We stopped her for a few drinks and ended up staying late. The bartender was great. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful views on the water. Great little water hole. We had the fried and cheese sticks. Typical bar food.

Absolutely not! The food is horrible, the service is lacking , the only thing it had is a good view of the water and the boats. Which is why it's getting a 2 star instead of a 1 star.

The food was fast and hot (temperature hot) -the service was fast and the ambiance is great for a Pisces.

Delicious as always! Best bartenders in town! The ambiance of sitting on the water is always so relaxing

ABSOLUTELY LOVE, love, love, this place. Here every Sunday to get a beer and pizza. Pizza comes out PERFECT every time. Had the garlic bites, and got the chicken sandwich recently and it was a 10/10. Idk what they do in that kitchen but food always comes out great. Love the bartenders, love the people who come in, & the manager is absolutely hilarious. Infinity out of 10 place, highly recommend.

Love this spot... I can always find something good to enjoy. My favorite part is the location. The back area has a gorgeous view.

The sun was shining. The air was perfect. The beer was cold. And the pizza was hot. The sailboat was sparkling. PERFECTION in February.

A private party had half the restaurant closed off, but the bar area was open, which suited us just fine. Not wanting anything too heavy, we decided to split the Supreme Nachos with chicken. As luck would have it, happy hour meant 50% off both the nachos and my wife's beer. SCORE! The nachos were delicious, with fresh ingredients and plenty to enjoy. So much for a light bite! This is a LARGE portion. I hate wasting food, but even between the two of us, we couldn't finish it. The service was excellent. Both bartenders worked together to make sure their customers had everything they needed. Great food, attentive service, and a happy hour bargain. I'll definitely return on my next visit to the Big Easy!

When we walked in the hostess hardly acknowledged us. I asked if we could sit at the bar and she said yes so we walked over. The bar was full so we went back and asked if we could do a table instead. She laughed in our face and looked at us like we were crazy or inconveniencing her. And she was lounging on the bench on her phone, not even behind the counter to greet guests. There were tons of empty tables that hadn't even been cleaned off yet so we just sat at the cleanest one that at least didn't have dishes on it. It took FOREVER for a waitress to even come to us and take our order. After we placed our orders I think our waitress sensed that we were not having a good time so she apologized for the wait and was very kind and pleasant compared to the hostess. I wanted to try the pepper jack boudin egg-rolls. My boyfriend got the fried local shrimp. I did not like the boudin egg-roll. It was fried very hard and I wasn't the biggest fan of the boudin sausage but I wanted to try it because I never had it. You win some you some. I just ended up eating my boyfriend's shrimp because it had taken so long to get our food that the kitchen was basically getting ready to close so I didn't order anything else. Soooo yea. Not my go to choice for a bar. They did have these cool movie theatre style lounge chair in front of the big screen though so that was cool.

The game started at 11:00, which is also their opening time. A group of us started to form outside was we counted down the minutes to kickoff. When the door was unlocked, we headed in and found our respective places. I was by myself so I grabbed a high-top in the bar section with a good view of the giant screen. TVs everywhere playing many different games! Grabbed a drink from the bartended and settled in for a good time. Around halftime I was hungry and decided to order some food. It's an interesting ordering system. There's no table service - you walk into the kitchen where there's a huge menu board on the wall. You get in line and order at a special cashier station in the kitchen, and you either pay there or add it to your bar tab. They give you a buzzer and off you head back to your seats. I got a shrimp basket with fries, which took about 15-20 minutes. The shrimp were fresh, and everything was cooked and seasoned properly. The sauces were homemade and my experience was fantastic. Drink prices were great as well. A Jack and Coke was only eight bucks. Will definitely head here again if I ever have the chance.

It almost feels like stepping back in history to an elegant European restaurant from another country. One thing viable at first was the collection of historical military portraits and photographs displayed on the wall! Their add such an interesting character! One of those restaurant that offers more than food. Now let's talk about FOOD!!! Luke offers a lovely combination of French, German, and Louisiana Creole cuisine. The menu includes everything from traditional shrimp and grits and Gulf seafood to European classics like crispy pork schnitzel with spaetzle. If you're a seafood lover, the raw bar is another highlight, especially the fresh Gulf oysters!!! We ordered Shrimp cocktail? the Pork schnitzel and shrimp and grits. Another great reason to visit is their daily happy hour, traditionally offered from 3 PM to 6 PM, with oyster specials and discounted drinks. Definitely worth checking the current promotions before visiting!!! New Orleans has a fascinating French and German cultural heritage, and Luke brings those influences together beautifully through its brasserie concept. The hostess was lovely, and our server was very welcoming and friendly!!! However, one thing that I found a little strange was the seating situation...Apparently, reservations are highly recommended, even though there were plenty of unoccupied tables when we arrived!!! We were told those tables were reserved, so we ended up sitting at the bar instead...And let me tell you, those backless bar stools are NOT comfortable at all!!! Haha!!! No back support means hello, back pain!!! Especially if you're planning to sit there for a while and enjoy your meal!!! I personally would have preferred a regular table with comfortable chairs.BUT I have to admit, the ambiance was pretty cool!!! So my suggestion? Make a reservation in advance and request a regular table unless you don't mind sacrificing a little back comfort for the bar experience!!! Voilà!!! No valet but you can use hotel's valet and there is paid public parking...

Overall, the food was tasty, especially the seafood dishes. The green peppers were definitely spicier than I expected, so I ended up picking most of them out, but everything else was really flavorful. The portions are on the smaller side considering the price, so I'd keep that in mind when ordering. That said, the crispy Brussels sprouts absolutely live up to the reputation -- definitely one of the highlights! Service was another strong point. Everyone was attentive and friendly, and they checked in periodically without being overbearing. Everything felt pretty well managed throughout the meal The ambiance is more of a classic, casual diner-style setup, with dim lighting and paper-covered tables. Seating was comfortable overall, although the space felt a little tight in some areas Overall, if you don't mind paying a bit more for smaller portions, I'd still say this is a spot worth checking out while you're in New Orleans. The location is also super convenient if you're exploring around Bourbon Street, so it's an easy stop while checking out the area!

The restaurant had a very busy day and they were out of bread and duck and sausage gumbo, which was what I was going to have to start my meal so I tried turtle soup for the first time instead. I didn't love it. We sampled the truffle fries and blue crab fondue. I had the andouille-crested fish, which was a black fish I think. It was very nice, but it wasn't very warm and neither was the asparagus that came with it.. my wife had a salad with chicken and she enjoyed it. Our dining companion had the shrimp and grits and he liked it. For dessert, we had the blueberry upside down cake, which was pretty good. Our server was excellent, being very attentive, engaging and willing to partake in our good humor. For dinner, I had the Andouille Crusted Fish with a side of crawfish. The fish was tender and flaky, and the beurre blanc and chive aioli sauce added a delicate yet rich flavor. The side of crawfish, unfortunately, was a bit bland. In hindsight, I would have added it directly to the dish in order to benefit from the sauce. My husband had the Rock Shrimp & Scallop Risotto, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The seafood broth mixed with Italian cheese created a creamy and lightly sweet risotto, the smaller sized scallops were juicy and the fried shrimp had a nice crispy coating outside and succulent inside. For dessert we had the Creme Brulee & Blueberry Upside-Down Financier. Both were brilliant. Mildly sweet, velvety and satisfying. The perfect way to end the evening's meal.
