Tons of seating in the food hall. Reggie Miller (9/10) - the patty and the inside of the buns were nice and crispy! It tasted very beefy and I'm pretty sure they used beef tallow to toast the buns. Definitely on the saltier side! Between this place and Maillard (another smashburger place in the Sunset with 2+ hour wait), this wins!!

The wait wasn't too bad - we killed time by walking around the neighborhood - and we were finally seated around 6 PM. We couldn't decide on what to order so went with our server's recommendation of the mushroom pizza, and we split the kale salad to round out the meal. The kale salad was tossed with so much dressing that it resembled more of a slaw than a salad. The pizza came out next, and this was the star of the show. I've had mushroom pizza before, but nothing quite compares to The Laundromat's thick yet crispy sourdough-like crust topped with gooey cheese and buttery chanterelles. A couple of slices was more than enough for me, but the pizza reheated nicely the next day. Ambiance-wise, my friend and I were seated far apart from each other at a large table, and the restaurant was really noisy on top of that, so we had a difficult time hearing each other during our dinner conversation. Overall, though, I really enjoyed The Laundromat's pizza and would come back to try the other varieties or swing by earlier in the day for their popular bagels.

The bun was very good, and I really liked that they use fresh, regular lettuce rather than shredded lettuce. Proper neighborhood burger-joint fries: crispy, flavorful, and satisfying without trying to be fancy. Everything is straightforward, affordable, and great value for what you get. The food felt like it wasn't as good, but the main thing here was the wait times when we went. Compared to high traffic times that we visited their sister locations, this SF one was much longer in wait. That's fine, but something to be flagged. Staff here felt a bit more apathetic than their counterparts at other locations, but that's the city lifestyle for you. Tables were left dirtier/less frequently cleaned than other Gott's locations. There is a mixture of indoor and outdoor seating. The combination of these different things unfortunately brings the experience to be a bit less enjoyable to the fun that the Napa area ones have.
