    Nola Beans matcha latte

This is my favorite coffee shop in New Orleans. They have a full kitchen with breakfast all day and lunch after 11! It's perfect for when you're trying to get work done and you get hungry, because they have much more than just coffee and pastries. Another thing that I really like about this shop is that I feel really good supporting this business because the owner is really kind, especially to her staff. Supporting local woman-owned businesses is a great way to give back to the local economy! This restaurant also offers catering and serves alcohol. The perfect place for brunch and a mimosa! Thank you Nola Beans for being such a fun, chill place to hang out!

Love the aesthetic of this place & the staff is very welcoming. The Apple Crisp Latte is delicious but just a heads up as a now repeat customer- the drinks are sweet. I honestly would pass on the wraps/sandwiches but the coffee is phenomenal!

Very nice greeting as you enter. The service was very nice. I got almond amaretto cold brew. I didn't know it was not going to be sweet because the server didn't ask if I wanted it sweet, but that's okay. I added sugar and it taste good.

This coffee shop has a nice location close to City Park. It was busy when I went on a Sunday morning and for good reason. I especially liked my breakfast sandwich (egg, cheese, and sausage on an english muffin). It was warm and delicious. The drinks and food are priced perfectly. Even with the rush, the staff was hardworking and getting orders out as soon as they could. There were tables to sit inside and outside. They had many pieces of local art for sale and viewing around the store. I believe they also had goods from other local folks which is always good to see. Definitely try this place out!

Decent food at a decent price. Staff is typically...disinterested but not rude by any means. Usually quiet (and quick), so a nice alternative to busier joints in the area. Literally nowhere to park, but that's just Lakeview.

Alright! King cake is not my favourite! Having said that, what a nice cafe this is! I also applaud that they have a printer in the corner of the room that anyone can send documents and such to, to do print outs! Love the seating, the ambience, the fact that they had oat milk for my hot chocolate, and it was made deliciously!

Great neighborhood cafe where you can click away on your device and enjoy a quick meal. I had the omelette with gluten-free toast and it just totally hit the spot. Service is delightful, the barista at the bar was precious! My only complaint is styrofoam cups are bad for our environment. PLEASE switch to glassware or something more sustainable.

Delicious breakfast sandwich, coffee, and excellent service! Calm cozy vibe. I'll be back.

I'm so glad I decided to stop in here! While driving around lake view, I wanted to eat at some kind of cafe or coffee shop! I stumbled upon Nola beans and it was so good! I'm not into salads with all kinds of stuff on it....and they offered simple salads that are also healthy! This Spanish fort salad hit the spot! Since it was later in the afternoon when I went, I didn't get coffee, but I'll be in again to get some soon! It wasn't very crowded or loud, so it's a great place to go somewhere to study or work! Especially during this pandemic, I want to support local as much as I can!

They have a large selection of coffee, matcha and desserts available. I went with an Iced Latte and warmed cinnamon roll which was moist and delicious. The latte was good as well. The employees are nice and gave us plenty of time to look at the menu before we ordered. The space is bigger than I expected, with lots of seating areas, tables, and couches. There are also a lot of outlets anf the music is not too loud in my opinion, so I believe it is the perfect study spot. I ordered Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso with oat milk and I am not the biggest fan of it. There was a weird sour after taste to the coffee which I am unsure where it is coming from. I imagine if it was a little sweeter, it may have been more enjoyable. When I sat down to start on some work, I tried to connect to the cafe wifi, having seen the password posted on a sheet of paper near the counter. The wifi gave me and my friend a couple issues when trying to connect. After about 5-10 minutes of errors and no internet signals, we decided to use out hotspots. We were eventually able to use the wifi after maybe 30 minutes, so if you are able to find a connection, it is fine but if you are unable to, it can be frustrating.

So we ended up throwing 80% of them out. Seriously the second worst donuts I've ever had (the other was a place called 5 sisters). The burger was a lot of flavors - not always in a good way...it was just like taking 17 things and smashing them together in a burger and the burger itself was MASSIVELY overcooked...it was 5 minutes past any pink left and just short of a hockey puck. The chicken sandwich was fine, again...lots of flavors, but not any consistent flavor in a way that made sense or was really good just more different flavors. The waffle fries with cheese were deconstructed and there was some bbq sauce that I still don't know what it was supposed to go on (that being said it was the best thing I got). And the meal was $70?!?!?!? Yikes. Hard pass on this place.

I'm not saying District Donuts did the same for me but I'm also not not saying that. This was only my second time here, but I already knew what I was coming back for: that almighty hot chicken & honey butter biscuit. If you don't know, it's a French toast-style biscuit with a 'hot' fried chicken breast and honey butter. Yeah... it's as crazy as it sounds. And yes it lives up to it. I'll admit--it was a little big-back of me to try to take that down solo, so I shared it.... This time We also tried a salmon kolache (really solid), and I grabbed a ramen kolache to go. Creative menu, that actually works, nothing feels like a gimmick, like it has become at Crumbl Cookies [yea they caught a stray] The space itself is clean, well-designed, and the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. They were even training a new hire while keeping everything moving smoothly, which says a lot. I enjoyed this place so much I ended up buying a shirt and a bag of $20 coffee. I never do that, but I needed to take something with me that I couldn't eat, just to represent some good food and my hometown. Some of the best breakfast-style food in the city, easily. This place earns its 5/5 every time. Also officially added to my "EAT NOLA" playlist.

I must admit, I only decided to try it because a girl on tik tok said they have the best honey mustard, so glad I listened to her recommendation. This is a cafe, so they have a large coffee selection but also a nice size food menu. When I got there, I was immediately greeted at the register. You place your order then sit wherever you like. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad wrap with fries. After about a 10 minute wait, the waitress brought it out. I was so tasty and fresh. a nice size portion, in fact I only finished half of it. I was recommended to try adding chicory (a classic New Orleans touch from back in the day when coffee was stretched), but I'm still on the fence about it. It adds a slightly bitter, herbal root flavor--kind of like ginseng. It's not bad, just different, and I think I still prefer my regular iced coffee with a splash of whole milk. The service was quick and efficient, and the staff were very friendly. Overall, it's a great little grab-and-go café if you're on the move.
