#5 Ricotta + Provolone + Garlic +Parmesan

As a beer and pizza fan, I can honestly say NOLA Brewing hit the mark for both. From the moment you walk in, the smell of fresh baked pizza hits you. In addition their craft beers are also outstanding. The pizza crust was perfectly crispy, and topped with fresh, well-seasoned ingredients. If you're looking for a spot that nails both beer and pizza, NOLA Brewing is absolutely worth it.

Our server at Joey K's recommended that we visit NOLA Brewing, so we did! We thought the menu looked amazing, as did their selection of beer. We enjoyed watching the Saints game at the brewery and enjoyed some yummy pizza and beer. Unfortunately, there was an event happening later that afternoon, so they had a very limited menu...so we had very basic pepperoni pizza, but honestly the full menu looks amazing...so we will have to come back! The sat in the front by the windows, it was nice and quiet and we felt like we had the place all to ourselves!

Good pizza, good buffalo wings, lots of space! Great weekday lunch special! Sometimes the food takes a little while, but it's not the cook's fault. I've only ever seen one at a time back there. Casual place. Will be back.

Yummmmm

Outstanding service, beer, pizza, and ambiance! Recently discovered this gem and have been coming once or more a week since. Get the mushroom pizza with the crème sauce & lemon! DO IT! $9.95 lunch special right here!

Came here with a group for the first time to hang with some friends for a Texas Ex Alumni meet up for the UT season opener football game against the Ohio Buckeyes. When we arrived, we didnt get any welcome or explanation, but we deduced that you order at the front for food and drinks, and then you take a number and have a seat and wait for your food to arrive at your table. We arrived around 11am for the game. Once we ordered, and went to the back we noticed there was another bar back there for drinks, but not food, thats only in the front. We realized there was already a good amount of folks there, but not packed. Service - was bad from start to finnish. We ordered with, who I later found out was Brad, at the front. Zero service with a smile. It's a brewery, he didn't offer or allow us to sample anything. He seemed angry at us for even ordering, he had snappy comments throughout the interaction *mind you I tipped*. He was almost mad we were there? One thing I noted was that he put our entire groups order on one ticket number, which would only make sense if you kept all the orders straight, which did not happen. And the food runner tried to take the order number away even though we still had food missing? We sat down and waited an hour for our pizza, the wings did come out first. We asked the food runner, who I later found was Kelly, a few times for our food. He grew annoyed by us asking. And eventually brought my friend and I the wrong the orders of pizza. When we told him it was the wrong order, he basically said whatever and left the food, which I assume he gave to us, a) to get us off his back b) maybe as a consolation prize of our real order? We were hungry so we ate it. To there credit, we did end up getting our correct order after, but we were already finished at that point as it had been a couple of hours. So I took my slices to go. I am hoping the bad service was NOT a race thing? Food- I tried my friends fried tortilini which he had ordered for the table, that came out fairly fast, that was yummy and tasted great while hot. Our group shared a serving of the buffalo wings and pesto parmesan wings. The buffalo wings were really yummy. Juicy, tender, great sauce- def recommend. The pesto parmesan wings peaked our interest since that's a interesting mix which on paper sounded great and looked good. Those wings were not good, lacked flavor, very dry. I guess they need to be marinated or brined, something to make these tastier, do not recommend. I ordered a slice of there Parma fresca- white pizza with arugula, parmesean, prosciutto. And a slice of the mushroom lemon pizza. That's great you can order by the pie or the slice, depending on the type of pizza. The pizza, I got at the end of our meal, I took with me to eat at a later time. Pizza was good when I ate it later that day, but not worth waiting all day for. I can understand the staff/kitchen were unprepared for the large crowd for the game and I know that can be overwhelming as an employee. The UT host told us they had under estimated the amount of folks that they had told them would came, which again I can understand as far as wait times. But not service that felt wrong. Bad service and lack of settings things right or acknowledging the issues has turned me off from ever visiting again. I will not return.

I really have mixed feelings about this place. I love visiting breweries in all the cities I visit and I was more than excited to check this spot out. We specifically came here to watch the UT game as it's one of the local spots where UT fans and alumni meet to watch the games. It is located in the Garden District, so if you're an out of towner staying in the French Quarter, driving or taking a rideshare is your best bet. They have a small lot as well as street parking. Walking in, at first I thought this place is tiny. Turns out that's just the front bar and kitchen. They have stairs leading up to a seating area. If you walk past the front bar, then you enter a large area with some of their barrels, and lots of seating, along with a back bar. They also have outside seating upstairs and downstairs. Let's start with the pros. Like mentioned above, this place is big and spacious and a great place to chill or watch a sporting event. Brewing is in their name, but they are also known as a pizza spot. When you walk in and look to your left, you will see a bunch of pizzas on display and an open kitchen. You can order by the slice or as a whole. They also serve heroes, appetizers, salads, and Italian dishes. We were going to be there for the whole game so we started off with wings and fried tortellini. The wings come in two varieties: buffalo and pesto parmesan. They came out hot and well coated. The buffalo was very good, but the pesto parmesan was a big miss. It looked flavorful, but it lacked any flavor and was just bland. The fried tortellini was a big hit. You can't really go wrong with little pockets of fried cheese and marinara. Pizza was good but very inconsistent between the flavors. They liken their pizza to a NY style. I ordered a slice of pepperoni and a slice of sausage. I wanted to the sausage and broccoli rabe pizza but apparently it's only available as a whole. The pepperoni was good, but the crust was very doughy and undercooked. The sausage slice was the opposite. It was nice and crispy and really good. I had a flight of beer consisting of three sours and one stout. I liked them. Now on to the cons. We watched as people ordered ahead of us and got service with a smile. I don't know what me or my group did, but we just got a real attitude from the guy with the long hair taking orders. He was literally huffing and puffing and rolling his eyes. All we did was order our beer and slices. Then the food came out in different times. Two of us didn't even get our pizzas until we brought it to their attention. When they did bring it back, the other guy with the long hair gave us an attitude when we said it wasn't what we ordered. He just dropped the pizza down and said he would be back. Never came back and I just had to walk to the pizza window and ask for my slice. From what I understand, they were not expecting a crowd this big and may have just been slammed, but the attitudes and long waits when everyone around us was getting their food was uncalled for. I consider us a super friendly group and would like the same friendliness in return. To me, the bad outweighed the good and left a very bad taste in my mouth. Though I have enjoyed their beer in the past, this will be a brewery that I will not be back to or buy products from in the future.

What. An. Absolute. VIBE! This place is amazing. The staff was super welcoming and helped recommend beers & it was a super chill atmosphere. The beers were phenomenal and they had a great selection of styles. I would absolutely come back and recommend people to come out here and try their beers. As soon as I walked in the smell of pizza filled my nostrils. I'm just upset that I had already eaten before. But trust I'll be back for some pies next time!

Great beers and a super tasty pizza counter. Came here on an afternoon for some beers and the lunch special. The front room with beers and pizza was a cool vibe. The folks that worked there were incredibly nice and really did a great job selling the 2 slice, side salad and beer special. Really great beers! Excellent seasonal offerings and tasty sours. The prices were great for such high craft and they had lots of to-gos. What I was very surprised about, was how big the space is! A stage in the back, outdoor seating, multiple bars - the place just kept going! Really awesome spot and as a pizza head, this was some of the better pizza in NOLA. I'd be so curious to come back for an event when it's a little more filled out!

Jeremy M.

100% recommend for great beer and pizza. They have a great selection of beers and a massive space with plenty of seating and TVs. It did seem that all TVs are on the same channel so if you are wanting to catch a variety of games I'm not sure if they are able to accommodate. While there I grabbed a slice of pizza from the pizza counter and it was excellent! Bonus: You can also easily walk a couple of blocks to check out Miel Brewing while in the area.

We found this brewery in NOLA while on vacation to watch the UT Longhorn football game with all the Texas Ex's!!! We are from Dallas & my brother, father, and niece are UT alumni. The brewery was filled with UT alumni & we all had our UT attire on!! We had a great time watching the game here. It's a large space good for groups. Plenty of TV's to watch sports! It was good for kids & dog friendly. The brews were great & Ryan, the bartender was very good. He made my husband's Tito's & sprite perfect! The pizza was delicious & crust was so good. My husband had hot wings & they were very good too. The food took awhile to come out. They were not expecting the large crowd to show up and were short staffed. We were so hungry, didn't get pictures of the food. Caeser salad was good and fried tortellini & sauce were great! There's parking on the street and private parking. We Ubered out. It's west of french quarter, so not in walking distance. We had a great time!!

This craft beer and pizza mecca on the outskirts of the Garden District is regularly cited in local competitions as having some of the best pizza in New Orleans. Their lemon mushroom pizza is a must-try, along with their unique craft brews unavailable anywhere else. The friendly wait and bar staff create a relaxed vibe for lunches, dinners, and private parties. Far from the noise and crowds of downtown, NOLA Brewing is the perfect spot to end a morning or afternoon strolling through the Garden District. It's also a great spot for private events, boasting a private back room area and ample parking in back. Stop by, order a pie and enjoy a round.

NOLA Brewery quickly made me fall in love. When you first walk in it's unassuming but after ordering a flight and walking around to check everything out - it's a beautiful spot. Staff is super friendly, tables are always clean and the upstairs area is gorgeous. My boyfriend loved the beer here, two flights later he even took some to bring home. The pizza is really such a treat here, don't skip it while visiting the brewery. Perfectly chewy crust and crunchy and cheesy - just get it! You won't be disappointed. We started out downstairs by the bar and meandered upstairs and hung out there for a bit. Everyone was super friendly and we just enjoyed ourselves while hanging out. Definitely recommend this spot if you're checking out breweries in the Irish Channel.

Pizza is good but they should turn the sports off the TV in the back rooms more often. It ruins the ambiance.

I changed my order to a flavored vodka - they don't stock any. I ended up ordering a Vodka & 7, but received a Vodka Soda. Were the drinks cheap? Not so much. Was the service friendly? Not so much. I ordered food hoping this was the redeeming feature of the bar. I ordered a steak sandwich at $18 - the service time was quick but the sandwich didn't have much flavor - it was a dry, difficult to bite through thin steak with not much flavor to speak of. The tater tots were crispy and hot and I loved the Brussel Sprouts; they were doused excessively in the dressing but I liked it. There is a nice patio out back - they had fans in this area which is always appreciated. This bar just didn't have the stock and amenities that many other bars in the area do have . Walk to magazine street for better options.

There are five vertically placed flat-panel monitors with a variety of drink-menu options. I chose to get a flight of beers I hadn't had previously which ended up being 4 varietals of their King Cake Ale: * Cake Ale - Pale Ale - Other 6% - Creamy pale, almost registers as a fruited sour, sweet body with notes of almond, amaretto, cinnamon and vanilla. 4/5 * Coconut King Cake Ale - Pale Ale - Other 6% - Milky coconut in this almost tart King Cale ale, getting notes of both raw and toasted coconut, almond, amaretto, sweet vanilla and cinnamon. 4.3/5 * Almond Crème Strawberry King Cake Ale - Pale Ale - Other 6% - Creamy body with distinct almond note followed by vanilla and cinnamon. 4.2/5 * Strawberry King Cake Ale - Pale Ale - Other 6% - Fruity tart strawberry in this pale ale, finishes fruity and sweet, a touch dry. 4.1/5 Overall I enjoyed the beers I had - all very drinkable. The cinnamon was a bit much all at once, these are almost dessert beers and better taken in small amounts after you've slammed a few of their staple beers, in my opinion, but I'm still very glad I had them. The staff and service was good with an efficient demeanor - I think if they were slightly friendlier I might have stuck around and tried more of what they offered but as my second brewery (and plans for more exploration in the evening) I decided to keep things neat with this single flight. Afterwards I walked back up to St Charles and took a short nap and got cleaned up for evening shenanigans.
