August 30th, Bean and I made our relationship even more solid than it already was as we jumped the broom and dedicated the rest of our life together to each other. The Milestone played the perfect backdrop for our dream wedding. Beautiful, serene, and as hint of magic. There were flowers and fireworks... Literally!!! We selected a package that included dinner and open bar. The food was beautifully prepared a bit I'll admit a bit bland. Our Day of wedding coordinator was possibly overwhelmed with all the moving parts of the day but it came out beautiful. But that might be the most negative thing I could say. My friend recently got married here in November, 2024. Both at the rehearsal day and wedding day, I had to pick up trash that was on the property. For a gorgeous wedding venue, the place was not as tasteful with trash overflowing everywhere. The road leading up to the venue, the overlook of the patio, even the outdoor wedding isle, had trash. In addition, it would have been nice if someone took care of trash the day of the wedding both in the bride and groom suit as trash was an issue. My next issue was that we kept having to ask to dust off tables for setup the morning of the wedding. The timing of the wedding was poorly thought-out as cocktail hour only lasted what felt like 20minutes. The bar started the clock too early which made the night end sooner than planned. No "last call" announcement by the bar or DJ. This made the bride & groom upset. And upon further discussion, the venue did not seem to care and is why I decided to write a review. As part of the wedding party, the communication with this venue always was a problem months before the wedding. Save your money, book somewhere else. read more

I initially started planning my wedding in early 2020, as Covid began. The MS staff made everything easy since. The Milestone staff was so attentive the day of and made sure everything was taken care of. I loved their options, such as tables, chairs & linens. The Fajitas were amazing! The open bar was great as well! The venue is so pretty that I feel like I didn't need to decorate much. I love the scenery because it played out well, and all of my pictures, and I'm obsessed. Loved every thing about my wedding at this venue, I had several wedding planners assigned to me but that was ok, there wasn't an issue. My only issue was, with the money we spent which was alot, I do not understand why they took the food back early everyone was still wanting seconds and I was told by guests that there was more than enough left. Please do not BS me cuz I'll get mad and fight everyone, dont mess with my money like that. But other than that, every thing was really good, my day of coordinator was sweet and nice which was Gracie. read more

It is so unfortunate how beautiful this venue is, but how horribly run everything was. This venue had so many promises that were never fulfilled. Wedding planners you could never get a hold of. If you like paying thousands of dollars, but want to have no communication with your given wedding planner, be promised food tastings but make it impossible for you to get to, be told that your day of coordinator is not there to help you, have dirty reception floors and tables while setting up, and have the staff mopping the floors 2 hours before your wedding reception ends, then this is your place. If you don't like crying on your wedding day, then please, don't book here! read more

I will say the venue is very pretty. My son was married there yesterday. But they have several problems. The parking lot has very loose gravel and no accessibility for anyone using a wheelchair or unsteady on their feet. The bartenders will only pour a drink with mixers which is ludicrous. The food was terrible with a dried up, way over cooked filet and a piece of chicken that was more a flip flop than chicken. Beautiful venue and the fixes are easy enough to make but I don't think there's a desire to do so. read more

This venue is absolutely gorgeous ! We loved the bridal & groom suites and after visiting several other venues, we decided to go with this because of the Management - at the time - super great customer service and of course, if you vibe with the person that will be helping you- that's a big plus! The balcony in the back has a gorgeous view and super spacious! We signed the contract back in early Feb 2020 and one month later - quarantined happened! Ekkkkk we knew our date was not until Nov 2021 so we had no worries .. but as time got closer - we realized how high the turnover was with the staff at the Milestone. During our time before the wedding we went through not 1 , not 2 , not 3 but 4 managers that had to relearned everything about our wedding which was very frustrating! 1. During this time period ad we choose their catering for convenience. There was not a menu option that fit our liking. At the point in time, we decided to see if the venue could do a special menu for us. They agreed to do it but in return they wanted to charge us $500 to do a tasting for 4. After reading the contract / we realized they should have charged us only $250. We were able to bypass this charge as the Chef made a small portion for us to taste at one of their Open House. It was great and we just trusted the entire menu but day came - the food was just ok. Let's say our guests didn't care for our food which was a bummer. Thank goodness we added open bar and bartenders were friendly and kept on pouring great drinks for our guests ! 2. The communication is terrible . As we are in the process of making our day special for us, we continued to learn that everything had a cost and price associated besides the contract and money we already paid for. Buyer Beware .. you will be nickel and dined though this entire process . As we got closer to our date, Reagan ended up being our point of contact as she was the only remaining employee at Thai venue . During the time, communication was a hit & miss and we took upon ourselves to execute high communication through text messaging. During our wedding day - Reagan appeared to be dis interested on our special day! She was also our 3. day of coordinator we won at their open house. Reagan was more focused on catching us in violations of our contract than making our special day memorable. We even hired our own Day of Coordinator so that they could help each other out but there were times she was not to be food. According to our coordinator. Thank goodness for my 7 bridesmaids that were there to help organize and make things smooth . 4. Lastly , we want to give you a warning, because nerves are going to be high before you walk down the aisle and you are going to want to take a drink of something . Words of advice - do not have a groomsman pour a drink from the bar that we paid for otherwise you will be reprimanded & scolded by Reagan on the violation right before you walk down the aisle. that was not fun and honestly something she could have waited to discuss with us . Put us both in a mood before walk in down but thank goodness for my family and friends! I will say again.... our wedding was absolutely beautiful and more as I had envisioned while planning besides the behind the scenes stuff, that only myself and my husband knew about it. Again- this venue is absolutely gorgeous, our Dj was awesome, our dragon dance performance show during dinner was wonderful ! if you don't want to be stressed and chasing Management for answers or help - I would suggest looking somewhere else or if you want a beautiful venue With a lot of headaches - this is your spot ! This company has hired the most caring employees during the most important time of our future together. We only had to organize our music and extra decorations we wanted to add,and of course the cake and our attire. The hole Coordination of the step by step of our wedding was care free. I've been so frustrated with the Milestone Georgetown. During this unplanned COVID situation, I was so shocked to know they refuse to reschedule our wedding. I even offered to work with any day they have available in the future. My father is sickly and most of our guests are coming from different states. They basically did not care about anything other than the business transaction. Completely ruined our experience. I would not recommend this venue. Honestly, since day one we argued about the chargers because the coordinator I met with said it was included, then after that everything just went downhill, then covid happened and it was even worse. They never answer the phone, they call you back days later. read more

The venue itself is very attractive and charming for a wedding. However, the lady in charge on multiple occasions throughout the night ruined what was supposed to be a happy and joyful occasion. If you are in the customer service and hospitality business, you should find a way to get your point across without speaking to a crowd of adults like they are children and belittle them on a wedding night. If someone did something unintentionally wrong, she should have pulled those individuals to the side and respectfully requested that they stop with a smile. Unfortunately, she decided to be unprofessional and scold the wedding guests at the end of the night for the actions of others and then go complain about it to other employees. There's no denying this is a great looking venue, but there's a reason why similar reviews have given this place recently one star. Whoever is in charge of responding to reviews states they will try learn and improve, but obviously, it has not so reserve this venue at your own risk. read more

After our wedding at The Milestone- Georgetown, I was faced with some mixed emotions. Our guests all had a great time for the most part, the venue was lovely, people had fun, we loved our day- especially after a reschedule requested by The Milestone (without a real reason why provided) from our original wedding date, which was the weekend after the Texas Snowpocolypse 2021. During our rehearsal, we met our day-of wedding coordinator, which was an additional fee. We began the rehearsal process, and there were the usual silly moments or jokes from the wedding party, but the coordinator seemed a bit rigid. I told my fiancé afterwards that maybe she was working to make things great for us, so that our actual day could be perfect. I will note that we also inquired about the "dillo dirt" type smell that was outside in the ceremony area; the coordinator didn't really have a response for that. My feedback on this would be that if the coordinator is new to doing a wedding on her own, perhaps an assistant or helper would be beneficial. There were many little things that did not get taken care of adequately. On the wedding day, we arrived, they allowed us to set up and decorate, the venue director, Tawny, was accommodating and helpful in getting us things that we needed. As the ceremony time approached, the wedding day coordinator brought our bouquets upstairs after the florist delivered them, we had our first look, some photos, then it was almost ceremony time. Just before the processional, one of my bridesmaids had to put out the welcome sign, as it was still sitting inside the venue (it was to be outside), so she had to set up the easel and display the sign herself. The ceremony went well; afterwards we (bride and groom) went upstairs to prepare for our grand entrance. After a few minutes upstairs, we were peeking out into our reception area as the coordinator was nowhere to be found. Finally, she came upstairs with a bridesmaid and I was told the "signature cocktail" we were promised was not available- the bartender hadn't even heard about that. The coordinator told me at that point (preface: we had to reallocate money several times due to having a lower guest count than expected due to Covid, and then due to the change in date) that since we requested the bar be open one more hour (which we were told at a meeting months prior was no problem), they removed the "signature cocktail". I wish I would have been part of that decision; I was fine with the change, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. My wedding party got to cocktail hour a little bit later than the rest of the guests due to a few pictures after the ceremony. They were told upon arriving inside that the chips and queso appetizer was gone. Queso was still available, but the chips were out. Chips are a fairly cheap menu item, I was disappointed that some guests weren't able to eat their queso due to the lack of chips- this is central Texas, after all! Once it was time for the cake, we cut small pieces for the photographer, then the staff took the cakes to be cut. The bride and groom never got any cake other than the bite for pictures; I feel like this should have been part of the wedding coordinators responsibilities. We were super disappointed more-so, the next day when my parents (who cleaned up at the end of the night) were told that there was no leftover cake. We had a four tier wedding cake and a full sheet cake for the groom's cake. With 150 people, we thought it was odd that no cake was left over- also because I had multiple people tell me they didn't eat cake. At the end of the night during clean up, my mom also came across four wrist corsages (for the mother of the bride, mother of the groom, stepmother of the groom, and grandmother of the bride) that were never given out. This was money completely wasted, and some feelings were slightly hurt due to the lack of attention to detail. Overall, our wedding was a success. But, my advice would be if you choose to use The Milestone- Georgetown, be sure that you stay on top of things. The communication leading up to the wedding day was great- quick and responsive to emails, willing to answer questions, and helpful to provide information. The day of the wedding, looking back, I wish that the coordinator had been more detail-oriented. I do not feel like she made mistakes on purpose, but these issues did occur. I try to be a fair person, and I am not one to write negative reviews just because, but I feel like for the amount of money spent on this venue, and the time that many brides/grooms/families put into planning and preparing for a wedding, some of these errors shouldn't have occurred. read more

I am sad to say that my experience at the milestone was not a good experience. This is all because of one person and that was the wedding coordinator Michelle. she was not helpful in any way and her "coordinating" job was her sitting by the wall with papers in her hand like she was doing something. the tables were not in the correct place nor was she polite. I am specifically talking about when she said and I quote "you are like my dog good". Yes she called me a dog. Not only did she call me a dog she was rude to everyone in the wedding party that was just trying to get ready quietly. she treated us like a bunch of five year old children. And when she was coordinating the beginning of the wedding she left right before the kids were supposed to go down the isle and pretty much was just like you know when to go and left. we didn't see her til she needed to tell us where to go and would just disappear. She also failed to order the grooms signature drink that they requested and was not able to drink it because she did not order it and when we told her about it she just said oh well there is nothing we can do now. Not even a sorry. She also had the brides drink wrong the day before which she should have already ordered everything. On top of that she forgot the brides name multiple times which mad the bride to be very angry. The venue itself is beautiful however this wedding "Coordinator" Michelle was rude and very disrespectful to everyone and had nothing in the right spot. This is a very stressful day that she made even more stressful thanks a lot Michelle. read more

What a beautiful venue for a big party or a wedding. Just went to a friend's wedding here. The space is big and looks like it could hold up to a lot of guests. Food was decent. We had chicken, Salmon, and prime rib. The sides were good. I particularly liked the au jous for the meat. I loved the simplicity of the place. You can decorate as you see fit for your needs. We just had a blast here. Plenty of parking. And the view from the deck was beautiful. I highly recommend this place. VERY disappointed in management! The Milestone deserves a negative star review. Please do yourself a huge favor & save yourself stress by NOT booking this venue. All of my vendors were from out of town and I had no issues communicating with them. However, The Milestone (local to where I lived) was a different story. Once we booked The Milestone and signed the contract, we realized all they care about is $$$. They will butter you up and make it seem like they care about you and your event but in reality it's just about the money. They try to pinch every penny out of you. They DO NOT care about your needs or your event. Communication is BEYOND awful! Good luck getting a hold of anyone & if someone does get back to you, they likely will be unhelpful. Although their contract says unlimited visits to the venue etc, that's BS. It's nearly impossible to book a time/day to visit the venue. I booked a meeting ONE MONTH in advance so my out of town caterer could assess the venue/kitchen and make sure they have what they need. The Milestone cancelled this meeting TWO DAYS prior to the scheduled date because of unforeseen circumstances. I understand things do not go as planned but The Milestone was not understanding of my situation at all. I just needed 30 minutes at the venue with my caterer. I had already paid for the caterer to travel to Georgetown on his own time to make sure things went well on the wedding day. Instead of working with me, The Milestone made me feel like I was an awful person for wanting to come in still. My day of event coordinator also struggled to get in touch with anyone at this venue! She is very experienced in the wedding industry and she told me she has never had so much trouble getting a hold of someone to get a simple question answered. I could go on and on.... I rarely write reviews, especially bad ones. However, after being a bride and going through the planning process I feel that I owe it to future couples to be aware of The Milestone & it's management. If I knew what I know today I would've never even considered The Milestone for my wedding venue. One day they're going to get what they deserve...karma. read more

Very disappointed with their staff, they was so rude with my husband in our event and they take the food before the time was stipulated and my guess was about to take food during the dinner time and they didn't let her take more food when the food was there ready to serve, it was an embarrassing moment with my guess. and the manager only said She was there to prob or fix the problem. I am giving this 2 stars not because I have used the venue but because after my daughter was in a wedding here her rehearsal dinner dress (That she had worn exactly one time)has gone missing. How can it go missing when the only people there were the wedding party and the staff? It was left in the space where the bridal party was dressing and getting hair and make-up done. She has asked everyone including the venue. The bride went back to pick up some of her own items and there were random things missing too. This is very suspect. No one else has access but the staff. If you use this venue just make sure you securely lock your things in your car. Don't leave anything on the premises. Sad that one spends a ton of money for a venue and their personal possessions go missing. read more

The Milestone was PERFECT for our wedding! The setting is gorgeous, and the views are amazing. The staff was incredibly helpful as well as their bartenders. Feeling extremely frustrated. I have my wedding planned for January. We are trying to postpone due to covid and the venue is absolutely not budging. Not only are we told postponing ISNT an option, but also getting ahold of literally anyone within the company is the biggest pain. Any time I do speak with someone, they tell me that I would have to cancel to change my date and in the contract I signed (before covid) it says any date change is considered a cancellation and they will keep ALL of my money.. we've paid a ton to have our wedding here. It's crazy to me that a company whose motto is "to deliver an exceptional experience" has absolutely hands down the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. I've tried to ask questions and get zero response, I've called and get zero response. I ask to hear from someone higher up and get zero response. This is far from an exceptional experience and I'm so sad I chose this venue. My family lives in California and my fiancé's in Indiana. Many have expressed to us that they're uncomfortable traveling right now and I want nothing more than for them to be with us on our special day. I am so disheartened by this experience. I am miserable and stressed beyond belief and cannot believe the lack of compassion this venue is showing considering the circumstances. read more

We booked with this venue for our wedding before the pandemic lock downs, but our date ended up being during the pandemic (Fall 2020). We were not given any chances to reschedule despite both working in the medical field and having very high-risk family members that we wanted to share in our special day. We were told that if we rescheduled, we would have to pay everything again (not given the choice of rescheduling for a week day at no additional charge, or paying a rescheduling fee...nothing...just paying $15,000 twice)! On top of that, our day-of-coordinator was there for the walk-thru/rehearsal the day before and then never showed for our actual wedding. The replacement coordinator came late and seemed to have zero idea about any of our plans... and kept asking me (the bride) about every little thing throughout the day (even though I had a detailed binder of our entire wedding plans). Our wedding day ended up being beautiful because we got to marry each other, but this venue did absolutely nothing to make our day easy, memorable, or joyous. Beautiful venue but not a company I could ever recommend because they did not care about their customers at a time when we needed it most. read more

So i started planning my wedding a year in advance and they were in the middle of renovations when we booked the place. Either way you can't deny this place is gorgeous. We opted on using them for food and liquor. We paid more for extra liquor, time and security. We got the premium liquor package and paid top dollar for it. They were very strict as to not have any outside liquor brought in and no shots.... weird but whatever. Now fast forward to my wedding day. I'm already stressed which is to be expected. When i arrived the bridal Suite was disgusting to say the least. The trash bins still had trash in them, it needed to be swept, i even found a granola bar on the floor. Just not okay. It added a lot more stress to my plate and I'll honestly never forget it. I had to ask the lady to reclean everything. Also when we arrived nothing was set up. So during my getting ready process i had to constantly come down and tell them how i wanted things. Which we had previously discussed . Frustrating as hell. Everything else after that went pretty good again the property is so pretty . That's the only reason they are getting 2 stars. The food was mediocre at best. We got the bbq package. The appetizers were decent. Here's where i lost my patience.... by the time my ceremony was over and my photos were taken i came into the reception and my guest started telling me the bar was done for. I hadn't had but one drink. My husband hadn't had any. All they had left was beer and wine. I PAID for the extra hour and time and security and upgraded package and an hour after my wedding started the liquor is gone? That's unacceptable . The lady kept apologizing and saying we could bring our own liquor..... lady 1st off it's a Sunday and liquor stores are closed and 2nd y'all specifically told us we would be kicked out if we brought our own liquor.... but now because of yalls error we can?? We didn't prepare for that. This was completely unacceptable and the lady Rami or whatever said she would contact us during the next week to resolve the issue and of course no one ever reached out. The service here is awful THE ONLY REASON THEY GET THE STARS IM GIVING IS BECAUSE OF THE SPACE AND LOCATION. The food sucked, the service sucked and the management and cleanliness SUCKED. The venue space is beautiful, but working with the management team was a nightmare. I helped plan a wedding at the venue during the COVID-19 pandemic and the management were extremely unhelpful and completely unsympathetic to the needs of their clients during these unprecedented times. They were unwilling to be flexible regarding changing the number of guests (since so many people are now uncomfortable attending a large gathering) or delaying the date, as so many other venues have done for wedding parties. The only concern the management seemed to have was whether or not they received their payments on time. We were so disappointed with this experience and felt it was important to share it with everyone. read more

This venue is gorgeous to get married at but beware of the new management. I believe they are new to the wedding industry because they did not know how to communicate with the bride and groom to be whom are using their services. I'm the bride from July 24th and my day wasn't going too well from the start due to another vendor I was using. The timeline we created wasn't being followed. Special moments that were suppose to be taken per photographer with my fiancé didn't happen due to time management of the coordinator. I was constantly having to look at the time to make sure we were on schedule which shouldn't be on the brides mind at all. Due to covid-19 circumstances, majority of our guests couldn't make it and the manager "GUY" didn't take the bar package pricing into consideration for us. They don't respond to emails, calls nor text when we have questions. Only when it comes to the money being collected from us. If you use this venue make sure you take notes when you meet for the contract, get a copy, take a voice recording anything that will help you in the long end. Also have your own coordinator is the best idea and a cleaning crew for the end of the night so your not left cleaning up. read more

The venue is beautiful.... BUT about 3 days before our event the MANAGER still hadnt finalized our floorplan for the reception.... She was very scatter brained every time we met or talked with her... She also thought days before that we were having about 30 less people... BAD miss communications on her part. New Management.. but she claims to have worked at another location so she should be better at her job... Then the day of the wedding the Bartender was EXTREMELY rude to the groom and groomsmen while they were getting ready.. and also during the reception we had MULTIPLE people said we was VERY RUDE to them... Making gay jokes to 2 men at the bar at once, telling people to move and get out of his way.....thats just not acceptable... He obviously needs to find a new job... DONT pay extra for the "wedding coordinator".. they dont do anything just stand there.. Didnt even meet her till the day of, they could of atleast included the wedding coordinator in the details meeting so shes on the same page.....between the manager and the coordinator they kept asking me the same IMPORTANT questions (like whose walking down the isle) at the rehearsal and the wedding... i had to keep telling them we went over this paper at the rehearsal so check with your manager... If you have an awesome photographer like we did (Juan Jose Photography) he did awesome keeping us on time. We didnt need the coordintor... WASTE OF MONEY! I am so grateful that I was able to hold my wedding reception at The Milestone in Georgetown! The venue is absolutely stunning - with the balcony, the staircase, the suites for the bride and groom, etc! One of our concerns as a family was space for our guests and making sure they didn't feel constricted. Thankfully, this venue is very spacious. The staff is super friendly and professional as well. Ryleigh met with my parents as well as with me and my partner on two separate occasions to give us a great tour. Rami was very pleasant and well-informed at our details meeting and gave us sound, realistic advice. I had made slight changes a few days prior to the wedding and emailed her, and she was very receptive and understanding. Rami and her staff ensured everything went smoothly on the wedding day and that the event stayed on track. We literally had no problems and everything went according to plan. My husband and I would highly recommend this venue to all engaged couples read more
