The owner is from Xi'an so I knew the food would be legit. I am also from xi'an and when I tasted the food, it's exactly like how I remembered from when I was in China. They don't even have a place like this Toronto, and yet I found this place in a place like Edmonton. If you want authentic noodles, this is the place. The three items I ordered are must .

Awesome fresh noodle - 3 different kinds. Fresh dumplings too! For the heat brave, use their house made chili crisp. It was really great. Better than any store bought. Many soups and combinations to choose from - run, don't walk to Noodle Feast!

Just stumbled across this place while driving around the strip mall. We ordered the knife cut noodles with chili oil and scallions and that was delicious!!! Lots of wok taste, noodles were chewy but I was a little sad that the hot oil on the table wasn't any spicier especially given it was a northern Chinese restaurant. The dumplings (pork and chive) were ok- good flavour but the pork was on the leaner side and not as much filling as I'd expect given how large the dumplings looked. The service was efficient and quick and the restaurant setting was basic but clean. The screens with the menu items were helpful to us actually!

Awesome fresh noodles and dumplings. A little bit of a challenge to navigate the menu with all of the offerings available, but hard to go wrong! Ambiance and service is fine, but the food is phenomenal!

We went around 1pm and was seated right away with the menu. I came with a girlfriend for Friday brunch and was excited about trying hand pulled noodles. Originally we wanted to try their specialty sliced noodles but we were recommended by the server to try the cumin noodles instead. The second order we ordered hand pulled noodles in soup with beef. Our second order was very tasty but we weren't a huge fan of the cumin noodles. The ambiance of the restaurant was of a typical busy Asian restaurant. This restaurant would benefit with a menu with pictures as I found it difficult to tell the difference between menu items.

Best food I had during my time in Edmonton! I ordered online and came to pick up my food 20 minutes after they opened and the restaurant was already packed! The noodles are so fresh and flavorful. I can tell the noodles are handmade. The spinach noodles don't have a strong spinach flavor but I love them. I got them "less spicy" but they weren't spicy at all to me so I might try "spicy" when I'm back in the area. I paid an additional $3 on top of the $14.99 for the rolling noodles dish to get extra veggies which is worth it to get some extra bok choy in the dish! The only possible con is the noodle dishes are a tad salty for my taste and by the time I got halfway through the dish my mouth was pretty salty...but drink some water or tea with it and it balances out pretty decently. Still super flavorful and delicious and I'd recommend this place!

One of our favourite spots for hand pulled noodles. We always leave her FULLY satisfied. Their food is so consistent too. Service was prompt for us & we didn't wait too long for our food, despite how busy they were. The restaurant is located in a pretty old strip mall, & definitely has that hole in the wall vibe. Still workin my way through their tasty menu!

Whenever a friend ask for a recommendation in Edmonton! Noodle feast is the first to come to mind. Every time I'm in town I make an effort to come here. Restaurant is always busy. Wish they had more seating and longer hours but it's still worth the wait for me. I prefer sliced noodles over rolled noodles because it picks up on the sauce and meat better. Don't forget to try the chilli oil and vinegar with this dish. 113 is my go to order and that's exactly what I tell my friends to get. You get a big hearty filled bowl of noodles, I can never finish it all but i love having leftovers from here. Also try the dumplings, they have a good punch of juicy flavour and meat stuffed inside. If the outer dumpling shell was thinner I would call it a soup dumpling because it's packed with lots of liquid.

Helloooooooooo Noodle Feast, it's been too long. Okay, that might be stretching the truth. I've been here easily over half a dozen times since my first time writing about them (see here). Not much has changed other than some new flooring. Everything else is same same and that's a good thing. We came on a Wednesday evening and it was busy. Full of Asians getting their slurp on. Luckily, we only had to wait a couple minutes to snag a table for 4. Menu is essentially the same but with a few dishes that have gone up in prices. Still nothing higher than $15.00 so you can't really complain. If you've never been, it's broken into three noodle groups: sliced noodles, rolling noodles and hand pulled noodles. Okay, there's also a fourth group: fried, rice, pancake and more. Don't actually forget about this section because there's a couple gems. Hand pulled is a MUST but they tend to sell out. Hand pulled noodles were crossed out this time. Nooooooooooo. Get here early to avoid disappointment. Oh well, this meant we were forced to try some new dishes! Hours still blow my mind: closed Monday and Tuesday and only open till 8:30pm! WTF. Trip #1 - Steamed cold noodles (#523) ($7.99) - Sliced noodle served with pork in sour chicken soup (#101) ($13.99) - Curry fried sliced noodles with beef (#107) ($11.99) - Spinach noodles with egg & tomato, minced pork and hot chili oil (#206) ($14.99) - Rolling noodles with beef (no soup) (#214) ($13.99) - Chive dumplings in sour & spicy soup (#521) ($10.99) Trip #2 - Chinese pork burger (#504) ($7.99) - Spinach noodles with minced pork sauce (#206) ($11.99) - Hand pulled noodles with pork (#315) ($13.99) - Chinese chives and pork dumpling (#518) ($10.99) - Steamed cold noodles (#523) ($7.99) This is one of the few spots in town where I want to work my way through the entire menu. Slowly getting there. Noodle Feast is king when it comes to noodles and Northern Chinese food! This area is slowly becoming my go to place for eats. Now if only I lived closer.

Been craving noodles, so decided to check out this place. Wasn't sure what to expect as the decor was simple and plain. But there appeared to be a lot of people there, and it was only 6pm, so it must be good for right? The menu is pretty simple. You have 3 types of noodles to choose from: sliced, rolling, or hand pulled. I ordered the sliced noodles with egg, tomato, minced pork, and hot chili oil. My husband ordered the beef soup with sliced noodles. Also had to try the pork and chive dumplings. The dumplings were amazing! The noodles I had were really good, but think there was too much oil and not enough spice. The noodle soup broth was very tasty and the beef was so tender! The noodles were thick and filling. I have a bit of carb overload right now. The price is reasonable and the food is good. I'm interested in seeing what the other options on the menu are like. Will definitely be back again.

Steamed pork and chive dumplings- 14 in an order

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Noodle Feast was open again after being closed for many months during COVID. I ordered pork and chive dumplings and hand-pulled noodles with egg and tomato. Very generous portions- an order of noodles is definitely enough for a meal and maybe even a meal and a snack. The dumplings are very plump and full of meat- the wrapper is thicker- but not too thick and has a nice chew to it. I like mine dipped in red or black vinegar. The tomato and egg hand pulled noodles come as wide, thin noodles with a nice springy chew. The tomato sauce is nicely seasoned and the dish also has a few pieces of Bok Choy to dress it up. I've also had the spicy pork noodles before and was not disappointed either. Next up to try: rolling noodles with cumin beef.

a variety of food in plastic containers

Hidden gem. We ordered spinach noodles, with egg & tomato sauce, minced pork sauce & hot chilli oil; chive dumplings, sour & spicy soup; and diced pancake stew in lamp soup. Ordering was easy over the phone and ready for pickup in 30 mins. Diced pancake stew in lamp soup was available on Thursday also. We added sour & spicy soup to the diced pancake stew to liven the taste.

This place receives some honourable mention. 3 stars, they would have gotten 4 stars but they waited to long... I'm mean we wait to long. I came here after there lunch rush on a Friday afternoon, around 2:30PM. There was still a steady line of customers but the downside was that there was a limited number of servers and clean tables. I ordered 2 dishes. The rolling noodles in spicy soup and the chive dumplings in spicy soup. Guys when you come here... be aware, your noodle soup doesn't have any protein content... it's just noodle and soup! So make sure you order dumplings or some sort of pork bun... the meal is decent and the broth is fresh. The value isn't there though... $11 for soup and noodles. Thats pretty pricey. The wait time here is ridiculous. If you're looking for a quick sit-and-go meal. Go somewhere else. My complaint is long wait time and expensive value. Chive dumplings for $15 and noodle soup for $11.

As for the food, in my experience it's all been great! The menu is a funny combo of different cuisines, definitely befitting the name "bistro". There are a variety of asian dishes (Chinese, Japanese, Thai), HK-style foods and very traditional western cuisine like beef bourguignon. That one intrigues me, super old school and looks really good. There are also some set menus that come with drinks. Chinatown Dining Week has brought me back here three times in as many weeks, got hooked by the beef and sour veg steamed in a lotus wrap. Their katsu particularly is really, really good, better than your average schnitzel, and much cheaper! Have been back a few times and even brought the extended family. There's something for everyone! Everything we've tried has been tasty, fresh and a generous portion. Previously we tried the bistro premium fried rice which had scallops and tobiko, delicious. My food-restricted niece tried the crispy shrimp appy, which were really tasty and more like prawn-size. Not sure she got many back after offering to share with the table. Ah Chinatown. The chicken is the typical dish you can get at most Chinese restaurants. It was interesting that it actually sat in a soy sauce base. The ginger sauce is missing the typical green onions.
