The rice only has 2 tiny prawns and the pork was abizmal, lakes any flavour and was a blatant intentional rip off! I'm so angry that the most expensive meal in months that we got was so awful and scammy. Every single piece of 'sweet n sour pork' was mostly the breading which was very doughy and tasted like a bland undercooked doughnut ball. The pork inside was approx half the size of a tic-tac and was a tiny square, I mean wtf! The service on pickup was also awful on the phone they quoted 35-40 mins, when we got there at that time they said in a snarky tone that it'll be another 5 mins, but it took over 50 mins in the end with no apology on the wait. Do better, be better! I do have to mention though that the satay beef is amazing, but portions have decreased a lot with the price rise lately and it's just not worth it any more. If you want good Asian food go to mai kitchen or red rock cos Silver Dragon isn't it anymore.

Appearances can be a little deceiving when it comes to this little Chinese restaurant, but if you…read morejudge it by its first appearances you would probably walk straight back out of the door again. The décor is a little seedy and although there is a few tables providing an eat-in option, I actually wouldn't recommend it. Wouldn't provide the most ambient eating experience you've ever had. Other than that however, the food is quite good and would rival any other Chinese takeaway business boasting a similar menu and typically Western Chinese food flavours and combinations. The prices are also very comparable, at around $10 a dish depending of what you order. The one great thing they have going for them is the opening hours, which are some of the latest I have experienced with a Chinese Takeaway place. So if you are feeling peckish later in the night and think everything will be closed, think again and try calling Silver Dragon Takeaway and you might be pleasantly surprised and subsequently, pleasantly fed.
