    Almond Croissant

Cute bakery with tons of sitting in door and outdoors! I had the almond croissant and also had a salted chocolate chip cookie and both were pretty filling. It also looked like they specialized in making customized cakes so hope to explore that here one day!

I am so happy to have this super cute bakery down the street from us. A quick walk and I can get the coffee I need to become a human being and delicious baked goods. The crawfish bread that they had during festival season was out of this world and for the first time I had sausage gravy inside a biscuit. Their honey butter biscuits are huge and delicious and they have a cooler where you can get some premade sandwiches for a hectic day. I've enjoyed everything I've tried there and we've even preordered our Christmas dessert from them!

Stopped into Nolita for a quick pastry and coffee on a Sunday morning. It's definitely a bakery, not a coffee shop as they only have basic coffee with cream/milk and simple syrup. No espresso or flavors, but that's fine. All of the pastries looked delish: After asking for a suggestion from the owner who was behind the counter, I decided to go with the cheesecake danish. The dough was soft and flaky. The cheesecake filling was thick, but not too sweet. Very solid pastry. There's a really cute patio with tables and chairs on the side of the building and there's seating inside. Overall, a very cute neighborhood bakery. Perfect stop on a morning walk or cheery location to bring in your laptop and get some work done. Friendly service and you can see a bit of the kitchen, so it was nice to see a small business owner who obviously loves their craft and decided to open their own business.

Small case but filled with goodies. Personnel were super friendly and helpful. They have an espresso machine and a few pre-made syrups. There is a little side cooler with some cake slices, small cakes for $20, chicken salad, and chicken salad sandwiches. There's a fairly large turf outdoor space, and they indicated that dogs were welcome. Great mix of sweet and savory options! The chocolate cake slice was delicious! Super super moist and loved the icing! The carrot cake was also super moist, but I do wish the flavors were a bit more amped up.

Great bakery. Best King Cakes I have ever had. The brownies are sinful. You will not be disappointed with anything you get here.

A slice of Nolita focaccia pizza is HEAVEN! Just to walk into the bakery aroma is worth the trip.

Luckily they were so nice to us when we arrived and said they didn't even realize it was almost closing time. We got a salted caramel cupcake which was delicious, a regular brownie which was the star of everything, insanely moist and just amazingly delicious. The cake balls weren't very special but not horrible. The aesthetic of the place is nice, the workers were nice and the desserts were great. Definitely will have to stop by again before leaving NOLA.

The interior is bright, inviting, and full of beautifully displayed sweets that honestly made it so hard to choose. There were so many options that I got a little overwhelmed... and somehow ended up going with the simplest thing on the menu a chocolate chip cookie I know, I know. But honestly? No regrets. I loved that they shape their cookies like little scooped dough balls so you can tell they're fresh and made with care. It had that soft, bakery-style feel that I'm always looking for. I also got the carrot cake latte. It was good and I appreciated that I could actually taste the coffee, which is a big plus for me. But if I'm being honest it didn't really give carrot cake. It wasn't as sweet or spiced as I expected. Would I get it again? Probably not. But I didn't dislike it either it just didn't wow me. One thing I really loved was the service and atmosphere. They greeted me straight from the kitchen, which felt super warm and welcoming. There's also plenty of seating making it a great spot to hang out, catch up with a friend or just enjoy a quiet moment with a coffee. Even though my order was simple, I left feeling excited to come back. There's still so much I want to try. I also think their coffee itself is really good, I just need to find the right drink for me. Overall, Batter is definitely a spot I'll be returning to. Cute, creative, and full of potential, I just know I'm going to find my go-to order soon.
