Everywhere else we called was full or wouldn't return calls as they promised. I spoke to Beau and was happy to learn that he still had two tents left at a really reasonable price, especially considering how late we were calling to schedule on one of the busiest spring weekends in Austin. Beau was friendly, helpful and really flexible with our last minute scheduling, including another reschedule that the event owner required for the timing of the setup. When my debit card declined the balance payment the Monday following the event, Beau was friendly and understanding (my credit union was having problems with their card network) as we worked out another method of payment. Big Texas Party Rentals met or exceeded ALL of my expectations. The customer service was excellent, Beau was friendly in all of our phone and email correspondences and the tents showed up as scheduled (even after we rescheduled the setup time). If I ever need any other party rentals (tents, lights, chairs) Big Texas Party Rental will be my first phone call. I highly recommend this great local business!

I said they said that the children cannot ride this any longer because the saddle is broken and then after that, they let someone Ride the horse with knowing that the saddle is broken. I did not have a good feeling about that, so I took my child far away from the horse just in case something was going to happen the bunnies, the ducks, the little chickens. The goats were very cute. Children tried to pick them up. Man said no do not pick up the animals, but the way he said it it was in the little rude way the child started to run and come to its parent at that point I came up and I said please don't speak to the child this way because mine also is playing with the animals. I spoke to one of the coworkers and said how long have you worked here and is it a good company because I have others who want to use the company for a birthday party for the children and they said yes but it's my first day so therefore I have a lot of questions because I came to this job thinking I was trained and there is no training and now I am having to tell children not to pick up the animals and they're unhappy because the parents said that they can't ride the horse so the children became very unhappy because the party was cut short. Sounds like the people who are working need more training and need to be able to know that if the saddle is broken, you need to fix it before bringing it to the party and please don't vape or smoke any other electronic cigarettes at the party because that was very concerning as adults have seen you And you are working for one of the families. You should know that there is no smoking at a child's party so your boss should've trained you better and you should know better as adult. I was very concerned when I seen the man smoking electronics at the birthday party and I have spoken to one of the parents about it and that was not allowed that was not in the contract that was signed and verbally spoken about also Safety. Concern of a child is very important. That is something that's going to be spoken about to others.

Michelle and her staff help the girls pick out their dresses, paint their nails while they secretly interview them then the girls will put on a fashion show for the crowd. Then the kids have a little tea party with goldfish and cake all while being treated as a princess. Depending on the package the kids may make a stuffed animal. We have a couple cats, a few unicorns and even a lamb I think and the girls cherish each of them. Hoping to sneak at least one more party in here before my girls grow out of this stage.

Our girls got to pick out a fancy princess dress complete with shoes and accessories and were treated to having their nails painted and some makeup applied. She also sprinkled our girls with glitter at the princess power statement ceremony and the girls got to have a fashion show. Each girl also got to stuff a unicorn toy as the party favor for the princess unicorn party. Michelle's speech about friendship had my adult guests tearing up- it was so beautiful to hear her encourage the girls to enjoy and appreciate their friends and to be a good friend and value the unique characteristics of each of your friends. We also celebrated my older daughter's birthday here years ago and the party was also a huge success. I highly recommend My Party Palace- Michelle has lots of options for a wide range of ages and even offers special events and summer camps. In addition, Michelle is very generous and donates every year to schools and non-profits in our community.

We were assured in writing that the ceilings would be taken care of by the day of my wedding. I asked for updates all year and was told every time "they're not done yet, but don't worry, it will get done by your wedding day," Spoiler: that did not happen Ceilings aside, there were good and bad things about this experience. On the day of the rehearsal, my foot fell through a rotten plank of wood and they immediately remedied that which was amazing. Our advisor was very kind and helpful throughout the experience and answered our endless questions. The day of the wedding, however, our advisor was not scheduled to be working, so he was not there and the only staff who were there had not met us before and, due to a language barrier, had a very tough time communicating our needs. Several things went wrong the day-of like no electricity in the ceremony space, tables and chairs incorrectly laid out (several guests had nowhere to sit), and those ceilings were still unfinished (also wasps live in the insulation and attacked one of my bridesmaids). We brought up these concerns to our advisor and never received a response. Like, for weeks. We followed up. Nothing. Then, we get a check in the mail which IMO was not for enough money, but still no communication. It's like the customer service relationship immediately ends on the day of the wedding. Just bizarre. If they ever fix these ceilings, I'd say book it and ensure that your advisor will be working the day of your wedding.

I don't know why they are dragging their feet on finishing the ceilings, but it's a real drawback and I'd be willing to bet it's the reason some people don't sign on with them (myself, for one).

We had such an amazing time on Lake Travis thanks to Willo and Float On. Everything about the…read moreexperience was extremely streamlined from booking to filling out waivers to navigating to the marina. Willo gave superb instructions on operating and piloting the boat including an overview of relevant customs and laws while out on the water. Our group had six adults and one 2-year old and they had plenty of water safety devices for all ages. On a side note, it was wonderful to see how genuinely excited Willo was about Lake Travis once again having a healthy water level after several dry years. In terms of our experience on the lake, we got excellent advice on where to travel based on our team's interests and after following his directions it felt like we had arrived on our own private lake. We probably only saw a handful of other boats during our 3-hour excursion and that was only in passing. The boat came with a Garmin GPS that made it really easy to retrace our steps. For those wondering, there was excellent cell phone service out on the lake and we were able to use our phone GPS, make calls, and stream music. The boat had some nice integrated speakers with Bluetooth connectivity and we were able to jam out to our own tunes. There was also a cool flotation device attached to the back of the boat called the Aqua Lily Pad which we unrolled after anchoring, we had multiple adults laying on it without sinking into the lake. Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience and we would highly recommend booking with Float On.

Upon arrival, he provided a cooler with ice and water bottles for us to use to store some of our sandwiches and drinks. The boat ride was extremely smooth and he provided much insight into Lake Travis! The boat was equipped with speakers that allowed us to play our favorite songs and the slide & lily pad were a nice added touch! The girls and I thoroughly enjoyed it and the location he chose, Devil's Cove, was great for pictures and swimming. Overall, the experience was a 10/10 and I would highly recommend booking with Nauti ATX Charters again!

We had a bachelor party with seven guys and needed a last-minute yacht reservation. We were stressed, scrambling to get everything together, and honestly weren't sure if we'd even be able to make it happen. Then we found Shoreline Boat Rentals, and Captain Dave completely saved the day. From the beginning until the moment we said goodbye, Dave's customer service was second to none. Even with such short notice, he had the yacht cleaned, prepped, and ready to go. When we arrived, he had a checklist ready to make sure we didn't forget anything in our vehicles before we left the dock. It sounds simple, but when you're trying to organize a bachelor party, little things like that make a huge difference. He took all the stress off our shoulders so we could focus on having fun. The yacht itself was absolutely beautiful--honestly, the pictures on the website don't do it justice. It's even more impressive in person, and it was spotless from front to back. What impressed me most was Dave's attention to detail. I needed a screwdriver to fix one of our water guns, and before I knew it, Dave showed up with one and even fixed it for me. That's the kind of customer service you just don't see very often. Once we got to Devil's Cove, Dave went above and beyond. He helped grill burgers, made sure everyone had food, drinks, and plenty of ice, and kept checking in to make sure everyone was having a great time. It honestly felt like his mission was to take all the thinking out of the day so we could just relax and enjoy ourselves--and he absolutely accomplished that. Safety was also a top priority. Before we left the dock, Dave clearly explained the rules while the boat was underway and while it was anchored. Everything was straightforward, easy to understand, and he made sure everyone stayed safe without taking away from the fun. Pulling into Devil's Cove was one of the highlights of the day. We cruised in with the music playing, the yacht looked incredible, and it definitely turned some heads to get the attention we wanted! It made for an unforgettable bachelor party. Captain Dave didn't just provide a yacht--he created an experience. He turned what could have been a stressful, last-minute situation into one of the best days we've had together. 10/10 across the board: customer service, professionalism, cleanliness, safety, and the overall experience. Whenever I'm back at Lake Travis, I'm booking with Shoreline Boat Rentals again. I won't even look at another company. Captain Dave earned a customer for life. Highly, highly recommend!

Being a Bride who had never attended a wedding before, Kristin really had her work cut out for her! I did not have the slightest clue what all was involved when planning a wedding. From the moment I interviewed Kristin I knew she was the planner for me! She is focused, attentive, and the girl knows what she's doing. From the start, Kristin was organized and kept me on track with various spreadsheets and timelines, which helps tremendously when you're hiring vendors! She was very knowledgeable about the vendors and working within a price range. She was always aware of our budget and helped us stay on track or inform us about costs - and she was "spot on" with her information. When we sat down to interview with various vendors Kristin, brought all of my wedding information with her. I never had to keep track of anything. She had all my linen swatches, my calendar, and numerous pictures of my details with her at all times. You can also count on Kristin to come up with a solution or idea for any scenario. There were a number of times that I wasn't sure what I had envisioned for my wedding, but Kristin was always there with amazing Ideas and inspiration - and to calm me when I felt stressed about the process. I would call her at any time and she would always answer my call. If she was in a meeting or unavailable, she would get right back with me. I had the best vendors (thanks to Kristin's recommendations). My wedding day was flawless as she handled every detail and I never knew of any issues. I worked with both Kristin and Erica but Erica was the primary planner for my wedding. They are both SO knowledgeable, helpful, comforting and on top of things! When I initially started researching venues, I was so overwhelmed and I ran across Kristin at a wedding expo and she helped ID a venue I hadn't even looked at that ended up being absolutely perfect. Her packages were very fairly priced and focused on the big items I was the most stressed about. From the day I booked I felt a huge sense of relief in trusting Erica to plan my wedding weekend. Not only was she supportive throughout my year + of engagement from helping me design decor with budget and a timeless result in mind to identifying and coordinating all my vendors, she earned every penny I paid on the day of alone. She helped ensure everything went smoothly on the big day despite several hiccups and was able to direct folks and keep everyone in line politely and clearly. She also helped me, my husband and our loved ones (MOH, mom, MIL,etc) truly enjoy the day to fullest, reminding us to focus on what's important for the day and trusting her with all the details. Kristin is seriously a dream come true. Accountability was my top requirement when researching wedding planners and Kristin had it in spades. I never had a doubt she had the ability & experience to deliver and felt she really took the time to understand both our vision and budget for the wedding. I'm a Type A bride who had a LOT of specific ideas for our wedding, so I knew I needed someone capable & professional but also realistic & firm who could push back when needed. I am so grateful for the guidance Kristin provided and her ability to get things done. One of the biggest advantages I found with Kristin was the fact she brings an on-site assistant on the wedding day - as a team they were highly coordinated and impressive to watch. Super effective at everything from corralling guests to guiding the wedding party to hyping the crowd for our grand exit. I can truly say I did not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day. As a couple paying for our own wedding, we were very sensitive to budget but I can honestly say hiring Kristin was the best money we spent. She is an event planning genius and extremely detail oriented, from the get go she had several ideas to craft our fusion Pakistani-American wedding! It included the heavy hitting wedding vendors (coordination, catering, bartending) while giving us one point of contact for managing it all. Julia was our primary point of contact throughout most of our planning, and she was amazing. The resources W&W provide are great - it outlined everything month-to-month, so we never felt rushed and we never felt like we were leaving anything out as things were planned. Julia was also there to answer any questions we had throughout the process, so we were never left to figure things out for ourselves or stuck with any guesswork while putting the event together. Once we got closer to the day of, Abi was brought in as our day of / month of coordinator, and she was just as diligent and easy to work with as Julia. We never felt like we were getting "passed around" or had to repeat ourselves - their documentation was fantastic and we really never had anything to stress about throughout the whole process. Abi managed the rehearsal and wedding day beautifully, we never had to think about any of the logistics and we had several guests tell us it was the smoothest ran wedding they had ever been to. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Austin Wedding Planners. We went with the wedding advisor package. We…read morefound them generally unwilling to provide opinions (I would ask questions about something and all I'd get back is "well every vendor does things differently"). They were overly pushy about preferred vendors (for instance, I heard from our venue who were contracted to provide our table settings that Austin Wedding Planners tried to get them to use one of Austin Wedding Planner's preferred vendors without talking to me about it) and they made some expensive oversights with the vendors that they'd recommended. For instance: They insisted a florist they suggested would not give us an a la carte (vs. full design) package. They did. We reached out to a florist AWP recommended with a minimum for full design. When we got that quote back it was clear they were struggling to get to that number and were suggesting more florals than we actually wanted. I saw they also offer a la carte options. I asked Rosa to ask about it. She said no, that that was only for elopements. I was really excited about them so I emailed them directly to ask if it would be an option. They immediately agreed. After I told Austin Wedding Planners the florist would do a la carte for us Rosa called me stressing out. Who would set up and break down the flowers? I said we would figure it out after our call with them. It turns out they were able to do both for a modest fee. Another instance, Austin Wedding Planners said our tenting company would not allow our venue to set up lighting in the tent. They did. I asked our venue which had string lights if they'd be able to set up lighting in our tent (our rain back up plan). The venue said yes. Rosa said no--that the tenting company wouldn't allow it. I followed up with the tenting company (who were not on the call). They said our venue could set up the lights. These two things would have cost us over $4000 if we hadn't followed up. Is it possible these vendors gave me different answers than they gave Austin Wedding Planners or they changed their policies recently? Sure. But given the premise of the advisor package is that you have a relationship with these vendors you should be getting me better deals not worse ones than if I negotiated on my own. Austin Wedding Planners have clearly been doing this for a long time and I think if you needed a day of planner this could still be a good pick for you.

Works from her home and refuses to meet at your home or another location. She requires 1/2 payment upfront before you ever get to have your 1st meeting. The coaching sessions were $600. She insisted we attend 6 coaching session in order for her to get to know us better. She did not ask us about our history or offer to tell us anything about her background. When we arrived at the 1st session we were handed a folder with 110 multiple choice questions within 10 minutes of our arrival and told we had 20 minutes to take the test. Crazy. We are 59 and 62 years old. We didn't need coaching our a marriage counselor. My 1st marriage of 34 years ended after loosing my late husband to brain cancer in 2023. He had a 23 month battle. He was the love of my life and my only marriage. My fiancé' only agreed to attend because I ask him. When we arrived and when we left our 1st session, we knew nothing about this woman. Ed had never spoken with her prior and was so offended by her approach. Do not use this woman's services. She only cares about the financial side not about your wedding and marriage being a success.

From the moment I sent an inquiry to the farewell at the end of our evening, we were so glad that we found Austin Occasions. We found their packages easy to select from and Melissa also provided a number of recommendations (what we might need, what we didn't need) that were greatly appreciated. Even when we had a last minute change in venue (as in, the day before), Austin Occasions didn't skip a beat. Every single team member at our event was pleasant, professional, attentive, and made things so easy. B was a wonderful crew leader and very helpful with facilitating decisions about where to set up, our place settings, and keeping things on track.
