One look in the window is all it takes to know that this is the real thing. It is very basic in decor and very busy in customers. We leapt in for lunch and were swiftly seated and served. Asking which of the dishes were specialty of the house, I was guided to pork rice noodle or pho. Chose the pho and was soon swooning. It is all about the stock and this was just perfect, light and beefy with a beautiful breath of anise. Adding the Thai basil, lime, coriander, diced chilli and bean sprouts it was gorgeous albeit the broad rice noodles are a bit slippery. The beef was pink, delicate and generous. As pho goes, it was up among the best. My companion had the Laksa which was also exceptionally good. Not too heavy. A trace of sweetness and a tiny ting of sour. Lots of goodies in among the noodles. He said it was the best he's had. No wonder the place is doing a roaring trade. read more

I've been here a few times now and yes the food is very nice and very affordable, I feel that other near(ish) by Vietnamese restaurants do it a bit better - check out Hanson road for the best. If you're in the area thought, there are good options here - the vermicelli salads are good (not the best but solid) and the prices are pretty decent. Their combination rice dish was not as good as others I've had. Service could do with a little improvement - but I guess it's the nature of the place. I had booked a table for 7 people, hoping they would set a table aside for the specific time however when we arrived, we were bunched up with some complete strangers, but like I said, I guess that's just the style! read more

Very amazing! Excellent service and the food is always good here! Although it is always busy when I go, the food always comes out in a very quick manner to satisfy my hunger. I love to order the salt and pepper squid as a starter and for main meal I like the pho or the combination broken rice. Both are amazing. I also love to order a Vietnamese Ice coffee. Pho is certainly something that different people have different tastes for, but for a consistently delicious and aromatic beef pho I cannot help but return here time and again. Broth is simply delicious and begs you to only add fresh herbs to taste if you are so inclined. Serves are generous, and good value for money. Service is cheerful and quick, without feeling rushed. This place probably makes the best lemongrass chicken in Adelaide, yummy, yummy,yummy. I haven't tried the whole menu, but what I have tried has been pretty good. They mainly cater to the lunchtime trade, closing at 5pm at weekends, but at least they're open till 7pm on weekdays. Quite often I'll go in and have a serve of cold rolls & then follow it with a spicy beef noodle soup, & while the beef in the soup can sometimes be a bit fatty it's worth it. My favourite, not big and expensive, cheap and worth your money. They serve good portions. I love their pho. They have like 30+ things in their menu (might be an exaggeration but it feels like its around that) and they don't as long as other restaurants to serve. In fairness, it's such a smaller space compared to other restaurants. Plus they have good drink menu, there's avocado smoothie and egg-soda for example. read more
