small portion of a pasta with a side garden salad and stay within Weight Watcher allowances - can't happen now without giving up the rest of the day's allowances. We walked out without eating. Sorry to lose one of our favorites and it is disappointing to see that posts are evidently weeded on their fb page- I put a "disappointing" post on the facebook page for Noodles & Company and found that they must have "hidden" it somewhere because the only posts that come up are the "wonderful" ones. I assume the quality and taste are still good but the flexibility is gone. read more
