Cute coffee shop in Kanab. Nomad coffee definitely lives up to the name. Unique coffee and burritos, I got the desert bloom latte with lavender and rose. And the farmers harvest burrito with goat cheese, potato, spinach, egg. They have a hike in the back with dinosaur tracks at the top that takes a quick half hour to get to which was cool as well. The inside is so cozy, mini library, some arcade games, looks like live music some nights as well. Great vibes here all around! read more

Vegetarian reviewer: We stopped at this cool and beautiful cafe on our way to Zion National park. We absolutely loved the vibe and were excited about the vegan burritos. Cool stuff all around the cafe, you could actually spend a good amount of time and relax here. The burritos were disappointing and I am pretty sure it was some packaged store bought salsa (costs extra). It was smaller in size, apt for the price. We also got a big stoned jewelry (the chain broke coz of a slight pull in my 2nd wear, sigh). Well, it was locally made and the owner thanked me for the support. I'll continue enjoying the pendant in another chain. My friend loved his tshirt and he probably feels it was a good buy. All in all, I think the burritos could clearly have tasted better, it was too bland .. wish we'd tried a drink instead of buying two of those burritos. Kanab is such a beautiful small town, so close to the gorgeous creations of nature. We will be back for sure! read more

This place didn't even appear in a Yelp search for vegan food, yet their food is so underrated! I would absolutely return if I am ever passing through the town of Kanab on the way to Page AZ, Zion, or Bryce Canyon. The inside is comfy and very decorated, and there's even have a short hike nearby to see dinosaur tracks! There aren't many places with decent vegan options, so I ended up getting breakfast here as well as a burrito and oatmeal for lunch to-go. I enjoyed their breakfast tart and cranberry almond scone. They were both devoured within minutes. The burrito held up well when eaten for lunch a few hours later and was salty but the ingredients tasted fresh. Probably one of the most loaded burritos I've had in a long time. I got the Nutty flavor of oatmeal which was alright but quite bland. Other than that, everything tasted superb! Met Jason owner of NOMAD's cafe (I believe.) Staff was super friendly and helpful. We visited twice during our 3day stay because the vibe was nice, food was very tasty and we enjoyed the location. Plant based options for both drinks and meals. They even offered to substitute (if needed). Found me a good book to view and check out full later. Our meals were plentiful and for sure fresh. The drinks we got were so yummy! I got the Morning Dew (pistachio, rose, and cardamom) latte with almond milk, and my fiancé got the Off Road (chocolate, almond, hazelnut) latte with regular milk. The menu had a lot of variety to it with traditional espresso drinks, and a full page of house specialty drinks that all sounded yummy. The barista said that the Morning Dew which is what I got is the most popular drink among the locals. I can definitely see why. It's unique and delicious. Every drink has 2 espresso shots by default, and our 12 oz drinks were $4.50 which is super reasonable. The espresso shots were pulled well and tasted very smooth, while the milks were frothed perfectly. This was seriously high quality and the cafe itself was very unique. The service was nice, and there are souvenirs for sale. They also had house-made pastries and hot breakfast foods that we didn't get a chance to try this time, but will try next time if we have the opportunity to. There was also free 5G wifi and a restroom. The cafe has a nice seating area that also had air conditioning, which felt nice to be in on a hot August day. The ambience is very small town chill/friendly. It was not crowded when we were there at around 10:30am on a Saturday. read more

What a gem of a coffee shop in Kanab! Definitely worth stopping by if you are on your way to a hike or just want to check out this funky and cute cafe with a whimsical design. The location is stunning with beautiful scenic views and trails out back. The owner was there and was kind and chatty, telling us about nearby hikes. His art installations are placed all around the grounds of this cafe and RV park. The cafe offers a variety of pastries, bagels and breakfast burritos, along with a selection of quiches. read more

I LOVE when a coffee shop stands out and this was one of them! An eclectic and cozy shop with a variety of seating options and a full menu of drinks and food. The staff had laid back vibes and were friendly. We didn't get any food on this stop but ordered The Treehugger iced latte (caramel/vanilla) and The Vortex iced latte (white chocolate/raspberry) which were both exceptional and priced incredibly fairly for the area. The shop also included an array of local artists work which we loved. Definitely recommend stopping here. read more

We stopped here on our drive back to Cleveland, and my only regret is not finding this place sooner. Everything we ordered was fantastic--the Tree Hugger iced lattes, bacon and cheese quiche, the T-Rex breakfast burrito, and the caramel apple coffee cake. Everything is made fresh from scratch, and it shows in the flavor. The breakfast burrito might be the best I've ever had, and my latte absolutely hit the spot. On top of that, we had a great conversation with the owner, which made the whole experience even better. I highly recommend for anyone who is in the area. read more

We struck out at a couple coffee shops in Kanab until we walked into Nomad. It's very eclectic with UFO paraphernalia, books for perusing, a live chicken cam and a pinball machine. But don't let the whimsical vibe having you thinking they aren't serious about coffee. They make a mean brew with some fun twists (my favorites were the Tree Hugger and Mountain Dew). Really cute spot on the side of the road! We just stopped in for a coffee, and found a welcoming and cozy cafe. The decoration in here is so cool, and there's all sorts of collectibles and trinkets you can pick up as well. As a coffee snob, I enjoyed the drip coffee and also thought that the espresso tasted nice. Although my latte was not textured perfectly, the friendly staff and tasty flavoring made up for it entirely. Would love to stop by again! read more

My husband and I were in town for my birthday with plans to ski but a huge storm rolled in and we had to change plans at the last minute. Jason, Zuzu, and the rest of the staff at Nomad Cafe were super friendly in helping us figure out some new plans in the area and also offered us one of their cute RVs to stay in for the night. The RV (called Oasis) was very clean and well cared for and had everything we needed. The communal bathrooms were also super clean with great decor. We loved the vibe in the cafe and I had an amazing turmeric latte! Great experience and we'll definitely stop by again next time we're in the area, thanks! read more
