So here's the story. We actually found this place purely by chance. We live over in the city and this establishment is on the West Bank - normally that means we wouldn't really go, because getting over the bridge can be a hassle. But we saw a post on Facebook about a free beer tasting event with Port Orleans brewery, and decided to head over. We're really glad we stopped by! I'll open with the only con. This bar is not in Orleans Parish, so that means smoking is allowed inside. I am not a smoker, and I normally dislike the smell. HOWEVER! This bar is a large space with high ceilings and good ventilation - I was sitting right near someone smoking a cigarette and didn't feel like it was smoky or hazy at all. Now, for the positives. The beer selection is EXPANSIVE! There is something for everyone here. Also, the space is so clean and well maintained. I'm picky about bathrooms and theirs are spotless. Not to mention, there's pool, darts, slots, and one of those fancy jukeboxes. Really felt well maintained and upscale. Also, the people were friendly! The bartender Tiffany and the owner Nathan were really wonderful, and the regulars were welcoming. We didn't feel like sore thumbs in what was clearly a neighborhood spot, which felt nice. Also, Nathan took the time to let us know about the improvements coming to the spot. Keep your eyes peeled for the 23 tap system and the full kitchen coming soon.

Bonus points for being pet friendly. They had great music playing, and the food trucks outside were a nice touch. I ordered two flights and honestly enjoyed everything I tried--lots of variety and solid flavor across the board. Overall, a really cool, off-the-beaten-path spot that's absolutely worth checking out if you're in New Orleans.

I have probably been a dozen or more times, and they are always changing things up. New IPA's, Pilsners, stouts, and sours about every time I go. This last time I went they had a habanero-pickle sour, but I was too big of a chicken to try it. Their Soft Focus DIPA was phenomenal, however. The inside is small, but the courtyard is a really cool place to sit even on a July afternoon as it is shaded with plants and umbrellas. They have different food vendors all the time and crawfish every spring. On our last visit, we had a really good Detroit style pizza. I will keep going because they are always trying to brew new beers and because it's my girlfriend's favorite brewery in Nola. If they still have the habanero pickle sour, I may even try it.

They are really good but I think they could be better. The crust wasn't as doughy and perfect as other pizzas I have had in the past and the thin part sometimes just fell apart. But flavors were on point and good for a classic pizza. Make sure you tip well and make sure you tip Michael making the pizzas in the back cause when he is there I felt like the pizzas were 10x. The ambience is like a tourist spot with high in and outs, but also with a cool treehouse looking bar. Music is a vibe so it keeps people in and out. And service is always quick and on point. I would recommend this pizza if you are around here.

Fun & funky decor. Music was loud but fun, and some animated films were playing on a screen hanging on the wall.We ordered two drinks, the Bryce and the Travis. The drinks were $14 each. Very tasty and they didn't skimp on the alcohol. We also ordered a large supreme pizza. It appeared to be served by the cook. The toppings were plentiful and evenly distributed. The crust was thin and crispy. After reading some reviews suggesting the ranch sauce, we asked for some. It was dill-icious! We had the leftovers the next morning and it was amazing the 2nd time around COLD.
