My son and daughter-in-law's wedding was absolutely gorgeous. People wondered throughout the bottom portion of the mansion for hors d'oeuvres and cocktail hour then the ceremony took place in front of the mansion outside and then the reception portion took place under a beautiful tent with lights on the side of the mansion. Julie manages the Mansion and she's an absolute pleasure to work with. The photographers that they hired were the best and took the most beautiful photos. The food that they had catered at the Mansion was just absolutely delicious, especially the mushroom empanadas. The DJ was the chief of police and he was very good at DJing - everyone had a great time! These recommendations I've made, I believe came from Julie as well. After the tour, I just knew that it was where my husband and I had to get married! Leading up to the wedding day, the team at Woodbine was very responsive and easy to work with when I had any questions. The getting ready space is absolutely stunning and it's nice to have a very clear separation of the bride and groom getting ready spaces so we didn't have any accidental run ins with eachother during the day. I loved being able to have distinct areas for each part of our wedding, with the ceremony being held on the front lawn, cocktail hour inside the mansion (although it ended up being a beautiful day outside so our guests opted to be outside), and then the beautiful clear top tent for our reception. We had a blue and white theme to our wedding, which the decor in the mansion perfectly complemented. The tables and chairs that woodbine has included are also great, there was no need to rent additional ones.

The agreement said they would provide linens, which in the beginning I said we may not need but if we decided to use something else, we would just put on top. Therefore, I requested the black linens, 5 out of 10 were dirty so I have to go purchase something else. When I showed up, the only 2 of the 10 tables were up so I helped set up tables. And the worst part, the temperature stayed at 83 degrees. The assistant left no number to call in an emergency and the person when handled the reservation did not respond to phone calls or texts. Her explanation was that she was out of the country but amazingly the assistant called her when she returned to do the closing walk-thru and she answered the call on the first ring.

The sides open up with these huge panels and the barn doors open wide to allow a lot of air flow. There is a play ground for children and the place is clean. There is plenty of parking too. We looked at several other venues and chose Bentwood because of the serene beauty of the grounds. The reception area has beautiful wood tables and a stage with a lit dance floor. Stage area set up for DJ or Band with lights strung throughout. There is a wonderful walkway down to a pond area with an alter. There are 4 rooms that come with the weekend package. 1 with bunkbeds, 3 with queen size beds. The grooms area was set up with a pool table, dart board and refrigerator to keep the boys occupied while the girls got ready in a beautiful bridal room. Other venues we looked at gave you a couple of hours before and after the event to set up, have the ceremony and then clean up. We liked the fact that with the weekend package we could set up on friday, enjoy saturday and clean up Sunday. They have several packages to cover almost any need. We have been to several weddings this year and I have to say that Bentwood was by far the best venue.
