Im extremely disappointed by a communication error made by iGoDental's billing department. As if…read morethe billing issue itself was not frustrating enough, I was then left feeling like I was practically shown the door when I expressed my concerns. In February 2026, I went to iGoDental for a dental cleaning and a consultation for veneers on a couple of teeth. Upon checking out, I was provided with a quote listing my patient responsibility as 2453.10 with 2000 expected to be covered by my insurance. I paid the 2453.10 in full and was extremely excited to finally perfect my smile after recently completing Invisalign Dr Hanna Choi performed my veneers, and I genuinely liked her and her work. She was kind, warm, and did beautiful work. I was so happy with my smile that I even recommended iGoDental to others based on my experience with her. Unfortunately, my experience with the billing department has completely changed my perception of the clinic. A couple of months later, I received a text stating that I had an outstanding balance of approximately $1,400. I was obviously taken aback, especially because I had already paid the amount I was told was my responsibility in full.I called the clinic and eventually spoke with the manager, who I was told is one of the new managers. The manager explained that my insurance had denied the claim and that I was now responsible for the remaining balance. I explained that I had never been made aware that an insurance denial was even a possibility. Had I known, I absolutely would not have paid the full amount that day without first obtaining the billing codes and contacting UnitedHealthcare myself to verify coverage. The manager apologized that I had not been made aware and explained that she was "a new manager" and that there were "a lot of new front desk members who are new and working on their wording." I understand that employees can be new and mistakes happen. However, I relied on the information provided by the office when deciding to proceed with treatment. The manager then explained that the consent I signed "clearly states" that I understood the amount was an estimate and that I would be responsible for any remaining balance in the event of an insurance denial. I reviewed the consent myself. The composite resin consent states regarding insurance: "Insurance: Some plans only cover the cost of amalgam, so the patient may pay more. The material used will be properly documented." I would genuinely like to know how that clearly communicates to a patient that their insurance could deny the claim altogether and leave them responsible a huge bill. The quote I was provided also did not clearly explain that I could potentially be responsible for a significant additional balance if insurance denied the claim. It is incredibly disheartening to feel financially responsible for a lack of communication from the billing team. If there was a possibility that my insurance would deny the claim, I believe that should have been clearly communicated before I paid thousands of dollars--not months later when I was suddenly presented with a large bill. What was perhaps most disappointing was how the situation was handled afterward. I explained that I would have happily continued as a patient for many years for routine visits, including throughout the five-year warranty period for my veneers. I live only about five minutes from the clinic, genuinely liked the Dr and had every intention of continuing my care there. However, the manager told me I could have my cleanings done elsewhere and simply come back to iGoDental if I needed my veneers repaired, as long as I provided documentation that I was maintaining routine cleanings. Instead of feeling that the practice wanted to resolve the situation and maintain what could have been a long-term patient relationship, I felt as though I was essentially being shown the door. It's a shame because I really liked the Dr's work and appreciated that iGoDental is privately owned. I was prepared to be a long-term patient, but this experience has unfortunately changed my perception of the practice. If you choose to receive treatment here, my advice is simple: get everything in writing, verify your coverage with your insurance yourself, and don't assume that the quote you're given is necessarily what you will ultimately owe.

They got me right in, placed a temporary crown and worked with a shade match company to get the permanent crown shade just right. Subsequently, I have moved my entire family over to this office and everyone has been more than happy. I think the best part is the "vibe". They play music videos in the lobby and exotic destinations travel vids in the each of the individual rooms. Its a little girly with hot pink furniture and decor, but I love it! Everyone has been amazing from the front desk to the dentist! I am forever grateful to you all for helping me through one of the lowest points in my dental history.

If you are considering cosmetic dental work and are going to invest a significant amount of money,…read moremy advice is to find a dentist who specializes in cosmetic dentistry and make sure you know exactly who will be performing your treatment. My experience with Vibe Dental was completely different from what I was promised. The first person who met with me presented the treatment in a very positive way and told me that the work could last 15 years or more. I was also repeatedly told that if I was not satisfied with the results, they would refund my money. I trusted what I was told and paid $6,000 in cash for my treatment. Unfortunately, my experience throughout the process was very different from what had been promised. I had problems with the bridge, pain, and ongoing discomfort, and I had to return to the office multiple times. For a treatment that cost $6,000, I expected to receive professional and consistent care. What was especially frustrating was feeling like I was not being treated by the level of professional I expected for this type of cosmetic dental work. At times, different dental assistants were involved in the process, and I felt that a dentist was only brought in when problems had already developed. The way I was treated toward the end also made me feel like they did not even want me there. Eventually, I had to go to another dental office to have my situation evaluated. I ended up needing additional treatment, including a root canal, and I had to pay additional money out of my own pocket to address the problems I was experiencing. And the most frustrating part is that THEY NEVER EVEN FINISHED THE WORK I PAID $6,000 FOR. I am still left with a temporary restoration. After everything I went through -- the pain, the dental problems, the additional treatment, and the extra expenses -- I am honestly afraid to go back to this office. I do not want to experience that again. I also contacted Vibe Dental about my concerns and requested my money back, especially because I had been told that I would receive a refund if I was not satisfied. After I provided information and documentation regarding what happened, they stopped responding to my emails. I have documentation related to my experience, including receipts, X-rays, clinical notes, invoices, and emails. This is not simply a case of being unhappy with the appearance of cosmetic work. I paid $6,000, experienced significant problems and pain, had to seek treatment at another dental office, incurred additional expenses, and ultimately did not receive the completed treatment I originally paid for. My advice is to do your research before paying a large amount of money for cosmetic dental work. Ask who will actually be performing each part of your treatment, make sure you understand exactly what you are paying for, and consider getting a second opinion. This was my personal experience with Vibe Dental, and after everything that happened, I would never go back.

Instead of…read moreleaving with confidence that my immediate concern had been addressed, I was presented with a treatment plan exceeding $3,000. I was told AI had identified an infection and was even given antibiotics "just in case." While the dentist was polite, I left without confidence that the diagnosis or urgency of the recommended treatment had been established through a thorough clinical evaluation. My greatest concern is that a diagnosis carrying thousands of dollars in treatment recommendations was made without the comprehensive clinical examination I would reasonably expect to support it. The treatment coordinator repeatedly asked when she could follow up after I had already explained that I would contact the office if I chose to proceed. I was also asked for my Social Security number despite not applying for financing, without any clear explanation as to why it was needed. I also noticed that the business name on my paperwork differed from the name under which the practice is listed on Yelp, which only added to my concerns about transparency. By the time I left, the entire experience felt more like a sales process than healthcare. I will be seeking a second opinion and encourage anyone facing significant treatment recommendations to do the same before making a decision.

Unfortunately, since the practice changed ownership about a year ago, the quality of care and overall experience has declined significantly. Recently, I received a bill for over $1,100 completely out of the blue. I have always paid my balance in full at the time of each appointment, so this was both unexpected and confusing. The statement also lacked a clear explanation of what the charges were for. At my routine cleaning today, I planned to discuss the bill, but the appointment itself only reinforced my concerns. It was by far the poorest cleaning I've received there. The staff seemed inexperienced, and there appears to be constant turnover. Over the past year, I've seen multiple different hygienists and front desk employees, which is a stark contrast to the consistency the practice used to have. To make matters worse, I was told during my exam that I suddenly needed nearly $2,000 worth of dental work. This had never been mentioned during previous exams, making the recommendation feel unexpected and difficult to trust without a clear explanation. It's disappointing to see how much this practice has changed. What was once a family-oriented dental office built on trust now feels much more focused on generating revenue than providing the level of care and transparency that longtime patients have come to expect.
