Went here for a friend's birthday who goes here ALL the time, big table of at least 20 and we were well accommodated on a Saturday night.
Located up on Grand Junction rd, we have been told by a few people that this was good Chinese. Not located in the nicest of areas but the food well makes up for it.
Staff were friendly and helpful, taking our orders separately which was fantastic at the end we could pay individually which was so quick and easy!
We started out with vegetarian spring rolls and prawn toast to start with. My spring rolls were bigger than expected and served hot with a yummy dipping sauce. The prawn toast was packed full of meat and quite surprising how big it was.
Main was sizzling Mongolian chicken and schezuan beef. My chicken was cooked tender and perfect when it came out. Unfortunately the beef was warm and had to be eaten quickly but still tasty. We did see the sticky beef come out and had immediate food envy. Other friends got the salt and pepper ribs which we tried and was amazing! They had de boned the ribs to make it easy to eat and it was just yummo!
Everyone mentioned that their meals met expectations, drinks were cheap too but they also allow BYO (with a bottle o next door conveniently!)
Meals did not all come out together but this was expected being a small establishment and I have had this at Chinese restaurants before. Great food if you are ever in the area. read more
