It definitely hits the spot when you feel like a delicious cooked meal. I am not a huge fan of take away or fast foods, but this is different and I prefer eating in. Being a small place, their service has always been quick and efficient and not usually a long wait (unless it is a busy lunch rush) they are always friendly. The place is always neat and tidy when sitting instore and plates/trays are tidied up as soon as they can between serving customers. I definitely recommend Wok n Noodle at Gepps Cross and love their Caramelised Pork Belly dish on the menu in store.

I had the sautéed beef, which turned out to be a semi-soup, but less broth than the actual soups. The meat was hot and very flavoursome, with lemongrass as a prominent flavor. It came with cold salad in the bowl, and quite a large bowl for $9, and the salad was dressed with an Asian flavored dressing. There was a large quantity of vermicelli at the bottom of the bowl. The meal had a good balance of sweet, sour, salty and spicy. The fish sauce was used in the perfect quantity, as too much can be overpowering. There were various condiments and some lemon wedges that customers could add to their dishes. It was a filling meal without being at all heavy. Delicious! I will definitely be back.

There are a variety of hot pots on offer, ranging from beef ribs to seafood stews. They come with the table stove to keep the soup bubbling hot till the last drop. We unfortunately didn't order that but instead we had the dumpling soup with noodles and the handmade noodles with pork mince and 'black sauce'? They are not 'mince' but cube pieces and there are not many of them in a big bowl of noodles, I just like my protein with every mouthful of noodles - bit disappointed. The thick black sauce was rather non descriptive but acceptable. I couldn't evaluate the handmade noodles as special. The dumplings were good and very tasty, looking at other tables' orders, there are different types on offer, we will just have to come back to try them and the hot pot for sure before the end of winter. The cafe is not big, will accommodate about 25 customers or may be more. Staff are friendly but wish they could provide more information on the different dishes on the menu especially we were rather indecisive as to what to order. No freshly cut chillies but plenty of chilli sauce!

I realise now that for the past four or so years, I've been misnaming this restaurant - we've…read morealways known it as Princes Room. Regardless of the name, the food is just downright good here - the menu features all the favourites, chicken & cashew, beef & black bean sauce, honey king prawns, etc, but also some deeper dishes, kung po chicken (lashings of whole flamed chilli's) and kway teo (my favourite flat rice noodles with a thick black sauce) Decor is also classical chinese restaurant - huge fish tanks featuring gigantic goldfish swimming back and forth, red and gold trim abounds, and you can have a nice big table with a lazy susan to help share your dishes around. It's worth noting that even when the house is quite empty, there is a steady trade in takeaway - it's pretty clear Prince Room is one of the more popular chinese offerings in Campbelltown. Parking is a little tight on a busy night - there's off street parking out back, turn left just past the building, but it does get full and can be a pain to turn a big car around in - luckily the side streets aren't permit only like so many in the city, so you'll be able to park and take a stroll back. I love the food here - it's simple cuisine, but they do what they do so, so well. Crispy duck is full of flavour, and like it should be, crispy. Sizzling platters turn up sizzling like they should. Singapore noodles are rich and rewarding and the curry flavour doesn't overpower the dishes you eat them with. The batter on the honey king prawns is light and crisp and the honey is sweet and glossy again without being too much. Prince Room offers you a sample of exactly how chinese should be done - and the pricing reflects excellent value for food this good.

Prince Room is spacious and can seat a decent number of guests. The design and the fittings of this place may seem a tab bit dated, but they've done well with being decorative with pictures on the walls and ceiling hangings. I go here every so often. Once a month at least for dinner with a group. One of my favourite dishes is the satay chicken dish. The chicken always tastes fresh and not chewy and over-cooked, and the sauce is amazing. On the menu its described as spicy, but it's actually more so mild. I would also never go by the Lemon Chicken or Honey Chicken dish. They're served with crispy chicken breast drizzled with the perfectly done sauce. When banqueting with a group although, as well as ordering rice, ordering a side or 2 of steamed vegetables may be ideal as a lot of the dishes don't seem to come with vegetables. Apart from that never had a dismay dining at this charming Asian restaurant.

Clearly fresh ingredients, excellent presentation, good value, fair prices, clean interior design, and swift service all round out the experience. As always, the food first: I've had pho everywhere with the high expectation of clear broth, true natural quality, no artificial anything to masque its natural flavor, super fresh sprouts and lime and mint (not basil) leaves on the side, freshly cut beef, al-dente noodles, and perfectly clean wares. Yen Linh met all traits. I especially appreciated the speed with which it comes out because the timely freshness from putting the beef into the hot just boiling broth is a key determinant in pho's goodness. Carry-out pho is a serious no-no unless all ingredients are separately packaged which is wastefully unenvironmental, so always have it in-house. Competitive Viet restaurants abound nearby but I found Yen Linh first upon recommend so I stay. Alcohol is available, an assortment of Western and Eastern beers. Interior design is sparse with simple tables and chairs, namely the thinner laminate kind, but no worries. Next time I'll report on the sandwiches and fried goods, another major realm of Viet cuisine in Adelaide to say nothing about the menu's many seafood dishes. Service is quick and attentive with the whole family of presumably one related to the owner chipping into make it all work quickly. While I went at non-peak hours intra-day, they act quickly enough to be confident in their handling evening rush. Didn't use restrooms or ask for other amenities like high chair, booster seat, etc. Billing is customary, no cash only rules, TV is there as background accompaniment. Neighbors are typical suburbaney strip mall-like handling, parking is easy afront mere meters from the door, and carry-out is available for all items.

Tucked into the back corner of the parking lot next to an Asian grocery, it's easy to find if you know it's there. Decor is, well...unpretentious (you can ignore the "Paris" screen in the corner too). Dress is as casual as you want to be. Service is fast-both order taking and food delivery. Dishes are brought out as they are ready but our table of four all got their mains within 3-4 minutes of the first one being served. Every dish has a fresh, crisp, made-for-you taste and you can find the layers of flavour in each dish--this food hasn't been sitting in a steam table all night developing "mono-taste." Some items are marked spicy--tangy is probably a better word. However there is plenty of hot sauce at the table to flame it up a notch or two. Prices are VERY reasonable-mains are mostly in the less than $15 range and serves are available as small, large, and extra-large. Trust me and go with large unless you are enormously hungry. Yen Linh is highly recommended for great food and service. You can pay more, but you won't eat better. Eat, drink and be merry--but not too much! JD

They do one com dish (broken rice), pho in chicken or beef , one bun (vermicelli salad) and bun boe hue ( spicy beef n pork soup) which is what I ordered. I really enjoyed the bun boe hue. The meat was slow cooked to perfection, it was so soft, you could even eat the pork bones they were so well cooked. I thought that broth was well flavoured and as with all Vietnamese restaurants I was able to season mine to utter perfection with the addition of 1 tbsp of fish sauce, lemon juice and extra mint. I'm not exactly a light weight when it comes to spicy but I don't like it too spicy and this was at my goldilocks point of spicyness. But if you want it more spice there is fresh chilli or dried chilli in oil for you. They also have your usual suspects when it comes to ordering Vietnamese drinks, I had an ice coffee. They also cumquat drink which not all Vietnamese restaurants do. Pho 75 make their own creme caramel which you take away for only $3.50. Or you could get the ice cream sandwich for dessert instead. The decor is bright and kitschy with Vietnamese TV playing. A children's talent show was on while I dined. It's cash only too so remember to bring it with you or you will be relying on 127 days to be open which have the only ATM in the area.
