The venue is under new ownership now but I had worked with Benita throughout my planning and she has been amazing throughout the whole process. I also added on day of coordinator service and Benita took care of all the details so that I can relax and enjoy my wedding. Out of all the venues I looked at, The Terrace was the most affordable for my budget and I didn't need to worry about table or chair rentals. They have a kitchen, walk-in fridge, and regular freezer so you have access to set-up in the back or early off of supplies. It was also a great help that they had some decors available, so I didn't have to worry about spending extra for this. Overall, I really liked the space and how convenient it was to have the ceremony and reception in one location. There is a room where you can get ready or hang out before the wedding, but the lighting is pretty dim. Venue is about a 45 minute drive from Austin, but the drive is scenic and nice. A big thank you also to Kristi and James for helping setting up, cleaning up, and picking up the catering for my wedding.

They just told us to put it aside or they put entree plate on top of dirty plate. This type of service ruins your upscale venue. All of our food was cold, the chicken, veggies and bread were iced cold. I wouldn't do an event here knowing how it is. The only positive besides view and location was the bartender. Lori was amazing and very serviceable. Her attitude and customer service was on point. But for sure. I works recommend this place unless is just for pictures.

Everything turned out beautifully and they had some great, non traditional vendors offered through this event space such as an onsite coffee cart that my friend included in her package! The drive up was winding and narrow so that's something to be mindful of! They have three small parking lots and their staff have golf carts that can take you from the parking lot to the venue. I do have to take off one star due to no staff being available to transport guests close to the end of the night to lot 1 which is up a hill, it was dark and many guest were in heels.

We did not know who she was at first and finally asked who is this woman that makes her rounds periodically throughout the night and then goes back upstairs. A staff member informed us that is Amy the owner. We were so complexed that I finally said hello to her, she just looked at us and kept walking. Very strange behavior and this was our first time being at this venue. We had never met Amy, we did not know her and she did not know us. It was very disheartening the way we were treated. We are very humble people and are not in any way shape or form the kind of people that feel a sense of entitlement. We love others and treat them with kindness and respect. It is our hope and our prayer that the owner will reflect on this and continue to be successful and prosper in all that she does. The catering and other staff were so helpful and made sure everyone was restocked, filled, cleaned etc! The even made a greenery wall just in time for our shower so we had a lovely backdrop for photos and for opening gifts. When you first see the site, you think it looks just like someone's home with a large parking lot, but once you step inside you are welcomed with lovely layout indoors and a spectacular patio outdoors. They have a whole storage room for decor, table clothes etc so you won't have to even bring anything for set up! We would 1000% recommend having your shower, wedding, or special event here!

The staff made amazing indigenious foods with ingredients from their garden. The conference center and accommodations were rustic and comfortable. Most importantly, the vibes and energy from this place made for a great summit. I am left with only wonderful and positive things to say even though I should have been cranky and tired from traveling to another conference right beforehand in Chicago.
