Everything, without a doubt, was DELICIOUS. The flavours were delicate and rich, the vegetables fresh and crisp, and extra bonus for not using broccolli as a filler as so many places do. Prompt delivery, amazing fried rice, this is hands down, the best Chinese food I've had for a while. (The photo is from home delivery--that's my plate, not the restaurant's!)

This time we decided to dine-in, the experience was about as could be expected, the food was tasty and came out relatively quickly. The staff were attentive and provided forks for our guests where they struggled with the plastic chopsticks. The food was as expected, nothing outstanding but if you are after simple Chinese food this place will leave you satisfied. When I previously had take-away from here there was a Satay Chicken main meal on the menu which was really good, this however is not on the dine-in menu which I found odd, the take-away menu that was stuck next to the window near us did have the satay chicken meal on it, I will need to try and order it for dine-in next time i visit. Being in the Entertainment Book as well is a bonus to get a discount off the meal.

The food is amazing. I have had almost every dish on the menu and I have never been disappointed. Once I even accidentally ordered a giant plate of seasoned bean sprouts and it was delicious! However, I have some recommendations that you must try. Their curry puffs, I have never in my entire life consumed such amazing curry puff. The pastry is perfect; the stuffing is delicious and just spicy enough. The spring rolls are also a must. For mains, you have to try the satay tofu. Now I am a picky tofu eater, I have tried tofu from almost every Asian restaurant in Adelaide. This tofu is good. It is cooked to perfection, the sauce is peanuty, slightly spicy and delicious to soak up with a pile of steamed rice. The service is great, the owner always greets us when we go in and makes sure we are being looked after well. It is also exciting that when you pay for your meal you are rewarded with a fortune cookie! Madame Wu's can get extremely busy so I would definitely recommend booking for groups.

I did have the privilege of eating here once, however, and I was extremely pleased with both the meal and the service. The laksa noodles are freakin' awesome. Laksa noodle soup isn't exactly as difficult as making souffle, but Madame Wu's interpretation of this classic Malaysian dish is miles ahead of some of the others I've tried in and around town. It's a little pricier, but your taste buds will thank you for it. The customer service is also great, but because of the constant barrage of customers, you might feel a little ignored every once in a while. But never fear, they'll tend to you eventually with friendliness. Don't be surprised if you have to wait for a table if you don't have a reservation, this place is always filled to the brim. I've come by many times hoping to be seated, but was told to wait up to half an hour My advice - book in advance!

This store serves lots of different takeaway options. Yiros, Banh Mi, Cold Rolls, Pies, cake, etc... Kind of one of those confused deli's. But, I am always willing to try a Banh Mi. I am not going to let that affect my decision. A few options are available: Spicy Pork, Lemongrass Chicken, avocado or tofu. I went for the lemongrass chicken. The roll was fresh and crunchy, the carrot was well pickled, herbs and cucumber were fresh. The chicken had good flavour, but probably could have been marinated for longer. My only fault would have to be that there was a bit too much carrot in this roll. Maybe this was just a one off. Not bad Banh mi out of the city. But, not the best. I will give them another go though, maybe I caught them on an off day.

Like the previous reviewer said, we were surprised by the mix of varying nationalities of foods. The owners are Korean and so it went without saying we decided to go down the Korean route. We ordered a stonepot bibimbap, beef and noodle stew as well as a medium serve of Korean boneless spicy fried chicken (see picture - the take away pizza container was full before this picture was taken). The bibimbap was superb. There was a lot of beef, pan fried mushroom, seaweed salad etc. You don't always get the mushroom and seaweed salad in a lot of bibimbaps but they made the dish. The stonepot could have been left on the stove a tiny bit longer to give you the crispy rice at the bottom of the bowl (one of the best parts of stonepot versions of bibimbap), but then again that's just a personal preference. The beef and noodle stew only had a very subtle flavour, but that's similar to all Korean restaurants. My tip is don't be afraid to load up on the pepper they supply. The boneless spicy fried chicken is where this place stood out. If you like sweet and spicy flavour combinations, then definitely try this. It is covered with peanuts which stick to the sticky coating. It does cost $24 (I think) for a medium takeaway serve but like I said earlier the small serve will fill up an entire pizza box and you will most definitely have left overs! I ate this dish everywhere in Korea, and this place does the best version of it I have eaten in Adelaide to date.

Best to book if you do not want to miss out. The restaurant had changed hands again recently and name change of course. Well located on Greenhill Road not far from the Trak cinema and Burnside Village. It has a little garden in the front and a spacious area on the side for outdoor dinning in warmer weather. There's a reasonable sized car park area at the back. Huge entrance door which opens to a foyer and a big dinning room across the width of the restaurant. Tables are well spaced and there's no moving trolleys bringing plates of yum cha dishes. Waiting staff walks trays of goodies around and you could order also by filling out the order sheet of your favourite yum cha dishes. Standard yum cha dishes are all on offer as well as choices of noodles dishes. I just love their sweet sesame balls filled with sesame paste. Their cute little tea pots add 'class' to the table. Waiting staff are friendly and seems to cater and look after the packed restaurant well. Water was frequently topped up into those tea pots which 'pour' very well. To conclude, the price is very reasonable. Best to go in a group and share your experience with your friends. Just a note, yum cha means you drink Chinese tea with those little morsels and not soft drinks.

I called in to this little shopfront restaurant to get some takeaway fried rice, so I can't really…read morereview what's on offer based on that generic takeaway dish. However, there were a couple of things about the place that compelled me to write about it anyway. First, I'm no scholar of the Orient, but the three guys running the place looked and sounded Korean to me. No bad thing, since the fried rice tasted very natural and fresh without some of the flavours added in many Chinese restaurants, and it was cooked while I waited - well, the vegetable and meat parts were - rather than just ladled out of some huge wok. To while away the time, I asked the front of house bloke what Hong Bao meant. He didn't know, or said he didn't, but Wiki knows. Hong Bao was a eunuch sea captain of the Yongle dynasty who in 1421 may have sailed as far as Mogadishu and Mecca, and maybe, according to some experts, to Australia. Wherever he went, the special fried rice from his namesake restaurant is very good. So that's about it. The place is small, neat and clean. Generous serves of rice and noodles are $14, with 'cuisine' dishes $20 for small or $35 for large serves. I'm guessing that two people could share a noodle or rice dish and a large 'cuisine' dish. The menu is fairly short - nine rice or noodle dishes and six cuisine ones. Again, I'm guessing that they could knock up other dishes by request. Two Asian ladies who were dining in while I was there looked pretty happy with their lot. There are pictures of the meals on the wall to help you out, and there's a small fridge with beer in it. It appears that there's nothing too fancy happening here, but it all looks fresh and good value for money. Next time, I'll try dining here rather than just taking rice away. So, all good, but I didn't really do more than scratch the surface, thus 3 stars.
