Big fan of Kyle G's establishments and Nonnas didn't disappoint!! Had to sit outside both times cause it was so busy but well worth it!!! Tyler was our waiter and he was awesome! The bread is good but the oil and roasted garlic is money!!! We got the meatballs and chopped antipasto salad and I wanted to lick the plate for both especially the meatballs! Big and full of flavor!! I ordered the Sunday sauce and now my wife is jealous cause that's the only sauce I want now!! So flavorful!!! Service was great and prices were amazing! Another great Kyle G restaurant! Don't miss it! Derek the Manager and his team are the very best! The food is excellent don't miss the Lasagna- if available. It sells out early! Barb and I enjoyed my birthday dinner at Nonna's Italian place in Jensen Beach. Our meals, and service were excellent. Barb ordered the white clam sauce and I enjoyed lasagna with a side of meatballs. The white clam sauce was the best I've ever had. My meal is one of the best meals I've enjoyed since leaving Connecticut. Their food is the real deal and we now have a new spot to frequent in the future. Be sure to ask for Dawn as your server. Great for a restaurant that has just opened! Busy Friday night had a reservation it was packed and our table wasn't ready because people just wouldn't leave. The Manager Derek was "sooo" accommodating we saw a spot at the bar and decided that was for us! The amount of caring service was above the norm! The food, drinks, and atmosphere was fantastic. We grabbed pizza from this place while we were staying in an AirBnB on our honeymoon and I was absolutely blown the _______ away by how great their pizza was. It far exceeded my expectations. I worked in and managed a craft pizza and pasta restaurant for nearly 15 years. I've been making pizza and working a wood-fired oven for years. I'm very familiar with the pizza making process, to say the least. Their pizza crust may be the best I've ever had. Perfect marriage of crunch and chew, and wonderfully bready but not dense. The sauce and melt on the cheese was just an added bonus to how perfect their dough really is. I'm not sure if it's the humidity in the air as it is so close to the ocean, or the temperature of their water used to make the dough but there's SOME sort of secret they're keeping to making their dough and that's perfectly fine by me because they really do make an incredible pizza. I'm amazed that pizza this good is tucked away in a tiny little beach town, in Florida of all places. Not NYC, Chicago, or even Connecticut (if you know, you know), but Florida. We went this evening to try it out for the first time. We ordered the Arancini and the truffle pizza. The pizza I will say it was delicious and I look forward to Monday or Wednesday nights when I'll go back for their pizza specials i.e. discounted. The Arancini was far from Satisfying. The rice was tightly packed and very bland, wrapped in a hard case of deeply fried breading. They'll need to improve that one or take it off the menu. Our service was impeccable and the young waitress was delightful. Be careful of the 16% service fee. They tack onto the bill. You just have to calculate food and drink, add your 20% and subtract 16% from it so you can actually leave your waiter a proper tip. I still don't understand why they do this. read more

My First time at Nonna's was the First visit of many more to come. The Hostess greeted me with a warm smile and welcoming attitude and I was quickly seated and had water and bread before I could ask. Kareem the manager not only took the time to come say hello as we had previously been coworkers but also showed me around humbly bursting with pride and for good reason. The service and the food were both phenomenal. My server was Olivia and she could not have been anymore on point. She was pleasant, efficient and knowledgable about the menu as well as the liquors available. When i asked her about the "Nonnas Handbags" as an appetizer her smile said it all! It was delicious, the sauce was phenomenal, a type of bolognese with short rib that was literally meting in my mouth. It was enough for a meal but was so good I could not stop there. I opted for the Chicken Parm only because i love it reheated and i knew after the appetizer I would never be able to finish my entrée. I was wrong. I finished every bite. I could not stop, it was that good. The chicken cutlet was moist, but cooked just enough so it was slightly crisped, perfection! I have never had a side of pasta with a white sauce but at Olivias prompting i gave the bucatini alfredo a shot and again she was right. The perfect pallet compliment to the traditional marinara served over the chick cutlet parmesan style. I have been living on the treasure coast of Florida for almost 5 years with my only complaint being the Italian food is just not as good as where I'm from up north. Nonnas would give any of my fav establishments up North a run for their money and it is hands-down, the best Italian dining experience I've had since I've been in Florida. I can't say enough about my server Olivia or The meal. If I could add stars to the review, I would! Even my Manhattan was made perfectly. I can't wait to go back and try something different or maybe even the same thing, why mess with perfection. If I could find any negative at all, would be valet, allowing me to drive by without stepping out, or motioning to me, and when I did stop the car to get out, he had me self park. I actually prefer that so I won't let it affect my perfect dining experience. He was busy and im sure just trying to be efficient, which I can appreciate. Our first visit to Nonna's was terrific! We were offered a high top for seating when we arrived for our reserved time. Otherwise, there would be a wait. We were happy to learn it came with happy hour prices all night! Our cocktails were delicious (thank you, Tyler!) and the roasted garlic with the bread was yummy. We started with a split Caesar salad (no up charge to split). My husband had the Sunday sauce which he enjoyed and I had the Marsala chicken. My only feedback is that it was under seasoned. Save your $$$ Disappointing. Not really Italian. Veal piccata was not eatable. Sent it back twice. Raw the first time. Rigatoni in tomatoes sauce was placed in same loaded piccata sauce. Awful taste. Chef did that twice. Manager said he took off my meal but server already charged out the $29 manager gave us card for two free drinks, but we will not return. I was very disappointed with this place. The ambiance is poor, it feels like a small dinner and they were playing some tacky Italian music. The food was not very good at all. The Buffalo Soldier was pretty good and the espresso martini was good, but the other cocktails were not very good. The server at the table next to ours was better, she at least bussed our table a few times and we overheard her making recommendations. Our server couldn't keep up and we were there at 4:30 so aside from the bar area there were only 2 tables in the entire restaurant for half of our visit. We go to Kyle G establishments regularly but this will be the first and last time here. We have heard rave reviews about Nonna's from neighbors. Most friends only had drinks and apps at the bar. I was taking my brother for dinner and asked if we had a reservation. We said no and I think it's because I was in shorts and since this tiny parking lot has Valet parking I realized it might be upscale. we were very, very disappointed. we sat at the front door. people that arrived after us and sat at small bar by kitchen all received their meals ahead of us. waitress Isabela was happy and polite. she took our drink order which took forever to bring us. my brother had red wine which she brought, I ordered a glass of Moscato and when she finally returned informed me that Moscato is by the bottle ONLY!!! What place doesn't serve it by the glass and I feel she should know that in advance and not need to return to inform us. so I asked for a diet coke. off she goes and I wait and wait. when she returned she said your soda will be a minute they are WASHING THE GLASSES!!! OMG!!! We both ordered the chicken piccata saltimbocca with Parmesan cheese mashed potatoes. After a wait of 55 MINUTES our meal arrived....very, very over cooked, super DRY and the mashed potatoes were poured out of a box. They definitely were INSTANT POTATOES. You could barely swallow the chicken it was so over cooked and dry. At $25 a plate plus the manditory 16% service fee that was totally not worth it. A waitress stopped to ask about meal and we told her she said you can have a free dessert!!! Thanks but we didn't want to wait another hour for that so we paid and left. We saw many plates coming back and those going out seemed very dark as in over cooked!!! I know I won't be back, like someone else stated too many better places in the area to choose from. read more

I've waited a couple of weeks to complete this review. I wanted to make sure it was appropriate and did not want to write something on a spur of the moment or whim. We went to Nonna's a couple of weeks ago with friends. This was my second time at this particular Kyle G establishment and our friend's third time. Service was good but the food served has made me come to the decision that I will not be returning. Our dinner companion ordered a flounder with capers and lemon butter, that was the fish special for the day, and my dinner companion ordered pappardelle porcini. To make a long story short, the flounder was dry and had a very strong smell. You could smell it as it made it's way from the kitchen to our table. Additionally, there was hardly any lemon butter sauce and it contained two capers. The pappardelle porcini had numerous strands of pasta clumped together which were uncooked and inedible. The manager came out to address our companions fish, it was not eaten and sent back to the kitchen. Our companion passed on ordering anything else. The manager also looked at the clumped pappardelle and stated "Oh, that's two pieces of pasta stuck together". Not what I'd expect from an Italian kitchen style restaurant. If I wanted uncooked, stuck pasta I could have done it myself at home. Which of course I wouldn't cause I know how to boil pasta. Needless to say quality is not consistent. read more

Unbelievable experience! We had the best time sitting at the bar where Chef Gary was cooking and interacting with him and the staff. The food was fantastic and everyone was beyond friendly and accommodating. We loved the fried mozzarella and meatball appetizer not to mention our entrees. Refills on drinks were super fast as well as any questions we had were answered with a smile, and we had lot of questions! Went there two days ago, going back today with friends. Our new favorite Italian restaurant not just because of the fantastic food but the staff too. Manager Derek French, Gary Skinner, the chef, front end manager Kareem, who are so busy treated us like family. We are so happy they opened up here on the island and it is very close to where we have a place so we can run right over! Ordered Calamari, but unfortunately, had to send it back as it was rubbery and basically inedible. Received check and had to ask to have it removed from total. They did remove it, but we shouldn't have had to ask. Manager never came around to ask why we sent the calamari back.‍ Shrimp scampi app was OK, but nothing special. Service was OK, considering when we arrived it was not crowded. Took longer than expected just to get a glass of wine and a cocktail. We will try again, just to see if this was a fluke. read more

First off, if we have reservations a week in advance, a party of five should not have to squeeze into a four top. It's not acceptable. Not traditional Italian. The food was dry, and needed salt and garlic. Service was ssslloooww. For drinks. For food. For refills. The floor was greasy and slippery. Five entrees, one app, one dessert, and 6 glasses of house wine = $275. Nothing was gratis for our patience with a way too small table or for the slow service. Poor hospitality. We won't be returning and we will letting anyone we know not to bother. Word of mouth is free publicity, good or bad. You'd think an experienced restaurateur would be hyper aware of that. read more

My order got missed placed in the kitchen, we were the first customer of the day , that was as not a good start for our meal . My wife ordered the rice ball was way over cooked , I had the meatballs, that was nothing special from some one who grew up in a very Italian area of Brooklyn New York . Maybe my order getting lost , gave me a bad outlook on the meal , I will get it another try, On the plus side I did like the interior of the place .
