We spent one night doing cooking class with SilverWhisk. The venue was a fancy $2.4M house with a pool. It looked right out of Vogue and amazing. By the time we arrived, the appetizers (Tuna crackers) and Sangria were already set up (delicious) and the chefs were preparing for the cooking session. The whole session was very organized and the staff were very friendly. While many of us are not good at the cooking, we received great instruction and the end result turned out to be great! Would totally do it again if our team ever visit Austin again.

The meals we made were awesome and something that we could all make at home, not "too fancy" where we'd have to go to a special store to get, but also just the right amount of "newness" for some of us that might not try on our own at home...like handmade pasta or from scratch chocolate mousse. We had two teams. One team took Italian and made a handmade Bolognese pasta dish. The second team cooked a Mexican Chicken and Rice dish. Both teams prepared a dessert as well. It was the most fun most people have had at a corporate event! *So much better than a stuffy overpriced steak dinner!* I could see this being a great way to start a bachelorette party, friend gathering, family reunion, birthday party, date night with other couples, etc.! Today I bought a knife and this wonderful brownie bowl pan. It turns your brownies into a bowl. I've already used it once and I filled the bowl with vanilla ice cream and coconut shavings. I popped in the studio earlier today to watch our daughter Kenzie dance tonight. It's refreshing to see a teacher care and share her talent to help foster the next generation of ballerinas. She offers correction, a warm smile while fostering and building good and safe habits, while gently help the girls perfect their technique. PAIYH provides dancers with a safe place to grow; this studio is an amazing gift to our community.

As my family planned to do a long stay in Taiwan, we couldn't join 2022-2023 but came back immediately after my oldest expressed her need to dance last month. Ms. Dana has always welcomed us with open arms. She cares about dancers' overall well-being. Happy dancers are what she is aiming for but she also teaches the value of hard work. Attendance is important, being present is too. After a year of not being at the studio, it was a little too challenging for my girl to keep up with girls a year older. Ms. Dana noticed and emailed me right after class asking how my kid felt and if she was enjoying herself. Then next class we tried again and she kindly asked if we'd like to join another class, just to see if my kid would enjoy it even more. We sure did and will now be in the new class. I don't think there are many teachers out there who would care for individual dancers that much! We feel so lucky to be part of this big family.
